Product reviews of YVLEEN Folding Fishing Net - Foldable Fish Landing Net Robust Aluminum Telescopic Pole Handle and Nylon Mesh 16inch Hoop Size
Caroline : All you need.
Just what two girls needed to fish. It’s not long so you’ll have to bend or get down to catch something but easy to store and works great.
kel51 : Smaller then you think it will be.
It would work well bank fishing for smaller fish. Handle it short.
Kathryn : For fishing
I actually accidentally bought this. Didn’t realize this was a huge net basically for fishing. My fish are barely a foot long.
Kathryn burnsworth : Broken handle
I bought this net to go on vacation with our family. I specifically picked this one for durability. I am sad to say the handle broke after 2 days of use. We were able to tape it in a fashion to keep it alive for the rest of the trip, but in the end we got rid of it. Other than the broken handle, it was made well.
Willia Hellwege : Well made!
A perfect light weight and Durable and easy to adjust fishing net. Perfect for fishing in those tight fishing spots!
Timothy : It will do ok for my needs
Its smaller than i thought. Depth is fine. The lock can be difficult to release, other times it doesnt lock open and net folds up. Fits nicely in my storage and the rubber coating doesnt get snagged on hooks. It works.
L Major : Great for any fisherperson
Great help when I'm fishing. Exactly what I needed and not bulky or heavy.
SAMIR MUSA VALLE : functional
Is okay
kel51 : Smaller then you think it will be.

sissy : Toaster Test
Saw that a couple of people had their nets break on the first use, usually with a pound or two. Given that I work second shift and I wasn’t able to head to the lake at midnight to test my net with actual fish, I decided to use my toaster as a weight. The net held up well, no bending, cracking, or ripping. So I consider this a solid purchase.
I’m also digging the fact that the net seems to be made of a silicone-ish material that hopefully won’t injure any critters.
Well, anymore than the hooks already do.
Leave me alone. I have a guilt complex when it comes to fishing.
Bill Ladlee : Must have for bait fish
Very convenient net, I use it to scoop minnows for bait. It comes with it's own carry bag! Very pleased.

Richard Odom : Will get the job done!
The next is compact and works great in limited space. The only down side is the length adjustments can be a little difficult to work. Overall it seems to work as advertised and I would not hesitate to purchase it again.
Eduardo R. Enriquez : Very portable and sturdy
Having a 10' pontoon boat, space is a premium. This well-built, sturdy unit, takes up a very small space. So far, I've brought in several 5+ lbs bass with this net without a problem. The aluminum handle collapses, which is very convenient when you need that extra length to reach the big'ens.
Brehil : Great so far
I like the nets size, weight, small storage and durability. I was able to even use it to bring in a 3ft bonnet shark so I could easily catch and release (Which was rather tricky considering the size of the shark to the size of the net). The build quality is amazing, I haven't used it for anything larger than about 20lbs but it seemed to hold up fine to that. I do wish the netting holes were bigger and that the handle was 3-5" longer.
Mel : Sturdy, compact and easy to use. But want more length.
This is the third net we have bought for kayak fishing. Our first (another type/brand) broke on the first use. The second (similar as well, we like but don't love. It lacks quality and we are hesitant to use because of it). This one is the best quality so far. Solid coated net. The folding it smooth/easy, and it's handle is strong and has a good place to clip to a holder. My only complaint is that the handle does not lengthen. I would like it to telescope out another 6-12 inches at least. Other than that, love.
Monahan : Working great so far!
I've taken this on a few fishing trips so far and it's been great! I love being able to keep it folded up until I need it. Definitely makes it less of a nuisance than a regular net. It seems to be sturdy and hasn't shown any signs of weakness in the folding joint or elsewhere. Great item for the price.
Cindy : Good net
Love this bet. I needed a replacement and it is convenient easy to use easy to store
bill : Fish lander
this worked great at landing fish 12 to 18 inches long while pole fishing. folds up nice and the strings are coated giving strength and durability.
also tried to use it tracking down some koi fish in my pond, very slow in the water to catch anything.
but a good net for fishing.
777hp-Honda : It’s good
Only wish it could extend
Easom chen : Crabbing
I use that to catch crabs
Shopper : Short and flimsy
I had to return it.
Lex : Nice!!
Easy lightweight and durable!
Timothy : It will do ok for my needs
Its smaller than i thought. Depth is fine. The lock can be difficult to release, other times it doesnt lock open and net folds up. Fits nicely in my storage and the rubber coating doesnt get snagged on hooks. It works.
Kathryn : For fishing
I actually accidentally bought this. Didn’t realize this was a huge net basically for fishing. My fish are barely a foot long.
Kayla : So easy to use and definitely deserves all 5 stars!
This net is durable, lightweight and SO easy to use! I took a video to show the ease of unfolding and folding it back up to fit into the carrying case. It’s perfect for anyone who loves fishing and my husband says it is worth ALL 5 stars!
Michael Rippie : Cheep built
Don't leave it in the sun. It will rot. Handel is way to short. Cheap china made junk.
MyOtherNewName : Great compact net
Very nice folding net. Great for the average size fish. 4 Stars because I Caught a 7 pound rainbow trout and it struggled a bit. I would recommend this item.
Brehil : Great so far
I like the nets size, weight, small storage and durability. I was able to even use it to bring in a 3ft bonnet shark so I could easily catch and release (Which was rather tricky considering the size of the shark to the size of the net). I do wish the netting holes were bigger and that the handle was 3-5" longer.
Melissa huff : Just get it you need one.
Im sure i couldnt sit on it but its pretty sturdy. I wish it had a caribiner so i could clip it to my bag while i walk and fish along the bank.

