Lets pretend bass fishing manufactures read BR religiously and take members input to heart. If you could tell them something you would like to see then here's your chance.
Come on man! Put a premium hook on your hard bait the first time and don't cheap it.
Come on man! Take your six best selling colors in your plastics and offer it in bulk packs to reduce cost per bait and reward your loyal customers.
Come on man! If you make a split grip spinning rod put the hook/dropshot weight holder on the rear like the Tatula 73MS
Come on man! Make spools of line in 420 yards so I can fill six reel spools with 70 yards each.
Come on man! Just put the other bearings in the handle grip and the bail roller.
Your turn.

They took it off most of the best ones. I'm a backreeler too. Hope they'll put it back on!

My favorite spinning reels are Quantum’s. They took off the switch too a few years ago. I’m not a back reeler, but it thought it was essential for convenience for me. I learned to deal with it, now they are bringing the switch back.
Stop painting the blade on bladed jigs for EVERY color! Or if you do, offer it with painted and unpainted blades. Looking at you ZMan/Evergreen. I'd have a more Jackhammers if i could get a couple of those colors with gold blades....Specifically GP and BHite.
My that's my current, biggest pet peeve ...but hey, it's saving me some money at least!
EDIT: I got another one for online retailers....List the blade size on spinnerbaits! It's the most important feature of the bait and everything else is the same....I don't need to know about the space-age wires they mined from an asteroid (AKA the same wire every other one uses), tell me how big the blades are!
Interesting concept ~ I'll play . .
First I like the no anti-reverse Shimano spinners - not a back reeler so that switch is useless for me.
While I can pretty much echo most everything noted above,
I'd like to see a True "Tangle Free" landing net that weighs in at something less than my boat anchor.
The remainder of the items on my wish list come from the 'You Must Be Dreaming' category.
So I could really use . . .
New & Improved GoPro Batteries that last 4 hours each and recharge in 30 minutes.
A 200 HP out board motor with a super charger on it, that runs on lake water.
A Lund Pro-V Bass Boat made with a Carbon Fiber hull.
A pocket size 'line infuser' that magically bonds braid & mono/FC leaders with NO KNOT:
and at 150 % line / knot strength.
A Soft plastic and especially a paddle tail swimbait, that's effective yet impervious to toothy critter attacks.
A superior Cloaking device Incorporated into my Humminbird unit which would effectively make me invisible to all the jet skis and pontoon boats who once they spot me , invariably simply must come close by and visit.
And finally, I'll need the new Minn Kota Bow Mounted Rocket Launcher, for those special moments when I really need one.

I bought my daughter a lady's Ugly Stik combo about 6 years ago. The reel had no anti-reverse. I hadn't seen that on any reel before this one and assumed it was a cheap reel feature, or lack thereof. She never fishes and if she did, she wouldn't remember that she owns a combo anyway. So I took the reel off and put on one of my late dad's rods. I actually like it.
Come on man! If you're going to make a reel and bling it out, just put the rhinestones on it and get it over with.
C’mon Man, when you make a spinnerbait make one more turn of the wire and close off the r-bend into an enclosed loop!!
C'mon man, when you have a product that people like, leave it alone. It's ok to add new stuff but time has shown how much people like the older shimano reels etc. I personally would never buy another reel if lews would drop their original tournament pro from a few years back. Not the best reel necessarily but excellent at everything for a bargain

I agree with a lot of the above. Most of my c’mon man moments are when something I’m used to and works for me changes. Sometimes it changes for the better but a lot of times it doesn’t.

It can be pretty handy to “know a guy”!
C'mon, Shimano! Get that tiny little adjustment wheel off your casting reels and put one on that's big enough to see and adjust easily! Daiwa did it, why can't you?
And while you're at it, make your pawl covers accessible in the field (like the ABU reels) so I can keep the pawl lubed anytime.
Also: bring back the lube port on your spinning reels, like on the Ci4+ FA series. jj
C'mon man! If I'm paying premium for tungsten sinkers, is it too much to ask for them to have the weights printed/stamped on them? I've seen a few with them, but not many. Honestly would be nice to see on lead sinkers and baits as well.
C’mon man! Just make a simple affordable trolling motor that has spotlock and feedback/cable drive on the foot pedal without any of the other expensive tech junk that no one actually uses so you can keep it affordable. I don’t need the thing to make an unmanned trip to the moon, just to pull me around the lake and stay in one position when I want to.
Come on man! Don't just down size your existing baits so you can call them a ned rig bait.
Come on man! Stop building Alamaba rigs so they are so large Search and Rescue buys them to drag for drowning victims.

Yes, and why not jig-heads too? When you’re out in the wind/waves digging thru tackle trays looking for just the right jig - sometimes a 1/2 oz tungsten jig head can look the same size as a 3/8 oz lead. I’ll admit to going home that night and putting jigs on a postage scale and marking them with a Sharpie for next time, but it eventually rubs off...
C'mon man don't offer 60 different reels - focus on a few and give us all the different gear ratios. Looking at you Daiwa and your growing lineup.
C'mon man, it's great I now have a 25:1 gear ratio reel to reel in a spinnerbait in two turns of the handle but we could actually use some reels that have lower gear ratios for cold weather and crankbaits.

For real, my keitechs take up so much space.
But a cheap trolling motor with spot lock is all I really need. Spot lock costs more than my boat
Come on man! Design a bass boat with a self driving feature so I can sleep while running the 30 minutes to the other end of the lake. Tesla owners are doing it. Why not me?

Come on, man!! If you’re gonna powder paint your jigs, the least you could do is pop out the paint covering the hook eye for me. And to make things worse I have a jig buster but I can only seem to find it when I don’t need it.
I know, I ought to look at them before going out, but come on.

Come on man, design me some horizontal rod storage that'll connect to a kayak crate lid.

Yes! And true weight at that! I bought a small electronic scale a while back, and you might be surprised. Anal? You bet.
Also, buoyancy (along with diving depth) on diving hardbaits would be helpful: Positive, neutral, neg: -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3.
More full-sized lightweight (1/4oz or less) lipless cranks. With true weights; You'd be surprised.
"Sebile" (now Pure Fishing) dropped the FlattShad 1/2oz! Are they crazy???!!
Some powerful fully Moderate action rods. I think they could take over the industry.
Most hook manuf have gone this way, esp Japanese companies, but micro-barbs are fish savers. Cheap hooks with mega-barbs, like all we had in the old days- are just... barbarous.

Mine hold four rods: Two at 45deg off back of holder, 2 vertical. ABS glued so rod tips point inward, keeping them out of the way of all casting angles except perfectly vertical. Works well for me. Never know they are there. (Except when a lure comes rocketing back at me.????) My yak has recessed rod holders just behind the seat, so it's an easy mod.

Can you get them directly behind the seat? A minor challenge to reach... maybe 5 there sans the middle one? You do have more beam than my yak does. Just a thought.

Sure - if I don't want to be able to work the TM...also I'll be adding another rod-rack to the starboard side since I now have 7 rigs with more in the planning stage.

That's definitely an option. Personally I don't like doing that. It shouldn't be hard for a company to add a hook keeper to the rod.
I'm not paying 8 dollars for something that rips in half during a cast after catching one fish.
I will stick with a certain company that has a Y in it's name.

Don't blame you. I think I have like two rods that have a hook keeper that I like the way it's set up. It's just not something that enters into my thinking when I'm shopping for rods now because I've done it this way for so long.
