Favorite lake picture? Here's mine.
Here's another.
No lake but here's two of my favorite river shots. Potomac.
Sunset from our deck at our camper
The dock in front of the cabin I spend a few weeks in every year. It's my screensaver.
Same dock as the above picture, later the same day.

Cool little set up ya got there
I'm partial to this one. Beautiful remote lake with dreamy cover and enigmatic lunker patterns too... Not just a pretty face!

Don't they all look alike?
Mike, I doubt if you have ever seen this lake! There is no public access to it, and you have to know someone who lives on it to fish it which is why you see a canoe in my photo because I could not launch a boat into this great lake. I had to use what the land owner had available. And since this lake is not very big, paddling around it in a canoe was just fine with me. There is virtually no fishing pressure what so ever on this lake. So very few people ever fish it.
I went to college with the son of a land owner on this lake. We were room mates in college and so I have fished this lake off and on for nearly 30 years now. I wish I had property on this lake! Houses on it are pricey, usually in the $300,000 to $500,000 dollar range and there are less than 20 homes on the lake and only on one portion of it as these photos show untouched shoreline.
And no, it is not Lake Delancy!
I didn't think it was Delancy but it looks like it could be.It looks more like North grasshopper lake which is about 20 miles s of delancy.
Sunrise on Lake Okeechobee. iPhone photo.
The private lake that my buddy lives on in South Carolina
The Mississippi and Salt river in norther n Missouri . The second photo is of my brothers and friends kayaking . they didnt know the hills had eyes . The third pic , I found a dead dear and cut its head off .
This is me in the canoe on one of my little neighborhood lakes last October. I didn't know that someone had taken this photo until I saw it on the front page of our local weekly newspaper as part of a "why we live here" feature. The photographer must have been using a LONG lens since the dam of this lake was quite a ways behind me. I emailed the newspaper and requested a copy of the digital file.

Not so much the lake, but when topwaterrob took my wife and I out on the Everglades while we were on vacation, these guys made me a little more careful about how close to the edge of the boat I was standing.
The lake I usually fish at.

I grew up in South Florida and fished the 'Glades with my Dad from the bank, from his 14' jon, and his airboat. You see gators all the time from the boat...but when you suddenly notice them sunning on the bank not far from where you're fishing on the same bank it gets the heart beating a bit faster...

I can't pick just one....especially this time of year when everything is covered in snow and ice. Just a few that I could rummage up on my computer at work.

I have LOTS of these
This may be my favorite ever....Really awesome colors.
This one is just sickening to look at as I look at this Saturday's high of 28 and low of 8.
This was 40 miles offshore in North Carolina but worth sharing. That's me on the bow...I was in awe for the entire morning. Then the mahi and tuna started biting

here is a few of my favorites can you see the lmb in the top pic?
This is a cool thread, lots of Potomac River in here, I like it! Here's another Potomac shot...Tournament field lined up in a no-wake, about to blast off.
Bonus picture from Erie, the guy at the marina said it was 'nice' out on the lake this day...His boat is obviously bigger than my 20' Stratos (the other boat in this picture is also a 20' Stratos) .
My little pond in Maine....
My favorite river in winter!
This is mine and my buddy's best kept secret! It a small, 100% natural, 1 campsite lake that's tucked away in the Northwoods near a TON of excellent fisheries. This particular lake hasn't been super productive for us (lots of little perch, one 42" musky, and some Smallies), but if this isn't paradise then idk what is. Did I mention you don't hear cars there? Ever. And there's a mated pair of Loons on the water that call out all night long.
This spot is the only part of the shoreline that isn't dense pine and untouched by man. The sun sets directly across from here too. Perfect.
too many to pick just one
Alright last one I swear
New Melones when it was about 200ft down (now 250' down but rising). I've caught hundreds of spots around those pilings and the coves/cuts right before/after. Hard to belive the waterline was right next to the high water mark just 5 years ago...
Panorama of Lee Hall Reservoir...
Heres another one from this past summer. I just got back in from fishing walking down the dock and saw these guys cruising.
I've said "Wow" a good number times looking all these Killer Lake Pics - It's amazing you guys get any fishing done at all.
~ I think I'd be too inclined to sight see and snap off pic after pic . . . .

Die. We would die.
This is my favorite lake.
And this lake is good too.
Up North!
This is my home lake (well, home away from home) that I primarily fish. I have more photos but can't upload all at once due to size.
A couple of Northern WI sunrises
Also had to throw in a pic of my favorite Bass cover with the sun starting to set.
This thread taught me you can only like so many posts a day lol
Black Lake in upstate NY near the Canadian Border. Awesome smallmouth and largemouth fishery.
A few more of my lake. A nice aerial view from a drone that someone took as well.
First. Forked lake in the Adirondacks. Good smallie fishing there
Second. Lows Lake in the Adirondack. Great LM bass fishery
Third. My boat at sunset on Round Valley Reservoir in NJ. Big bass here, but I can never seem to catch them.
First time I saw a deer swimming, I said "look at that duck swimming backwards!"
Man you guys have some really fantastic shots, thanks for sharing all of them, I found a couple more of lake Anna Va. Summer time before the wake boats and jet skiers wake up.
This thread is amazing, so many beautiful pictures. A good reminder to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature, and of how badly I want to fish..
Not the best picture but I caught a lot of bass this fall morning.
Another one that I like pretty well.
Cant see the lake but It was too hard not to post this. I'm a sucker for Red White and Blue.
From my friends boat. This was Day 1 of the College FLW Open. The biggest tournament I've ever fished. 194 boats.

Last year at Brantley lake in Carlsbad NM.
Not a lake pic, but one of my favorite in the co-pilot seat with my dad on the Albemarle Sound in NC. Greenville Marine 2 day classic..... Left Plymouth,NC on the Roanoke River headed due East on the one of the largest freshwater sounds in the US.... Ran 40 miles and that d**n Motor Guide on the bow quit!!!!! Attempted to fish our wind blown points...NOPE!!! Went to the hotel and met my mother with the MINN KOTA we had from the old boat.... Fished the next day, same area and got a decent limit......

Not very, 100 acres maybe but it's mostly canals so it goes on forever. It was a really awesome place.
A couple.

I have never had a "favorite lake picture" before...............and this one is nothing special, just a random smallmouth I caught the other day, but the sky in the background came through on the picture in a unique fashion. Everything looks black and white, except my hand and the bass.

That's just gorgeous. So many of those lakes in the Rockies, but not all of them have a glacier feeding them. Very pretty. The only thing I don't like is it's hard to find bass in any of them.

yah it was pretty surreal to walk into a scene like that, especially one thats from nyc.
when i approached that area i noticed a bobber and string caught up on the upper right hand side of a tree. i photoshopped it out though.
im guessing it was a trout rig.
Here's one from last summer. Taken on a local favorite of mine.

Here's a couple of Lacassine Wildlife Refuge, a shallow marsh I fish weekly!
Does this count? shhs, it was taken with my phone!
Long Lake, NY a few yrs ago. Had 3 perfect days of warm sunny weather first weekend in May, and convinced my then-gf/now-wife to spend it camping. No bugs, boaters, wind, heat. Still the nicest conditions I've ever seen.
