I just found out that Tackle Warehouse now has the Rage Tail next generation products available for sale. They are getting shipments in daily so for all of you that have been waiting to purchase these baits, the time has arrived. I am placing my order this weekend for the new 10 inch anacondas, lobsters, lizards and space monkeys.

Rondef, you're the man! Thanks for the info!
Went to Bass Pro tonight here in Louisiana picked up the new Lizards and Space Monkeys ,
Anacondas were sold out
Uh I posted and asked Big O about the color comparison for Lobster and after he told me the difference between the two. Then all sudden this one poster posted that he went and placed all the order and now that its out of stock. Thanks to whoever it was.
Yea he's real consideration. Rude IMO. 70 years old acting like a kid in candy store :
Whatever, theres always time in the world.
Thanks Rondef and all of the Bass Resource Family,
Everyone please be sure to remember that all of the Next Generation baits have Shape Saver Tabs (SST) on them. These tabs attach the legs and tails to the body so that they stay as straight as possible during manufacturing, shipping etc. Just pop them loose prior to fishing them.
Hope everyone enjoys fishing the baits as much as I enjoyed designing them. Now go stick a Big Pig....
Thanks for your support,
Big O
Big O, Awesome product!!!!!!!! I first learned about these at a seminar in January by Kim Stricker where he had some video and samples of the shad. They looked pretty good so I promptly bought a package of the shad and frogs. Well they sat forgotten in my tackle box all summer until about a month ago. It was a rather slow day when I came accross them and decided to finally give them a try and wow was I surprised!!! I fished them around and on top of some lilly pads and have caught several nice bass already. I have always loved my buzzbaits and have caught some of my personal best bass on them but I can throw the Rage Tails in places I wouldn't dream of throwing a buzzbait. I may never throw a buzzbait again!!!! ;D
Thanks for designing such an awesome product!!! I look forward to trying some of the new designs!!!
Thanks strick9,
I have received several request to describe one of the new colors called Big Tex, which has quickly become one of my favorites. It is a laminated black w/red flake back and brown tan belly w/orange flake...cool-cool-cool.
All of the new design baits are produced in this color and when I saw the first ones, I wanted to eat them myself... ;D The fish like'em too.
Glad you're having fun with the Rage Tails.
Big O
Ron,
Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting to try those anacondas and wasn't expecting them until october. Thanks again.
Matt
Thanks brother, just got my order in
No thanks needed, I just wanted to let everyone know the products are out. The thank you should go to Big O for designing these awesome baits.
BPS has their orders in, too.
I just got a call yesterday letting
me know my 10" Anacondas had arrived.
8-)
I'm gonna get some anacondas today, those suckers look sweet.
im itchin to get my hands on some of those anacondas in that new Big Tex color
great job on designing these baits Big O they all look amazing!
Thanks Guys, I also got some of the 7" Annies in my order, and they are SWEEEEET.....As Rondef says, "Gonna go rip some lips" ;D
The colors turned out great on all of them but noticed on this first production order, the Double Header color appears really close to Watermelon red. I want it a bit darker, should be a half Green pumpkin red and half Watermelon red. I put in a call to the Plastic Shop this morning...
Nuff talk, gotta go fishin"
Big O
I went to the store today and they didn't have the new ones. :'(
Is there anywhere online that i could order some anacondas from?
The link is on the first post in this thread but here it is again.

Glad you called to correct the problem cause I haven't place order, yet. That's the color I intend to get.
Let us know whenever they've got it taken care.
I just ordered 6 packs of the Anacondas from Tackle Warehouse (1 Bama Bug, 1 Big Tex, 1 Okeechobee Craw, 1 Double Header and 2 Red Bug), they are supposed to arrive Friday. I am psych'ed, just in time for weekend fishing.
I'm getting some of those Anacondas and the Rodents, their version of the beaver. They both look killer.
For those of you who are planning to fish the RT Anaconda's, Please remember to hook them with the tail upright for best action results.
You can fish them weightless, Tx rig, Carolina Rig and with a keel weighted hook. For many of us, the bigger the worm the bigger the hook, and I advise 3/0 minimum ewg for 7" and 5/0 minimum ewg on the 10".
If you like the action of weightless sinko style baits on the fall, you will really enjoy the seductive action of Anacondas weghtless as well. On the 7" ANA, I like a 4/0 minimum superline EWG hook and a 5/0 minimum on the 10". The slightly heavier hook on each gives all of the additional weight necessary to make the tails slither slowly back an forth during the fall.
For a slightly quicker fall rate many are using the keel weighted hooks in the same sizes.
The reason I mentioned this is that we are catching many quality fish in 6 ft or less now on weightless Annie's, let me know how you like'em
Big O
My order just shipped today and they arrive Friday.
Going to have to try out some of these 7" and 10" anacondas. Glad to hear they work well weightless.
Thanks,
I haven't fished my Anacondas. I may this week. I have fished the Space Monkeys. I have been looking for a plastic with a lot of action I could swim slowly near lily pads. I wanted something I could keep in the upper 1-2 feet of the water column. The Space Monkey fills the bill perfectly.
I'm glad you posted this I was just about to ask my order should be here in time for the Sat, now lets just hope my wife is not home when they get here...
Or I will blame you guys for being enablers ;D

so you are to blame for all the colors going missing. '
I got a pack of green pumpkin and bama bug coming my way.
Hey what can I say, they are awesome baits that really produce. I waited a couple of days since posting this thread so others could take advantage of the fact that these are available before I bought any. Besides they are gettig more Rage Tail stock daily from Strike King.
My anacondas came in yesterday, man they look sweet. I can hardly wait to use them this weekend.
What is the average wait time for pre orders?
I got my anacondas in two days.
Tried my 7" Anacondas this weekend. No luck with them this weekend though. Going to try the Rage Tail Shad later this week.
Fish were only biting on top water lures today.
Later,
hey ron as soon as you get the a chance an catch something with them, can you let me know. I have every one at the office, going crazy with the amount of times i make them watch the videos. I told them that's all i want for X-mas.
good luck with them an Big-O, you da man.
memo
To get me to throw anything other than Gene Larew Ring Worms is next to impossible but once I saw Rage Tail Next Generation's 10 Anaconda my first thought was main lake grass flats on Toledo Bend. Last Wednesday & Thursday I was on the Bend but high winds kept my little Stratos off the main lake. That dog will hunt
From late October until the start of April I throw a lot of lizards/craw worms and none have the action of Rage Tail. I did throw the lizard last Thursday and yet with the bite extremely slow it produced two keeper bass.
All I can say about Rage Tail Next Generation lures is it the odds of beating the Ole Catt just got a little more difficult.
Saturday report
Nothing on my Anaconda's, but the smallies hit the the space monkey like nobody's business. All over two pounds one at 4 and some change.
Good job mayassa with the space monkeys. Do you have any pictures of the 4 pounder?
Memo, I will post pictures after I get a chance to use them, I did not get out much this weekend. I am hoping to try out the anacondas some time this week.
