Answer: It is a nice reel. It came with the line installed and ready to go.

Answer: The Zebco 33 has that feature but the 202 does not.

Will this work on a kids wakeman rod? I bought the wakeman and the reel is just terrible.
Answer: I would know of no reason why it wouldn't. I used one as a kid, my kids used them when they were kids, and now my grandkids are using them...all on any spare rod that was kid sized.

Answer: The front cover does remove by turning it counterclockwise.

Answer: You can use it in salt water just make sure you rinse it with fresh water really good afterwards. It is not salt water resistant at all.

Answer: The zebco 202 has the capacity to hold 110 yards of 10lb test. Which it comes spoiled with. The higher the lb test the less line you will be able to put on the reel

Answer: My two cents is spend your money elsewhere. I used this reel once (in freshwater) and the next day it completely failed. This happened two years ago so I can't remember exactly what happened but I do remember throwing it in the bin

Kids used this reel with a kid's telescopic fishing pole to catch bass in the neighborhood HOA pond. Awesome that kids love fishing and this reel gets the job done. Probably can get a better quality reel but have a lesser quality makes the catch harder than it is I suppose (which make the fish fly, go backwards, put up a good fight). I think my son's PB bass is definitely better than mine... LOL. Definitely recommend for kids.
