Product reviews of YVLEEN Folding Fishing Net - Foldable Fish Landing Net Robust Aluminum Telescopic Pole Handle and Nylon Mesh 16inch Hoop Size
Emily : Good
Good product, I wish the handle is longer, but it does the job.
Shane-O-Mac : Get it
This net is worth the money.
Richard Odom : Will get the job done!
The next is compact and works great in limited space. The only down side is the length adjustments can be a little difficult to work. Overall it seems to work as advertised and I would not hesitate to purchase it again.
Greg Timbs : Light weight. Easy to carry!
Light weight... easy to carry! Good for small fish .. I would say nothing over 12lb ! Good little net!
Kayla : So easy to use and definitely deserves all 5 stars!
This net is durable, lightweight and SO easy to use! I took a video to show the ease of unfolding and folding it back up to fit into the carrying case. It’s perfect for anyone who loves fishing and my husband says it is worth ALL 5 stars!
Amazon Customer : It works
Better than what I expected!!! It will land fish for sure, not something that will last a lifetime but it will do for a few seasons. Only thing I found that was kinda odd is that there is a key ring connecting the net to the pole at the base. O well overall like I said it will works
Allen CHEN : Not sturdy
Was very disappointed with the durability of this net. It fell apart within several uses. I will not recommend this product. Very flimsy and breaks easily.
Easom chen : Crabbing
I use that to catch crabs
Amazon Customer : Cool design...but doesn’t last long
Used twice before the plastic snapped in 2 places at once under very minimal use...cool design but not functional whatsoever. Very disappointed
Jeffrey A. Fong : Decent net for smallish things.
Light and compact. Bear in mind the friction collar which you use to adjust the length of the shaft can get jammed with grit or sand and can be difficult to clean - a consideration if you're planning to use this at the beach. Otherwise, a decent net for, say, crabbing.
Eduardo R. Enriquez : Very portable and sturdy
Having a 10' pontoon boat, space is a premium. This well-built, sturdy unit, takes up a very small space. So far, I've brought in several 5+ lbs bass with this net without a problem. The aluminum handle collapses, which is very convenient when you need that extra length to reach the big'ens.
Virginia : Fits in my pontoon boat's seat
This does exactly what I need it to do, and folds away for easy storage.
Xiping Wang : This is a great net!
This is a great net. I bought it for my friend's children because he likes ponds to catch fish and frogs. It folds very small, has a perfect packaging bag, is easy to carry, and the material of the net looks very strong and easy to fold. This is the best gift for children, he is very happy.
Kathryn burnsworth : Broken handle
I bought this net to go on vacation with our family. I specifically picked this one for durability. I am sad to say the handle broke after 2 days of use. We were able to tape it in a fashion to keep it alive for the rest of the trip, but in the end we got rid of it. Other than the broken handle, it was made well.
Kutledoe1919 : It's a net ... it works
We took this to the beach and it did not disappoint
MyOtherNewName : Great compact net
Very nice folding net. Great for the average size fish. 4 Stars because I Caught a 7 pound rainbow trout and it struggled a bit. I would recommend this item.
Amanda Lyons : Cute net for kids
I got this for a present for a 10 yrs old boy and he absolutely loved it!
Millie : Nice net for frogs.
Perfect for my daughter to catch frogs with. I love that it folds up. It doesn’t take up any room. We haven’t used it for fish yet
Jarod Perkins : Great deal
Lightweight and folds well. The belt clip is nice too for hiking the streams
JS FL. : Very Compact.
When folded it can fit in a small storage space but when needed it quickly unfolds into a full size fishing net.
Mike : Good small net for the price
Purchased to take camping ands fish from a canoe. Served its purpose and doesn't take up much space.
Kindle Customer : Don't leave in sun
This thing gets hot and burns your hands!
PAUL S : Good net
Good net
Liz : Great folding action and sturdy
Lightweight, yet sturdy and durable. Love the telescoping and folding action. Perfect for fishing!
JV : Broke in first use
This is such a pathetic quality item. It broke in 1st use. It is not sturdy at all. Avoid it.

