For me I start with zoom finesse, senko, ZinkerZ, used power worms without ribbon tail.
What do you use on that wacked out rig?
Bama Bug Senko
SK ocho, BPS stiko, Big bite bait trick stick, Yum dinger, Wave worm Tiki stick
Senkos! I have tried two other low-price brands of finesse worms and they didn't seem to do as well as the Senko. I have more faith in that bait/presentation than probably any other, though I can honestly say I don't enjoy fishing it as much as a jig, crank bait, etc.
You have to admit, it just flat-out works.
Tight lines,
Bob
I'll wacky a bunch of different things.
Even stuff you aren't "supposed" to wacky....
Like lizards
Mostly Zoom Finesse, Trick worms, Senkos,
BPS Stik-Os, and the like.
I'll also wacky flukes.
Havoc flat dawgs and money makers. 4" and 6" Havoc Bottom Hoppers.
Trick worms 1st. Senkos 2nd. Fluke Sticks 3rd
Senko's, Trick worms and BPS Stik-O's
Mike
senko's or senko "type" (other brands)
When the nose of the bait gets torn up, wacky rig it.
Senkos, Dingers and Zoom trick worms.
Will wacky rig a finesse worm from time to time, too.
Money maker
Yum dinger.
My favorite is a baby bass GY Senko
That is the ONE thing I'll use a senko for, but only with the O-ring trick otherwise they're the least durable bait of all time and everybody and their mother throws them.
Zoom Finesse worms first, Zoom Trick worms second and Senko/knockoffs a distanct third.
Thousands of catches have shown me that bass like the finesse worms the best.
I here that word finesse alot with diffrent things is it a brand name
Finesse means a down sized bait, thinner and shorter usually.

My friends like to stick little 4" finesse worms on there, and they enjoy some productivity. I prefer Dingers.
Havoc Flat Dawgs, BPS Stick O's, and Zoom Trick worms.
So far, senko an dingers

Buy several bags.............they are even less durable than GYCB Senkos. Which is not a bad thing at $2.99, thank god they are not $7.99 like Gary's sticks. I just wish they came in a 4" size..........but that's where the Havoc Money Maker comes in
To be honest with you, when I first tried the Flat Dawgs...........I kind of hated them, and stuck to Dingers and/or Big Bite sticks. Then one day I was out of both, remembered I had some Flat Dawgs in the burried bowels of the boat, got them out and have been using them ever since, and I don't plan on going back to the Dingers anytime soon. I'll still keep some of the round Big Bite sticks around, because there are just some things a flat, fragile stick bait is not good at. #1 is punching.............yes,I like to punch with stick/heavy weight pegged to the nose when the big jig or creature bait bite has died. Those fish are still there and often times that's just the ticket for me. The Flat Dawg doesn't hold up coming in and out of the cover, and you'll be changing baits often, even without getting bit. A BB stick will at least last till the first fish or two.

Yep plan on 5 packages of Havoc, Megastrike and Keitech stickbaits.
Gyb senkos and roboworm fat straight tail worms.

Like WW2 said, buy plenty. I've lost a ton of them on the first cast because they just came off when I tried to skip them under a dock. It's frustrating but they're only $3 a bag and they flat out catch fish, best wacky rig bait I've used when I can keep them on the hook.
Senko, Dingers, Money Makers, Flat dogs, Scoundrels, and some finesse worms.
Wacky rig....probably just senkos and other stick baits. Wacky jig, that's another story....add a tiny bit of weight to this rig, and it becomes something entirely more useful to me.
Franco - Please elaborate!
Elaborate on what part, the bait and rig, or why? It's a wacky jig. A bait that has a bit of weight - one that I can better control and feel is more useful to me than any unweighted bait. That's not to say I don't throw unweighted baits, but I throw something weighted far more often. I like the wacky jig better than the neko or nail rig, and other weighted solutions for wacky hooked baits.
And now you need to zip it pal. Lol.On 11/24/2014 at 11:56 PM, J Francho said:Elaborate on what part, the bait and rig, or why? It's a wacky jig. I mean, er, they're a waste of time, lol.
2nd biggest bass in NY, wacky jig....
Thanks Franco, I have been experimenting with wacky rigging stick baits and finesse worms behind a traditional jig instead of a craw trailer......results are outstanding.
That's not really what I mean at all, but if it works, fish 'em.
These are wacky jigs:
Gotcha, I use different types of weighted wacky jigs too, I even bought some great ones from BlueBasser last year!
Does anyone wacky rig any "non traditional" baits?
Gummy worms.
They hold up better than senkos too,

I wacky rigged a lake fork magic shad this year and did well with it.
