Being a photographer, I'd love to see photos all of you have taken while out fishing. I'd love to start a great fishing photo story thread and get to see how everyone on BR sees fishing through their own eyes.

Post funny fishing pictures! Post your kids fishing! Post beautiful scenes or any photo that brings back a great memory or says "fishing" to you.

Thanks to Paul Roberts for inspiring me to make this post. Here's just a few images that bring back good memories for me.

You guys are killing me! All this "flatlander" country up here gives our pictures a certain lack of a mountain background.

To make matters worse, the wife has a terrible time with my camera. So here's a few I've taken this summer.

BTW, what kind of cameras are you guys using. These were taken with a Nikon D40. I've got both a 55mm and 200mm lens along with a few other things with it. Next purchase is going to be a tripod of some sort!

Very nice pictures! I have so many that involve fishing and the outdoors that it would be hard to pick one..... That is if I didn't have the one of my late father holding two monster bluefish at the Jersey shore!

not the best pictures , but i can clearly remember taking them. brings back memories.

local lake i frequented in miami.

black point marina in miami. 1/2-3/4 of a mile walk to get there. always had to make it back before high tide came in or you would be wading.

I always get to caught up in the moment and forget to take pictures. I need to work on this. One of my favorite pics is a large tournament taken from the ramp as daylight begins to break. I just think it is the coolest thing all the little lights dancing on the water just before we all blast off.

Being an IT guy you would think I could figure out how to get these pics to fit within the size limit to post. When I get time I will try and figure this out again. I also have a ugliest fish pic I would like to post as well.

Thanks so much Lee. That is Upper Saranac Lake, leaving from Fish Pond Creek. Here is another view, and if I'm not mistaken is Whiteface Mountain in the background. Without the boat spray, the picture would be a cracker.

I'm a picture taker when I'm fishing. I love to be able to go back and remember with pictures. Here are a few pictures from a trip this past weekend up to the Cascade River on the north shore of MN on Superior. My Dad, brother and I were fishing the stream for Rainbows and Brookies. We also tried some dock fishing for Smallmouth but only caught Northerns.

Here are a couple pics from a solo trip I took Friday, September 25, 2009 at Bushy Park just up from the Navel Weapons Station in Goose Creek, SC. I caught 10 fish using a shad wrap; all of them bream except for the one white bass. Viewer beware, cell phone pics...

I really appreciated this thread because it made me look through all of my pictures for my favorites. I have plenty of pics of me on the water holding big bass. I have plenty of pics of my favorite lakes and honey holes. However this thread made me think about which pictures, and which memories I treasure the most.
