What's the biggest bass you've caught? Let's see some pictures!
Pics of PB's for a lot of the older guys, like myself, may not be possible. I would say my top 10 or so PB's were caught back in the day when we didn't have cameras on our phones. I did get pics of my best fish from the last couple years though. Both were caught at LOZ from the same creek 1 year apart. Both of them were taken sight fishing while on beds so I got a quick pic and released both without weighing.
Last years (top) took about half an hour to catch. This years (bottom) only took about 5 or 6 pitches before she'd seen enough.
5-12
PB was caught last year on a black and blue flappin' hog just pitched into the pads she hit it on the fall and the picture doesnt do her justice she was at least 6
I don't have pictures of my PB, they were all ruined including the negatives when a broken water pipe flooded the room where I kept that stuff, in those days there were no digital pics available. She was 6.600 kg ( 14.52 lbs ), I do have a pic of my 2nd largest:
13.5 lbs ( 6.14 Kg )
Dang Dwight! Both are GREAT fish but that "Smallie" is a FREAKIN' SLOB!!! We don't grow 'em like that around here.

Well? No pics from you?
Glenn? I don't think he even fishes for bass. Pretty sure he's into trout.
No picture as it was a long time ago (9/14/74). It's not that we didn't have cameras on our cell phones, we had no cell phones. Anyway, best was 14.1. Caught an 11.3 short while later and at least 50 over 8 in the same small pond. In recent years biggest has been 13.5. Really don't fish for bass as often as I used to as I have become addicted to snook. Only fish for bass from usually December thru March, usually getting 5 or 10 over 8.
It's not that I'm that good a fisherman, it's just that I have been doing this a long time and live in west central Florida. I'm sure you could do the same under the same circumstances.
Here are a couple of pictures of what I think was the largest smallmouth I've taken here in MA. I've definitely taken bigger largemouths, but I can't seem to find the pics? Oh well, here's a nice smallie (2 pics, same fish):
PB freshwater striper, only striper in the reservoir, actually! 14# (and yes, I released it, to the dismay of the fisheries biologist who wanted to check its age and all that).
This lady was 7.5# caught during spawn in thick salad.
Didn't get a weight but she's my biggest so far. That's my 10W for reference.
No pictures of my PB, she was 13.8
Here's a couple of Hawgs of mine & my grandson Aiden.
For reference I'm 6' tall
The last one is a personal best cause she won me $5,000!

OOOOHHHH!!!!!
Never mind then.

That's because there aren't any bass in that state. He uses a green board when he makes his videos and just crops the images of him standing in his boat out in the driveway. ? He learned that trick from a former member.
Some good looking PBs. The only thing a big belly looks good on is a bass and there are lots of them in this thread!

Not that there's anything wrong with that, right?
Except for the trout part.
That just ain't right.
Glenn's gonna kill me for that, lol.

Delete the whole thread and tell him he must be getting old or something and only imagined he started it.

The clock is tickin' ....
This one went 5-12, even though it doesn't look like it. I know I look drunk, but it was 98 degrees out, towards the end of a long day.
This went 8-1, and was a PB for less than 24hrs. And then....
This 9-1 became my PB...
Interestingly enough, this 11 - 11 LMB was actually caught this date (11/11) a few years ago.
This SMB PB went 6-4.
And for another coincidence, BR member Dwight Hottle took both these pics.

Don't have an answer ... haven't caught mine yet ?.
I'm sure everyone has seen this photo since it goes back to 2012 - 9.54 pounds:
The story is here:
I didn't get a weight, but definitely my biggest largemouth, my sister hand measured it to about 24". I guessed 6 or 7 but I don't know.
Jeff
My PB Florida strain largemouth bass was 19.3 lbs, caught 5 May 1994 lake Castiac on a hair jig.
Tom
My largest is 11lbs in my avatar and here are a few of the 10's I caught.
heres my pb, i hand measured it to about 7.83 pounds
I'll never know her official weight, but she was a giant and I'll never forget it. (and since length and girth put her at 10.4 I like to tell myself I've caught a DD bass!)
My PB smallmouth only weighed 4.2lbs but she was 23" long, old as dirt, and one mean son of a gun!
I don't have a photo of my PB smallmouth but have this one a 5-13. The largemouth is an 8-15.
Smallie: 3lb 11 oz
Largemouth: 5 lb
My overall PB
My US PB
My smallmouth PB
My 11.12 (that's about 11-2) was caught this May on Toledo.
Here are a couple posts about it.

