What is your most productive lipless crankbait? Right now mine is a 3/8 chrome and blue "bleeding" rattletrap with red hooks but I am looking to expand my arsenal.
Thank you
ive tried others, but i always go back to a bill lewis rattletrap chrome/blue back....i do like the yozuri rattle and vibe, but not as much as a rattletrap
right now it is the luckycraft vibe
Strike King Red Eye Shad in red craw and chrome w/blue back.
Jason
bass pro shops XPS tri vibe, 5/8 in golden shiner
Definately would be a 1/2oz Diamond Dust Rat-L-Trap and a Yo-Zuri Rattl N' Vibe in baby bass
Xcalibur makes a really nice trap.
The only one Ive ever caught a fish on -WM
Bill Lewis 1/2 oz chrome blue back
If I'm tying on a lipless CB, the first one I pick up is a 1/2oz Cordell Spot, chrome/black back that is so beat up from catching fish that it looks like it got beat with razor wire and the nose is a disaster from being banged into objects But they still blast it. I've tried Rattletraps from time to time, but I just can't warm up to them. I do like the looks of the new Strike King RedEye's and intend to get a couple.
Lucky Craft LV-Max 500

Yep.

I have to agree with your choice, but I use the 1/2 oz more often.
cotton cordell suspending spot in blue/chrome w/ orange underbelly. hands down my favorite
rattlin rapala 1/2 oz in shad pattern folled by a bass pattern.

Thye are hard to beat.
rat-l-trap chrome blue back 3/4
Strike Kings new red eye shad is my new favorite, but b4 that it was one made by Kinami.
Bill Lewis ½ oz Rat-L-Trap Gold/Black Back/Orange Belly
i NEVER fish lipless CB's....i donno why....just one of those lures that i have several but never get around to fishing them. the favorite one that i have is a rattlin rapala in shad color...but tha is just from looks and feel...ive never got it wet.
Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap - 1/2 oz Chartreuse Crawdad
Roger
Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap crome/blue up north and smokey joe down south.
I like the looks of the Spro Arku shad but have never caugh a fish with one. Has anyone had much luck with them?
1/2 oz. Bill Lewis Rattletraps. Also like the old Berkley Frenzy rattler's. New ones arn't as good.
I've devoted the last 8 months to learning how to fish a lipless crankbait. I always have one tied on regardless of conditions.
My favorites..1) EXCALIBER 2)LUCKY CRAFT
QuoteI like the looks of the Spro Arku shad but have never caugh a fish with one. Has anyone had much luck with them?
The Arku Shad is all I use these days. But my most productive ones are missing most of the paint. I take fine steel wool and rub some of it off. Then it starts catching fish.

I agree. It seem the worse a lipless crank looks the better it catches. Maybe using clear lipless cranks might be a good idea? You guys know if any company makes them?
I've been doing well with this old LC LV-Max 500 lately. Hope I dont loose it. Heavily used lures seem to catch better for some reason. At least for me.

Use it, they work!
100% of my rattle trap bass have been on Rattlin Rapalas. The others haven't worked for me yet.
Lucky Craft.
typically the gold 1/2 oz bill lewis works best,
but there are days when chorme/blue works better.
then some days the lv 500 max is king. in aurora black
and some days the yo zuri with that thumper in a loud orange is a killer bait.
as you can see I love all kinds of cranks. My crankbait rod is the only one with a snap on it so I can change often.
My Lucky Craft LV 500 pearl ayu...until I lost it yesterday on Lake St. Clair... >
Lucky Craft Sammy's & LVR's.
Mine would have to be a Rat L Trap Bleeding shiner in 1/2 oz although I confess I dont use lipless crankbaits very often.
1/2 oz cordell spot in rayburn red or barfish
I used to use Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap, and then Rapala came out with the Rattlin' Rapala, which I used exclusively. Now I use the Yo-Zuri Rattle-N-Vibe, which seems to be more effective then the other 2.
Spro Arukushads
Lucky Craft LVRD7, LV0, LV300N, LV200
Cordell Spots
I never hit the lake without any of them.
Brad
My most protective lipless crank would be the 1/2 Yozuri Rattle N Vibe (I forgot the color name of the one I like however :-[)
Bill Lewis Rattletrap 1/2 OZ Red Craw.