Timothy : It will do ok for my needs
Its smaller than i thought. Depth is fine. The lock can be difficult to release, other times it doesnt lock open and net folds up. Fits nicely in my storage and the rubber coating doesnt get snagged on hooks. It works.
sissy : Toaster Test
Saw that a couple of people had their nets break on the first use, usually with a pound or two. Given that I work second shift and I wasn’t able to head to the lake at midnight to test my net with actual fish, I decided to use my toaster as a weight. The net held up well, no bending, cracking, or ripping. So I consider this a solid purchase.
I’m also digging the fact that the net seems to be made of a silicone-ish material that hopefully won’t injure any critters.
Well, anymore than the hooks already do.
Leave me alone. I have a guilt complex when it comes to fishing.
Mel : Sturdy, compact and easy to use. But want more length.
This is the third net we have bought for kayak fishing. Our first (another type/brand) broke on the first use. The second (similar as well, we like but don't love. It lacks quality and we are hesitant to use because of it). This one is the best quality so far. Solid coated net. The folding it smooth/easy, and it's handle is strong and has a good place to clip to a holder. My only complaint is that the handle does not lengthen. I would like it to telescope out another 6-12 inches at least. Other than that, love.
Grey : Perfect netting
I needed a net to catch baby chicks this was it. Netting small enough to not let heads poke out.
Ashley H : Impressive First impressions
First impressions are that it is very durable yet lite in weight. Extends out without any issues and folds up nicely as well. Haven't fully used it yet but I can't wait till I do. Perfect for carrying in a pack or day bag.

Brehil : Great so far
I like the nets size, weight, small storage and durability. I was able to even use it to bring in a 3ft bonnet shark so I could easily catch and release (Which was rather tricky considering the size of the shark to the size of the net). The build quality is amazing, I haven't used it for anything larger than about 20lbs but it seemed to hold up fine to that. I do wish the netting holes were bigger and that the handle was 3-5" longer.
Cindy : Good net
Love this bet. I needed a replacement and it is convenient easy to use easy to store
Shopper : Short and flimsy
I had to return it.
Gavin : Perfect 16-inch landing net for pond fishing!
The 16-inch landing net is ideal for pond fishing. The mesh material is very strong, preventing the hook from being caught, preventing damage to the fish, safely capturing and releasing it. It folds up in a very compact size, light weight and easy to carry. Take up less space. The belt clip can be fastened to my chair and can be easily opened with one hand.
K. M. Hanna : Broke during first use
I bought two. First time my son used one of them it broke. Now looking for something similar that will hold up. Very disappointed.
Jarod Perkins : Great deal

Bobby K. : Broke After First Use
i purchased this net as a back up and tried to use it for the first time. The net frame snapped from the arm the first time I opened it up. Its an inexpensive net for a reason I guess. Very disappointed. I am surprised by the other reviews as this appears to be more than just a one-off issue.
Willia Hellwege : Well made!
A perfect light weight and Durable and easy to adjust fishing net. Perfect for fishing in those tight fishing spots!
Amber Dubois : Great Net for bass sized fish.
Seems like it is a great net. I purchased the blue one. Like how easy it is to fold up. I just wish it would have come with a little case.
Richard Odom : Will get the job done!

Kathryn : For fishing
I actually accidentally bought this. Didn’t realize this was a huge net basically for fishing. My fish are barely a foot long.
Frank Gould : Unique Application - Extraction Success
This net worked like magic for a unique situation I needed to complete without killing all fish, clams, snails, shrimp, and other organisms in our pond. We made a dumb mistake when we converted our swimming pool into a natural pond when we included tilapia as one of our stock fish. After we had gorgeous native water lilies blooming in our shallow end, separated by tilapia fence from the deep end, the tilapia bred and their babies invaded the shallow end through the fence openings, grew to adults, and ate the lilies. Since then, we've waited for a freeze cold enough to kill the semi-topical tilapia but it hadn't happened since.
Then after fish management pros suggested poisoning the whole pond as the only way to get rid of them, I figure out a better solution using food to attract and train the fish to be fearless of the net. The YVLEEN Folding Fishing Net turned out to be the perfect length and depth to fan out in the water while the fish schooled on the edge waiting for me to feed them.
I focused on conditioning the tilapia so they were comfortable with the net and would swim in-and-out of it without fear. Once they appeared to accept the net, I threw food away to distract the school of native fish while I scooped up a tilapia or two from the rest. One can be seen in the included video with this post.
This doesn't say much for baited line fishers use of the net but I was pleased with the ability to leave it in the water and not fear it would rot or decay. Now that it's Winter and I've stopped feeding all fish, I've stored the net out of water so that it's ready in case any more tilapia show up in the Spring.
Noah : Very nice
It is great. I didn't expect much from a net that folds up but it is good. It seems the hook gets caught in it so easy and takes longer to get the hook out of the bed then it takes to tell in and take the fish off the hook.
