Okay, for those frog guys out there which is the best hollow bodied frog and why? The ones I'm looking into are the Spro Bronzeye and the Snag Proof Bobby's Perfect Frog...pros/cons of these? I know Booyah and Strike King both make some too but it seems Snag Proof and Spro get the most love but I'm open to suggestions as well.
can't go wrong with these:
ish's phat frog
spro bronzeye
booyah pad crasher
i actually like the booyah myself, they have the softest body and collapses easily on hooksets. they're also cheaper and easier to find than the others.

The color posted.
Booyah, like they said.
Recommended color differs depending where you are.
Down here in Florida I have had best results with the Cricket, Aqua, and White booyah colors.
I like the the Scum Frog Trophy Series.
Like the way it casts and how it sits with its back end down in the water.
It's also very soft which leads to better hook ups.
The downside to it being so soft is that it doesn't last that long. However, they're not as expensive as most of the other frogs on the market.
Bronzeye 100%.
Booyah Pad Crashers are where it's at for me. Very soft, collapsible body and they make a popping and Jr version.
I like the Spro Bronze eye but I've taken a like to Strike King KVD Popping Perch

Ditto

Booyah Popping Pad Crasher - bull frog
Soft collapsible plastic offers good hook-ups
The flat face is good for popping, a plow-&-pause retrieve and so on.
Good leak resistance
Spro Bronzeye Popping Frog - green tree
The flat face is good for popping, plowing-&-pausing, etc.
Good leak resistance
Durable

I like the Pad Crashers, too. I bought a bunch BEFORE they became a sponsor! I've got some of the popping versions to try this summer, when the slop comes in.
Spro popping frog and Booyah Pad Crasher.
Black with Yellow.
Booyah, Booyah, and...... Booyah!
Full disclosure, I do have a three of the Spro, one KVD, one Terminator, two Lunkerhunt, a Live Target Field Mouse and Sunfish.
I've caught more and better fish on the Booyah Pad Crashers than all of the others combined!
Plus I just like saying Booyah!
Spro bronzeye gets a lot of use by me. I also like Booyah Pad crashers. I did get a River2Sea Bully Wa over the winter but haven't been able to fish it yet. I really like it out if the box, not as rigid as the spro and much beefier and more easily exposed hooks. We'll see how it is in practice. It's a larger frog but I have high hopes for it. My hookups with the spro have been a little less than desirable so I'm just trying to improve on that.
Booyah poppin pad crasher in cricket is my number 1 frog. You can walk it, pop it etc making it great in the slop or open water. Hook up ratio is great with them as well. Only issue I have is I end up destroying the plastic in the mouth "popping cup" on a really good day but @Bluebasser86 doesn't have that issue.
I like the jawbone frogs at Dick's sporting goods. At $3 they are easy to replace. They float like a champ and even the small frogs cast well. Only downside is the hook isn't the strongest but it is plenty for Colorado ponds. I'd recommend trying one before buying something more expensive. You might find the Jawbone frogs get the job done and save you some $.

How is your hook-up ratio with the Jawbone frogs? The angle of the hooks differs a bit from other frogs and I'm curious if this adversely affects the hookset.
Koppers LIVETARGET "Mini Frog" LIVETARGET Hollow Body 45T Frog adds real life features, great paint jobs and realistic look to a small one and 3/4-inch body that weighs 1/4 ounce. It also casts well and walks, glides and scoots like its big brother. The keeled belly combined with anatomical lifelike features work well, the nose points ups, and the 45T can be worked on the surface or dead-sticked. The molded front legs and 3D eyes of this bait are good features...
You don't want to follow me down this path. Turn back while you still can!!
My over all favorites are the junior and popping pad crashers in cricket frog and dart frog, but this year the lunkerhunt pocket frogs with the legs swapped out for skirts has been my go to frog. Only time will tell if it earns a place with my booyahs, but i love the results i'm seeing so far. The finesse frog saved my butt at a tournament last weekend, with a decent 18th out of 84 finish. Thanks for the heads up on that @Master Bait'r.
Booyah and spro... easiest to walk
Booyah is the softest. Spro walks a lil better. Booyah is the best bang for your buck
Bobby's Perfect and Chris Lane Guntersville frog are two of the best I've fished. I like the SPRO and Koppers, as well.
Spro and Kopper is about all I use.
I wish they still made the "Barts Death Dealer" frog. I watched some video of that and it looked effective, but he apparently stopped making them? I contacted him to see what their availability is.
Bobbys perfect frog is my favorite.