Jeffrey A. Fong : Decent net for smallish things.
Light and compact. Bear in mind the friction collar which you use to adjust the length of the shaft can get jammed with grit or sand and can be difficult to clean - a consideration if you're planning to use this at the beach. Otherwise, a decent net for, say, crabbing.
Johnny T : Great for catching smaller fish.
Not deep or sturdy for bigger fish.
Amanda Lyons : Cute net for kids
I got this for a present for a 10 yrs old boy and he absolutely loved it!
Will : Great if You Don't Fish Heavy
Used this for about a month or two and it already bent from an 8lb catfish and then the plastic at the "Y" part of the net broke. This is not meant for larger fish. If you are fishing 3lbs and lighter, will work great but anything more will break it.
Gabe O. : Unreliable net
It came apart and wouldn't reattach To net cinch part where it screwed In separated ,dont buy junk. And only used twice.
SAMIR MUSA VALLE : functional
Is okay
Timothy : It will do ok for my needs
Its smaller than i thought. Depth is fine. The lock can be difficult to release, other times it doesnt lock open and net folds up. Fits nicely in my storage and the rubber coating doesnt get snagged on hooks. It works.
Peggy Norris : Lightweight
I think this will be great for pulling fish out of the water.
Bobby K. : Broke After First Use
i purchased this net as a back up and tried to use it for the first time. The net frame snapped from the arm the first time I opened it up. Its an inexpensive net for a reason I guess. Very disappointed. I am surprised by the other reviews as this appears to be more than just a one-off issue.

Big Chief : Great Kayak Net
This is a great dip net to keep in your kayak. It is small enough to fold up and store under your seat or center console. The net is rubberized so getting hooks tangled is cut way down. Money well spent!
L Major : Great for any fisherperson
Great help when I'm fishing. Exactly what I needed and not bulky or heavy.
Norm : Nice alternative.
Very impressed with the feel of this. Nice and compact for my kayak.
Fetsis : Easy to use, stores compactly
Great net for fishing while wading or out of a kayak. Easy to unfold and deep enough to hold moderately sized fish quite easily. Not suitable for larger species, but certainly not designed to be landing 50" muskies either. Nice net!
Millie : Nice net for frogs.
Perfect for my daughter to catch frogs with. I love that it folds up. It doesn’t take up any room. We haven’t used it for fish yet
Lezhi Jiang : Affordable and with good quality
I am very happy to purchase this fishing net, which is foldable, compact and very portable. This is the perfect length, the triangle mesh is suitable for the space of big fish. If you need it, then buying this is worth the expense.
Koko : An excellent folding net
I'm a beginner fisherman, so the following review is my initial impressions out of the box, with no experience using it in actual fishing yet. I will update the review as needed following actual use in the field. OOTB, the item is excellent, with very good quality fit, finish, and functionality. It's very light, and has a couple of nice appointments. The net does not have a ring all the way around, leaving a net-only lip on the top that I imagine will make getting the fish into the net w/o damage easier. The folding and telescoping mechanisms seem sturdy and operate smooth and easy. I especially liked the locking mechanism once the net is unfolded - it looks to me like it won't/can't fold up on you unexpectedly.
Bill Ladlee : Must have for bait fish
Very convenient net, I use it to scoop minnows for bait. It comes with it's own carry bag! Very pleased.
