I think I read this on here once before but I for got. What is your favorite thing to take with you on the boat to eat while fishing. I usually take a ham sandwich and some chips and a Pepsi. One of my buddies told me a guy he know takes a hole bucket of chicken from KFC when he goes and eats on it all night, just puts it under the console.

I dont bring anything to eat.I fish then and eat later,However I have to have the mt. dew and coke.

I take a couple of fruit bars and a couple snack-size boxes of raisins. I take some water but usually don't drink it unless it's really hot (no head in the canoe!).
I spend as much as 6 to 8 hours in the canoe - if the bite is good, I'm usually too busy to think of eating. When the bite slows, then I grab the munchies...

If I am fishing for a few hours, just gatorade, if for tournament, 2 Cliff bars, 2 granola bars, 4 waters, 2 gatorades. And a Snickers almond bar.
Something that became a tradition for my Dad and I was peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. I almost never eat them at home or anywhere else for that matter. We did a considerable amount of saltwater fishing when we both lived in Seattle and I don't really remember how it came to be but we never went out for a day of fishing without our PB&J.

Are you talking an all day snackin kind of list ? 4 Turkey and Ham wraps, a dozen chocolate chip cookies, 2 pounds of trail mix, ( the kind with M and M's in it ) Quaker granola bars, bag of peanuts in the shell, Jerky, jar of smoked salmon, 2 cans of Pepsi, 4 bottles of water and two bottles of Gatorade. If you've ever had kidney stones you would understand. Whoops ! Thats my list for sturgeon trips. For bass it's a stick of gum.
Raw fish. Usually catfish but the occasional lake hammerhead.

The Humminbird 998 I got this spring was just too complicated; so I replaced it with a fondue pot. If I ever catch anything, I'm gonna just dip it in cheese and eat it right there.

I usually make up about 1/2 doz. Ritz crackers with peanut butter for my mid-morning snack (hopefully I'll be too busy to actually eat a snack) and then I carry a ham & cheese sandwich in the cooler, along with plenty of Gatoraide.

Rice Crispy Treats, Oatmeal Cream Pies, Water Bottles, Pay Day, occasionally Gatorade. Sweets are just to give me energy, but i will go through 2 bottles of water an hour and never need to pee

Usually some sandwiches and a couple of apples in a cooler. If its going to be a long day, I'll cook some hot dogs and take them with me in a thermos.
In the morning - XL Tim Hortons and maybe some timbits, if I'm fishing with the FiL it will be a large box.
In the afternoon - water and trail mix.
I pretty much always bring the same thing it seems.
Standard, store-bought trail mix with Craisins and cashews added, a blue Gatorade, an ice-water thermos, and a 5 Hour Energy shot.
water/gatorade, PB n J, pretzels/cheeze-its, granola bars......pretty much anything snack sized. I usually windup dont eathing much of it, till the ride home.

I never know what I'll be hungry for so I like to take a variety. In my water tight lunch box I carry Lance crackers, butterfingers, Mr. Goodbars, maybe a Landshire chicken salad sandwich. In the cooler I'll carry a few beers, lots of water, a couple of gator aids, couple of Starbucks doubleshots and a couple of Carnation Instant Breakfast chocolate milk drinks.

nice! next time im up that way , ill have to check it out. i love the ones that open early. there is one on the way to my work that opens at 5:30 am 8-). cafe con leche or colada , toast and a papa relleno and im ready to work lol.
It's right there on Miramar Pkwy and Dykes. In the same shopping center as CVS. Tati's Bakery. Just says Bakery outside of it though. Right next to the Gamestop. Food and video games in one shot, fantastic.

I make home made Jerky from a beef butt roast 6-7 pounds at a time and ALWAYS have 2Lbs in the boat with me...and a staple in my boat is quaker oats brand "Chewy dips" chocolate chip, chocolate covered granola bars. I snake all day when on the water I never just eat and the last snack thats ALWAYS in the boat is a zip lock gallon size bag with Dig'ums AKA sugar smacks cereal man I love those things dry lol... heck im eatting some now
Last but not least given the right creek arm and no other boats around my wife god I love her little snack.

Pistachios are definitely addictive. Like Abby from NCIS said, "Have you ever seen anybody eat just one?"