Who doesn't!?!
I really like the Booyah Popping Pad Crashers, but I'm really excited to try the new popping Savage Gear frogs more. I caught a bunch on one last week at my practice lake. Hopefully get to try them for real soon
Paycheck Baits Transporter. (No longer made, unfortunately)
when they discontinued them, I bought everyone I could find. No matter the frog, we make unique modificationsno one else does that I know of.
with our modification, you can make a mediocre frog a good or great frog. We did a video of it.

I have not used it a ton yet but I think if the fish doesn't miss it you will hook them. If anything it might not be as weedless as you want but I'd rather lean that way.
Booth pad crasher.I am however looking forward for the new Ish Phattie frog to drop after icast.

Care to elaborate?
I like Booyah Pad Crasher and Poppin Pad Crasher. Casts easy, plus it's simple to add weight (BB's) to them for heavy slop fishing.
I haven't had the chance yet to fish the new popping Savage Gear frogs, but I'm looking forward to using them this summer!

You miss 3/4's of the best frog bite of the year if you wait to use them in slop
Booyah and Spro. I don't think I have ever used anything else.
booyah pad crasher
I've yet to find anything that works better than Academy's H2O frog!
I like booyah pad crasher and the River2sea spittin wa.
I have a several Spro frogs but every single one takes on water like a block of Swiss cheese. I can't even get through one retrieve before the frog starts not being able to work right cause it has so much water in the body
bass in pic was with pad crasher
I have a ton of them. Booyah, River2Sea, Strike King, and Spro. Hands down Spro is my favorite and I always have one tied on. Second would prob be the Booyah.
Ive tried every brand, my favorite is the boyaah. I also like manns but boyaah is best bang for buck

had a mans frog, hard as i tried i never caught a fish on it. did hook one once
Booyah, baby! I caught two this morning on the Booyah Poppin' Frog. The popping model walks more easily too. There's the possibility of two actions.

Ya know, you got me thinking, I don't think I've ever caught a fish on a popping frog...Ever! Isn't that nuts!!
I've caught hundreds of fish on poppers of all makes, styles and colors. But not on a popping frog for some crazy reason. If I don't walk it or use a steady retrieve I get nothing.
Darnest thing

I hadn't caught one on this popping frog yet. I usually use the standard Pad Crasher. But I was fishing a little more open water with a few laydowns here and there. So I tied on the popper with little expectation of getting bites on it. I picked up the frog rod at every laydown and lily pad patch and was rewarded with a couple, including the big fish of the day-only a couple pounds. I was with my buddy and his nephews.
Has anyone tried the Savage Gear Lily Ninja frogs from DSG...are they any good?

I agree... I only have three Transporters left...

I totally agree, the Paycheck Transporter Frog was yet another casualty of consumer ignorance.
I still throw the Transporter Frog, but since they're no longer made, I no longer bother to mention them.
Roger
With advice from some of the local fisherman I have been using the Jackal Iobee frog. I was told that I did not need to do anything to the bait to make it fish well, but trimmed the legs anyway, they were longer than I cared for. The hooks are sharp and are opened up well, and the frog walks better than most any I have used. It has become my goto for frogs when a walking presentation is what they prefer. The SPRO is a good all round frog as mentioned by numerous others.
bully wa and bully wa II
Pad crasher, spro, KVD popping perch, terminator
So, here recently I've had the opportunity to fish the Terminator frog. I like it a lot. Not too expensive and it walks better than any I've tried. Good hook sets, body collapses easily, and doesn't draw a ton of water like spro or koppers will.
Two thumbs up from me. And I hate fishing frogs.
For those of you talking about the transporter, I found this. In stock supposedly.

Oh never mind I see the *** but anyways it was the first thing to come up when I google searched the transporter frog.

They're not in stock. When you try to select a color it won't let you.
Snag Proof Ish's Phat Frog.
Large profile. Most splash and widest walking action of any frog I've seen. You can easily get it to walk 12" from side to side.
Oh, sorry

Luckily, I found 25 or so when I heard they were being discontinued.
I sold a few, but decided not to sell anymore.
I caught about 5 more on the Booyah Poppin' Pad Crasher last night. Given that this bait walks more easily than the standard PC and you can pop it when you want to, I see no reason to take it off for the rest of the summer.
Sounds like you might have to change your profile pick! I'm gonna have to pick up some of those, right along with a teckel sprinker frog.
Tried one of those jawbones from dicks for 2.99 yesterday. I usually go with spro or booyah, but these are my new favorite. They're cheap, eyes fell out weight came out but they get the job done nothing some split shots and superglue can't fix. My hookup ratio was 100 % no lie, maybe just lucky but if your just getting into froggin get a couple u won't be disappointed
