Alright....lets see em! Your largest catch so far this year. Give us the who / what / when.
No offense but I am more interested in the Photoshop work. That is tight!
Nice bass too though, my biggest this year was only about 4 pounds and I am a little south of you. Last weekend on a buzzbait.
J
10lbs-11ozs on a 10" swimbait. Also caught a 10lb10ozer about a week and a half before this.
They don't call me the Dinkmaster for nothing.
I'm probably at a pound or a pound and a half on the largemouth side...I'm giving burley a run for his title "dinkmaster".
However my smallmouth is at 2 pounds plus....caught yesterday(5-24-08)
I think i target smallmouths more than i do largemouths.
0lbs 0oz Im still hunting for my first catch. Learning as I go tho. Im getting alot of bites lately. The first one should be coming this summer!
And I picked up on your photoshop skills as soon as I saw that picture. Ive worked in Graphic Arts and was raised on adobe programs. If you arent in the graphic art field, you should look into it. Thats a nice layout.

Show off. just shut up. DO NOT SAY ANOTHER STINKIN' WORD!

it wasnt mine but...
when i was a boy, three of us were out in a cartopper untangling lines and after we had gotten the two untied we noticed one rod missing. a quick scan around the area showed a butt of a rod waving in the air, caught on some weeds. my friend grabbed it and reeled to find an 8 lbs largie. and for Canada thats no slouch!
So far the biggest Bass caught was about a 1/2 pounder i'd say. About 8 inches long but it fought like hell. I'd lose my pants if i pulled in a bass as big as you guys are showing in the pics... Minus dinksters though... HA HA HA.
6lb largemouth
My largest this year is 7.8lbs. I didn't have a camera with me because I caught it bankfishing during my lunchbreak I've got to convince my wife to let me keep the digital camera in my tacklebox lol.
My largest is in my avatar, 6.5lbs.
4lbs this year, not bad for Wisconsin
Mine's 4-7. I got it a couple of weeks ago.
Mine was a 5lb 2 oz Largemouth caught on a White Strike King .38 Special on Douglas Lake in East TN back in June of 2007.
just under 4
not really post worthy but i'm very proud of this catch as my ridiculous determination paid off on it
rainbow trout bass assassin, wouldn't have it anyother way as i couldn't get a fish off it for a long time and sure enough it paid off when nothing else worked, another reason i'm very proud of this particular catch.
I don't have a picture of mine, but I have caught a 3lb spotted bass, out on clear lake, ca. a couple weeks ago. Wasn't huge, but it took that wacky rigged watermelon with red flake, and ran! It was on a brush pile, back on corinthian bay, just west of the county park. It was a real pretty fish, the deepest emerald green you could imagine, and dark, black lines, and spots. I have yet to get a largemouth this year! I fish a lot of underwater trees, and such.
Always remember, large mouths like to hide under heavy structure! Docks, near boat ramps, and under heavy brush piles. And they typically bite in water, with a temperature of 50-70 degrees! They will be recognized by an olive color in murky water, and a darker shade of green in clearer water. Their lower jaw extends to the middle of the eye. Where as the spotted and small mouth only to the front of the eye.
Just some info for those whom don't know, or havent researched this! I just found out most of this, just a few weeks ago, when I realized I had pictures from last year of a 4.6lb female... Which I thought was a large mouth, but is, indeed, a spotted! That's my biggest bass, and my first bass that year, on an ultra light cherry rod, and a 1" white thumper tail grub, and 1/32oz crappie jig. What a fight it was on 4lb line! I almost lost her in the brush!
I can't find the pic but here is a link. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=33967413&albumID=488561&imageID=28233733
Caught on a 6' Lake Fork Tackle Co. Watermelon Seed Crawdad
El crappo photo :-/
My best this year 9lbs 4 oz. on a Husky Jerk-14
8.5+ (just guessing, never weighed) and 23".
As you can see, on a white 1/4oz Fleck spinnerbait. And it hit with that amount of line out. Didn't have to reel once. 8-)
I caught the 6 lber in my avatar in prime spawning time for us down here in georgia and then about 1 and half weeks ago i caught a 9 lber on a bluegill bed with a blue black laminate 5 inch senko that thing pulled like a hoss, im a little too lazy to post a pic of it lol
im still in my hunt for the DD

If that was a Tennessee hat you would look exactly like Bill Dance. :-?
My largest for this year: One on the left side was right at 7 lbs. and the one on the right was 5. Both caught on beds with flukes. Caught several others between 5-6 lbs, but 7 is the biggest so far this year.
My buddy has not sent me the pics yet...6-15.
My PB this year:
8lb
I didnt weigh it but it felt kinda heavy. Also please notice that I didnt stretch it toward the camera, I kept it close to my heart b/c it was love at first sight.

