I do not recommend this reel. it is cheaply made. when I took it out of the box and looked it over I immediately started the return process.

出品者から通関で時間が掛かっているとの事の説明がありました。
商品に関して聞いた事があまりないメーカーなのでどんなものが来るかと思っていたのですが案外しっかりとしていてビスなんかも不具合なし。
隙間も無し。
傷も無し。
ハンドル回してみて異音も無し。
あとは実際現場で釣ってみてどうかがまだわかりませんが問題なさそうです。

商品は良いようだが配送がダメ！
配達予定がズルズル伸びるし予定日には配達されない。
配達状況も発送済だけ。追跡もできない。
問い合わせてももう少しだって。

the 3000 Spool holds a Lot of 10 Lb line and Even more 4 lb about 500 METERS ( WOW) 10 Lb 250 Meters. Sema Line which is thinner per Lb than any I have Found including Stren and the Most expensive Line I found locally. Casts are Long well that's the Rods Function no tangles yet. on an Over filled Spool. I like this Real I have DIAWA reels and comparing both in relative sized reels there is NO notable difference Thus Its a TOP line Product at reasonable price. I have Diwa reels now in 14000 4000 3000 and 1000 Sizes the 3,4 are basically the same reel different spool depth the 14000 is for Salt Water beach Fishing where Long casts are NEEDED. LONG casts require Long Rods. I use a 14 Ft and 12 Foot rods for the Beach and 12 and 14 ft for fresh water, big game and Fun for pan fish with a float and dust shot for weight .
Retrieval speed for Rock and Weed skipping is greater than my Earlier reels which have a 4 :1 ratio compared to 5:1 For the New Diwa's . The Bearing system seems to allow for well mannered retrievals. And Fish handling . In the short time I have used the Diwa's I have Caught several Salt water Fish over 30 pounds and several winter Carp over 20lb on 10 pound line no less. now I am more aware of the BIGER carp in the waters I target them I will use my heavier Rod and Reels. Rod reel; and line make a unique action to make huge fish on light line great fun. My largest Fish on 4 pound test was in 1959 Tring Reservoir Hertfordshire England a Mammoth 24lb 4.5 ounce Pike Without a wire leader, whilst fishing for bait fish using a #14 British Scale hook (very tiny) . After over an hour battle and seeing only 4 windings on my spool left at one point. This is my most memorable battle EVER.
My rod had a .5 pound rating to 1/4 curve and was 14 ft long. not a monster killer setup but it worked to soften the lunges this fish gave me. A "Stiff rod can be counter productive, and not always Great. A reel is

Overall this was a cheap small reel that I could throw on an ultralight rod for hiking. I really wanted to like it but here are my thoughts:

Likes:
- small profile
- foldable handle
- color matches my rod

Disklikes:
- a little on the heavy size for a small reel
- isn’t really smooth

I actually opened it up and cleaned/regrease and oil the parts which made it a lot smoother but still can be upgraded with better bearings. I really wanted to keep this but unfortunately I didn’t check until I had already done all the cleaning that the reel foot was too short for my rod (and any that I own). It is still loose even when you tighten the reel seat all the way down so I had to return it.

I wanted an additional reel but it looks like I’m going to have to just put my 1000 stradic ci4+ on my hiking rod, the color scheme is totally off but I guess I’ll just have to live with it until I find something else.

Purchased 2 - SDS2000 reels for saltwater baitfish such as Pinfish, Grunts, Blue Runners etc. Took out of box when received, reels looked to be excellent quality, and operation was very smooth. 1st usage, reel #1 anti - reverse stopped working. 2nd usage, reel #2 bail had to be closed by hand after every cast. Lubed both reels, and still have same problems...and yes...reels were thoroughly rinsed before, and after using. I wouldn't expect $20 reels to last an extended period of time, but I certainly didn't expect them both to fail within a week. So once again, I am in the market for baitfish reels. Damn shame, good looking reels, if they only could have operated like they did out of the box for a year, I would have been very impressed. My gamefish reels are Shimano Stradics, shouldn't have skimped on the baitfish reels. Feedback is what sold me, very high positive rating....my luck I happen to get 2 reels from a bad production run. Knew it was too good to be true.

The Diwa 1000 is an excellent product, you cannot beat the price for this ultralight spinner! It is smooth, functions very well using 2lb. mono line; it also looks great with any color rod scheme.

Purchased 2 of these. One came out of box, during 2nd use I fell and landed on reel. Sadly It bent. Up till then it seemed fine with no issues.

Got 2nd one out and put on rod. Ordered a third one. Didn't get back out till after third one came.
This time out I noticed 2nd reel seemed to grind quite a bit when reeling...like bearings were already bad??
Checked 3rd one and it seemed same way as 2nd one...like someone put bad bearings in it.
Opened them up to switch bearings from one I bent to one of the others...no wonder....plastic JUNK!!
I managed to salvage first set into one of the others, but a lot of money spent and wasted.

Sadly didn't catch the "diwa" vs "diawa" name switch...so good ole bait tactics in play here!!!
