For those of you who don't know Ryan (senko77) let me tell you a little about him. He is a 17 year old bass fishing phenom who has more natural talent than anyone I have ever fished with. He has taken the BFL Bulldog Division by storm this year with one win and 3 top 15 finishes this year. Along with a Big Bass award for a 10lb 4oz monster. The young man can flat out fish.

Well I'm just about to hit the bed, but I wanted to give a quick update.
I practiced today and found a really nice bite flipping a jig. That was what most other anglers were doing, but a few really got on them fishing hydrilla mats on the edge of Eufaula's deep ledges. I'm hoping to flip a jig all day and get a few quality bites to advance me to day 2 and to allow me to keep 1st place. I also got the opportunity to meet one of our members, NtroJack. He was extremely nice and had some really encouraging words. Bassresource is everywhere!!!
Well, I gotta get some sleep. Thanks again for the support, and an update will follow as soon as I get off the water. Hopefully the report will come from my hotel room that I needed for an extra night!!!

For those of you that haven't seen it yet, Ryan caught 2 fish at like 3+ making him place at like 47th. Even though he did not make the cut for the next day, the guy that he was competing with for AOY (angler of the year) didn't catch anything so Ryan has won the AOY!