Best post of the whole thread
My personal best LMB is 7.12: didn't get a pic. Here are a few of my bigger bass. All around 5-6 pounds.
And, my PB smallmouth didn't deserve a weight. I've only caught a couple lmao
24" caught 2 years ago. It was a hoot.
There are some hawgs and toads on this thread. Ridiculous. Pretty obvious that most of these largemouth bass are from the south, not the north.
5lbs 8oz Manitoban Smallie, I have never caught a Large Mouth

I have never caught a smallmouth........LIKE THAT!!!
Very Nice!!
First fish was my biggest.App. 9 pounds.Caught on a grape Mann's jelly worm when I was 19.
Second fish is my best in the last 10 years.Scale was on the blink so not sure of the weight.Caught this one on a small watermelon seed fluke.
My personal best went 8-4, but I was by myself so the pictures weren't that great. 2 weeks later, I caught an 8-0 while playing guide to a friends sister, so we got a much better picture.

Nice!! I would love to see them! I didn't see a "bass only" disclaimer and I have an appreciation for all big fish.
Last week. Guessing ~3lbs. Scales are on the Christmas list. Loving the late Fall bite, while slow, I've got them dialed in at this spot.
Honrable mention today:
Personal best so far. Big Momma was too big for my little electronic scale.
My guess is 8 to 10 pounds easy.
^^ That's a great pic! Nice fish! ^^
Maine Largemouth

23.5 inches long
19.5 inch girth
Aged at 19+ years old
Vermont Smallie

PB smallie. No clue on the weight. Long skinny fish. Caught on the Upper Potomac (Great Falls).
my PB was only 19 inches at 3 1/2 pounds.no pic thoigh
Just a few.
7.2lb Large Mouth Bass.
38 1/2" Striper caught in the Ct River.
33 1/2" Atlantic salmon caught Ice out in May on Congamond Lake.
No weights on the Striper and salmon, after a long battle I needed to get them back in the water to be caught again.
Woah!
7 lbs 4 oz at Sailboat Lake in Deerfield Beach, FL on January 23, 2017 during my lunch hour with a colleague and boss standing next to me. Before landing this one we had only been catching dinks.
Welcome aboard!
9.75 on a full size Junebug Brush Hog.
My son took the picture and hung it on HIS wall!!
Mike
Best Smallie 6.87lbs.
4.5lbs large mouth two summers ago. Caught on a white chatter bait. Only caught a few the whole day and they were all barely a pound. I thought that was pretty big for an Iowa bass on a public pond.
Before I had a scale.Somewhere between 6-7.I wish I had people to take pictures for me sometimes.Picking it up I thought 8 initially.
1980. I fished a Western Bass tournament (which I think morphed into Redman Pro-Am) on Lake Comanche in Ca and caught a 9.lb 4oz. I was 19yo. If there ever was a picture it's probably long gone. It wasn't the big fish and I didn't finish in the money. Caught it on a blue Big-O. Since then, I've had a few around 5lb. 5 seems to be the magic number around here.
I couldn't find a pic but this is about the size of the monster I caught last year.
Last year on a bluegill swim bait!
Here is my PB, and I caught her on what started out as a cold, rainy, windy April day. For some reason, I picked up the rod that I had an AC Minnow tied on and after catching a 5lber, I didn't put it down. And man, did it pay off!

Yeah, about that...
I wish I lived somewhere with double digit bass! These pics are awesome. My PB is a 6.04 largemouth, which is pretty good sized for around here.
LM bass. 8lbs 3 ozs.
LM bass 6lbs 4 ozs.
Broke my PB a bunch of times this week. This is my new PB.
9lbs 13oz, only 3 ounces short of the elusive double digit.
February 2nd, 2017
For me Largemouth 8.7 lbs. and smallmouth 7.02 lbs both came out of Delavan Lake in Wisconsin, one of the lakes I did guide on.
who says fat ladies aren't nice! enjoyed seeing the fish and the smiles they brought. makes the rest of us get that cant wait feeling on hanging in to there next pb keep bringing them guys.
Pretty sure this is the one of my pb. I have so many pictures of the fish I catch since I take 1 of every one I catch, even for only fishing for 1/2 a season I've still acquired quite a few.
Nothing to write home about, but if I'm not mistaken on the pic weight was around 2.6 but I fully intend on breaking my pb record this year.
Just caught my pb last week on a square bill. He was 7.13.
all nice fish boys. my personal best Larry is 9.8 caught in Bateman pond Carlisle mass. bass was caught is 2002 I have to find the pic or it didn't happen. she was over 24" and a chunk caught on a finesse jig in early April.
