Quotebass pro's, bass edge, and hook n look.
X2
I've stop watching fishing shows,if i want info i come here.
Classic Patterns or the Bass Pros.
before i leave the house on sat morning i gotta watch bill dance
Now that I get the Versus channel I can finally watch fishing every day! Here's my top 3:
1)City Limits, hands down
2)The Bass Pros
3)Can't beat good ol' Bill Dance!
(my new number 1 will be the show Ike is trying to put together for the upcoming year )
I like Classic patterns and Scott Martin Challange
T
Bass Pros
Bill Dance
In-Fisherman
Bill Dance and Bass Pro
Gotta say Bill Dance. I like City Limits too, but a lot of times he isn't bass fishing so I'm not really into it. The Bass Pros is probably the most informative.
Bill Dance
Tred Barta
Rowland Martin
City Limits
Anything But.....
1)Bill Dance
2) Roland Martin
3) Jimmy Houston
They had their day. But LORD! Retire. Bill Dance fishing a private stocked pond every week yanking big bass is not informative. Roland. SON! Pour Jimmy laughing like he lost his mind while kissing fish. NO!!
I like the Bass Pro's and The Hunt for Big Fish. Good pointers and information from basics to completely out of the box.

Probably city limits. I like the Scott Martin Challenge and Hook 'n Look as well.
I like City Limits, but I record them so I can watch the ones that look interesting and delete the others. For some reason, I can't stand Fish TV.
Scott martin challenge
Classic Patterns
The Bass Pros
Fish PAA
Bass Edge
I like any show that isn't an infomercial and done on private waters. It's more entertaining to see anglers struggle and figure them out than to have a guide in the camera boat. I noticed Bassmaster and FLW Outdoors didn't get any love. The World's Greatest Fishing Show with Mark Zona can be a kick if you like seeing a guy who missed taking his medication.
Gotta love bill dance
City limits
Bassmaster classic
Hank parker
Any fishin show will catch my attention
wish i got VS i only get outdoor tv. Seems like they have 6 days and 20 hours of hunting program a week. I would say my favorites of the limited selection i have is Pro Team Journal, Fish TV, and Bass Pro
I love bass but I'm a multispecies guy, so In Fisherman TV is my favorite by far but I like just about any fishing show.
bass pros, city limits, in fisherman, next bite, hook n look, one more cast, hunt for big fish with Larry D,
i really like shows where they explain what there doing.
1. bass pros
2. one more cast (his gomer pyle routine annoys me)
3.in fisherman
Strike King Pro Team Journal
City Limits
Bass Pros
Bill Dance
I don't really have a favorite. I look forward to Friday nights though. Versus and The Outdoor channel are nothing but fishing.
But my top five would be:
Hunt For Big Fish with Larry D
City Limits
Bass Pros
Roland Martin
Classic Patterns
Hunt for Big Fish w/ Larry Dahlberg
#1-Hook "n" Look
#2-Angler's Edge
#3-Bass Pros
#4-Bassmasters Elite Series
#5-FLW Outdoors

City Limits is my favorite. I also like Hook n Look.
City Limits is tops
Fishing Hawg Country, a local show, couple of regular guys yukking it up in NW Arkansas.

I got WFN all fishing all the time. ;D
Angling Edge
Classic Patterns
In-Fishermen
Bass Pros
Next Bite
I like shows that give technical information I can use.
Lunkerville!
Bass Edge and The Facts of Fishing
Classic Patterns gets my vote, with a Fish PAA coming a close second. Thank God for DVR!
ps/ I usually watch 'em all anyway!
City Limits.
Bass Edge.
Nice Fish.
I've become a pretty big fan of City Limits. I love Ike's enthusiasm and the fact that it depicts the real results on the water, not the "success" stories of the stocked ponds where everything is a 5+. There is also a show on VS where they have the pros on. Cant think of the name of it but that's pretty decent as well.
Bass Pro and of course Lunkerville!
QuoteClassic PatternsThe Bass Pros
Fish PAA