Haha! I thought the same thing!
There is no lie about it i thought it was bill dance on the forums until i saw the the hat.
<=thats pry the best one there, according to paper it was 5.5, but could have easily gone 6. I had one on my line on fork that was probably about a 9+, but i messed up... :-[
9lbs 1oz, March '07, on a spinnerbait.
I am having my best year ever. Here are my two biggest so far
Mattlures....dude!
My PB is 5.2 lbs, caught June 29th of last year.
Mattlures..........................Wow!
Great fish Matt, what'd they weigh?
Not mine....my buddy wanted me to post this for him.
This isn't much, but it's my largest largemouth and I'm proud of it. 3lbs. 5oz caught on a t-rigged creature bait.
Nice catch Teria! It's not the size of the fish, it's the fight, and finding out, that you just landed something bigger than a 1lber!
Matt my fiance was just looking at your swimbaits(had to show her after she came and saw those bass) she told me to tell you thats the most realistic amazing bait she has ever seen.
I caught this a couple days ago off a 2 inch jitterbug at a pond. 18 inches probably around 2-3 pounds. I'll start weighing them;)
I'm going tomorrow to try some senkos and jigs!
No pic, ya'll are just gonna have to trust me on this one ! 7lb 15oz, this spring on grn pumkin Brush Hog...
As Ever,
skillet
Biggest this year so far...fingers crossed.
7 lbs. 8 oz. Lake Guntersville, Alabama
A nice 6 1/2 lber on a rage frog pulling it over some thick coontail
jhoffman tell her I said thank you!
unfortunatly I dont think my pictures do the fish justice, especialy the first one. It was a big fish it was aprox 26 1/2in
The second fish looks big but in the picture it looks kinda short because I am bending it. It was also soo thick and fat that it looks a little short but it was not. I estimated its length to be about 27 1/2-28 inches. I marked my rod and checked when I got home. I now keep a tape measure with me. The big one is my new PB. 17.2
my smallest this year...
i dont know weight was,but its was 4-5 inches long so id guess 3-4 ounces.
biggest was probably just over 2 pounds
Holy crap Mattlures! What lake???
My biggest, although I didnt weigh it, was probably around 3.5-4lbs. White spinnerbait through some millfoil.
Woo Hoo My first DD
-12 lbs
6.8 on a private pond at work. I spend a few hours after work and generally pull in around 20 with half of them going 3lbs +. Still waiting to hook that hawg I see chasing those lil' bluegills in the weed cove. I love this job!
biggest iv got it a 6lb spawner. i fish only golf courses by foot. but i just got me a jon boat for 28$ so all that just might change!
This year in April, 7lbs 1 oz. Lake Chesdin, Va. off a 4 inch Senko.
Largest LM is 7 pounds 1 oz, caught on a buzzbait just this past week.
No pic, cause I'm an idiot and didn't bring one cause I was only going fish for an hour. Turns out that in that 1 hour I caught the best fish of my life so far.
9lb, 10oz.....Thrill of a lifetime.
It scaled out at 13lb 4 oz biggest one ever for me ... only had a cell phone camera... dang it ;D
biggest this year is avatar. my PB was a 6 1/2 pounder caught about 2 years ago. no pics :-[
My personal best was this year May 23. I caught my first double digit largemouth. It weighed in at 10lb 2oz but by the length I thought it was heavier (around 28in). I caught it on a Zoom lizard, T-rigged with a 3/16oz LEAD bullet weight. I was using a Shimano Stradic 2500 with 10lb Yozuri Hybrid on a 6'8'' St.Croix Avid M X-Fast.
