Best quality jigs I've ever bought.

OK, that was seven words...

fishing user avatar1201vilbig reply :

Agreed - best jig value out there. I like the Dredge Brush jig.

fishing user avatarDirtyeggroll reply :

3/8 Oz Siebert Dredge Dock rocker

Comes through all cover very well, skips well and swims well.

I also like the hook on it. Not sure it changes anything, but at the very least it looks different.

I always have one tied on. Always.

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

Sieberts, pick the jig type and color of your choice. You won't get a better price and selection.

fishing user avatarIgotWood reply :

Hard to beat Sieberts. However, I have been using Northstar Baits, Knockout Jig this year with good success. Not sure what the jighead style is called, but it’s like a hybrid between an arkie, grass jig, and a brush head. It has been a very good “all-in-one” jig for me since last fall. They are nice people to deal with and will do small custom orders as well.

fishing user avatarDens228 reply :

I was using 6th Sense but started using Dirty jigs, mainly because I don't like screw locks and also the paint on the 6th Sense heads doesn't seem to last long.

fishing user avatarwaymont reply :

War Eagle Flip jig. $2.89 with a wire tied skirt and rattles. Comes with a Mustad Ultra Point hook.

They come through cover great, have high quality skirts, and are a great design.

Hook up ratio a fantastic. Get them on sale during TW sale and they are an even more incredible value.

Destroyer Bait Company Destroyer jigs.

Makes some amazing custom colored jigs and also veteran owned.

fishing user avatarSouthernbasser reply :

Dirty jig.  Haven't tried Sieberts yet. I guess the bait monkey will be doing somemore whispering in my ear.

fishing user avatarprimetime reply :

One I can swim and pitch....with a good hook...I have Siebert jigs, Strike King Hack Attack, but basically any bullet head style jig will work well.

If you are on a budget and need to grab some at a local shop....Most Jigs from Strike King are good, and the Terminator Jigs are good for the price, same with some of the Booyah Jigs....Dick's has an inexpensive wire tied jig in their own brand..Jawbone I think..Skirts feel like Living rubber....They are actually good for swimming or pitching since it doesn't hurt to break one off in the bushes and trees...Only issue I have is the weedguards fall out easily...

If i want to swim a pitching or flipping jig....I simply thin out the brush guard to land more strikes...I find the Heavy duty swim Jigs from Dirty Jigs are essentially flipping jigs, they just call them swim jigs....But they are certainly good, just expensive for a jig imo.

fishing user avatarLonnieP reply :

Siebert and Dirty jigs are good. Lately I’ve been using Tackle Suppy Depot Tungsten jigs and really like those.

fishing user avatarMIbassyaker reply :

Siebert Dredge Brush, G2 Football, and Dock Rocker. Here's what I got on my last order for some northern clear water craw & bluegill/sunfish-y patterns:

fishing user avatarfishballer06 reply :

Siebert jigs, hands down. I like the Sniper and the Grid Iron Arkie jig are my go to's. I also use his swim jigs as well.

fishing user avatarFishin Dad reply :

Agreed.   Seiberts Dredge jigs are awesome.  That dredge hook seems to hold trailers on better and is a great hook.  I also have been experimenting with the *** jigs to see if they are more snag free and hook fish better.  So far I like them as well.  A little more spendy for sure though.

fishing user avatarSiebert Outdoors reply :

Wow!  Thank you all for your support and business!

fishing user avatarrlm1 reply :

I've never used the SO jigs, but they seem to have a good following.  Will give them a whirl soon!  I buy from a couple of local companies for their premium jigs and spinnerbaits,  Mr. Sooperbass here in central Va., and Dave's jigs out of NC.  Good products that perform at a good price point!

I just got into jigs this season. I now know we’re I’ll be placing a order.

fishing user avatarCatch Co. (Ross G.) reply :

If you're looking for a different take on a Jig check out the Gamechenger Lures Trashmaster. It has a screw lock and no weed guard to so can texpose it and keep the bait from snagging. It was designed to fish around wood and grass but I  pretty much fish it everywhere now. Caught my PB on with with Steve Parks (the designer behind GameChanger stuff, also the inventor or Rage Tail) down in Mexico last year.

fishing user avatarGReb reply :

I only use two now days. Siebert and a local guy. But he’s twice the price so I only use him when I want a custom

fishing user avatarwhitwolf reply :

@Siebert Outdoors

Brush, finesse, Dock Rocker, and Zenith Shakey Head.

They are the best jigs I have ever used. The only thing that tops the quality is the customer service!

One example: I was needing some swimbait hooks. Mike was temporarily out of stock and went out to his boat and got me what I needed. Tremendous customer service!

fishing user avatarGhostshad reply :

Siebert Jig's. You can't be Mike either. Completely satisfied.

fishing user avatarDerek1 reply :

You guys talked me right into it. Sieberts it is for next season.

I’m thinking a large sampler pack.

fishing user avatarRHuff reply :

My favorite jig is the Terminator Pro Series Jig

fishing user avatarMontanaro reply :

I have been using boss jigs lately.  I like to mix and match skirts and heads and they have a lot of options.  Also like mustad hooks.  I have saved money doing this.

I like Siebert's and I am sure I can do similar, I just havent done a comparison in a while.

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

Siebert's for quality.  If I'm fishing in a spot where I know I am going to be losing a lot of jigs then I'll use Strike King Bitsy Flip.

fishing user avatarTBAG reply :

I like to support local so I buy D&L jigs.

You can either add the Northland rattles, or insert the glass ones into the trailer.

That's what I've been doing when I want some sound (Northland). But if they could've been ordered that way, I would just go that route.

fishing user avatarJermination reply :

Pure poison jigs are awfully good, and i dont know anywhere you can find some of their color patterns. "Watts bar special" with an electric shad rage swimmer is an absolute staple in east TN through the month of may & early june

I NEVER not have a 3/8 oz Sieberts Dredge Dock Rocker in PBJ tied on.  I mean this literally.  I don't care what I have tied on other rods, that jig is ALWAYS tied on my jig rod.

Lol the jig is my confidence bait too, I’d feel ok with just my jig rod in the boat.

Dirty jigs are about 20 min from me...so naturally! And there are lots of other mom and pop jig makers locally too. But I might have to give Seiberts a try, maybe start with an arky style. I use the SK bitsy jigs often too, especially in snag heavy areas, we have lots of toothy critters too. ????

If you use the SK Bitsy check out Siebert's Dredge Arky Jig 1/8 only.  It is a fraction bigger so I trim the skirt.   But you get a much better hook and incredible selection of skirts.  I replaced all my Bitsy jigs with these.  WAAAAYY better.

Hey Patrick, you should be using Siebert jigs.