great list
I can only watch Lunkerville online, but it is the best show. I wish I got WFN.
i've got WOW basic cable, so i'll watch whatever is on foxsports detroit, espn, or espn2
wgfs with mike zona!
My favorite:
> Lindner's Angling Edge (Al & Jim Lindner)
> Hunt For Big Fish (Larry Dahlberg)
Also Interesting:
> Bill Dance
> Scott Martin Challenge
Roger
Lindear angling edge(most informative show on)
The bass pros
Hunt for big fish
lindlers angling edge and bass pro's and bill dance
Lunkerville, City Limits, an Classic Patterns
awesome shows
City Limits Fishing gets my vote. Having grown up in Brooklyn NY I consider myself an "urban angler" like Ike. The show is fun to watch and informative as well. I learned a lot about patterns, and switching baits often to match the local forage.
To this day my favorite episode is City Limits fishing New York. Ike catches a bluefish by the United Nations and the same day catches a Largemouth in Central park. That is the variety I have experienced and love about this state.
Worlds Greatest Fishing Show
Linders Angling Edge
Bass Pro's
I like Zona's show because he's entertaining which is unique, and I like the other two because they are usually very in-depth and try to help us UNDERSTAND what is happening.
I used to like In Fisherman but now it has to be the LEAST informative show on tv, and as a result has become a show that I refuse to watch. A couple of weeks ago they were fishing in October on the Mississippi, which is where I fish so I thought I could gather a couple of tips, but all they could talk about was the new Rapala crankbait. They didnt mention once anything about the location, current, cover, structure, depth... but they sure had enough time to say the same thing about that crankbait over and over and over and over.
top 2 entertaining fishing shows.
city limits. didn't like it a first, Ike kinda got on my nerves. but the dude grows on ya and now its my fav to watch.
gillznfinz - goofy mofo's
I watch pretty much all of them. I try to take bits and pieces of information that I can use from each show. I know Bill Dance gets beat up because of where he fishes, but for a newer angler, he gives a good bit of detail about what he is doing, and why he is doing it, including water temperature, water clarity, barometer readings, etc.
Jimmy Houston and Roland Martin are my least favorites, but both of them hand out some good pieces of information, if you can wade thru the infomercial to get it. JMHO.
Bass pros is probably my favorite along with Lindner's Angling edge.
I get cable, so the only ones that are ever on are WGFS with Zona (stupid), Spanish Fly (sucks), and Beat Charlie Moore (who decided to make this a show anyway?). So the closest I get to a fishing show is on FS Southwest called Southwest Outdoors Report. Other than that, the Elites are decent sometimes.
Time on the water with Frank Hyla gets my vote. But I'll watch anything except Beat Charlie Moore.
City Limits with Mike Iaconelli is my fav to watch, but It's not informative...
If it wasn't for DVR's and DVD's, I'd go nuts. Here are my lists:
1. The Bass Pro's
2. Strike King Pro's
3. Classic Patterns
4. Day on the Lake
5. Facts of Fishing w/ Dave Mercer
6. Bill Dance
7. Extreme Angler TV w/ Karl Kalonka
And here's what I DON'T watch:
1. Roland Martin
2. Jimmy Houston
3. City Limits
4. Charlie Moore
5. Ultimate Fishing Challenge
bill dance is the only way to go

Those shows coming out of south west Florida are some of the best and most informative on T.V. Jose Wejbe's Spanish Fly used to be much better when it was all from Florida but still keeps me coming back. Charlie Moore's show is very entertaining. I liked it when he was putting up the $5,000 if you beat him. I like to see Roland catching some big bass.
Keyes outdoors!
Linder's Angling Egde
City Limits

I couldn't agree with you more. Still love watching it, but his Florida shows are just much much better to watch.
QuoteAnything But.....1)Bill Dance

3) Jimmy Houston
Haha, for some reason Roland Martin drives me crazy.

BUT.......He's the great american fisherman, he'll fish anywhere, anywhere there's water you know he'll be there
Bill Dance and the In-Fisherman here....been watching them both since I can remember. Although I will say that I get most of my information here, lol.

I dont get WFN, but I've seen it at a friend's house in another state--it is fantastic--fishing shows 24/7!!!

It is really a unique show for sure and I like it. I saw the one you mentioned above and actually was in NYC after that and walked by that pond just to see it.
I also saw a few sporting goods stores not far away that had some fishing equipment in them. I wonder if his show inspired them to carry some fishing equipment?
City Limits...Ike RULES !! 8-)
City limits is great. I also love hook n look cause it shows you how the fish act under water. This has made me so much better at jigging.
Bass Pros and Hank Parker and of course Bill Dance.
Later,
1. hook n look
2 classic patterns
3 bass edge
4 worlds greatest fishing show
5 city limits
Ultimate Match Fishing, City Limits and Reel in the Outdoors
I don't watch fishing shows for information any more, I can find much more doing my own research.
But I do watch them for entertainment so its ether "The Worlds Greatest Fishing Show" or "Ultimate Match Fishing"

I disslike Roland, hank, bill, and jimmy. I don't learn much from them fishing stocked ponds.
Since being able to get back to Versus I have set my DVR to record just about any fishing show I could find... well bass fishing anyways. By far my fav is City Limits Fishing. It seems to be the only goal orientated show. I feel that some of the other shows is all about selling a specific product that wont even work on my home lake.
City Limits.
Can't believe no one has listed "Lost Lake" from WFN. They drop a Bass pro on a lake he's never been on and give him one day to put together a pattern and catch some fish. The step by step thought process they go through I find to be both informative and entertaining...one of the better shows to come along in quite some time.
All the shows on Big Bass Monday on WFN. 8-)
