Questions about KastKing Fillet Knife, Razor Sharp G4116 German Stainless-Steel Blade 5" - 9", Professional Level Knives for Filleting and Boning, Non-Slip Handles, Includes Protective Sheath.
Q:
I am looking at a manual sharpener what would you recommend?
Answer: Get yourself a Worksharp knife sharpener, either the orig one for $60, or the updated Ken Onion edition ($120), both are FANTASTIC. I’m TERRIBLE at sharpening anything, but this thing (I got the Ken Onion edition) has made it easy, quick and best of all, a “good knife sharpener” out of me! I don’t sell them, have no affiliation... I just like a good product when I get one, which is rare these days. Good luck.
Answer: I recommend going to your local harbor freight or ordering online and getting a 1x30 inch belt sander and getting some 600 grit bolts and a leather polishing belt for the sander too and you will have razor sharp knives all the time. Dont waste money on a work sharp. You can get the harbor freight set up and the belts for about the same price if not cheaper
Answer: Hi there,
Answer: Get a Norton crystolon or India stone and learn to free hand. You can get either for probably twenty online or in a hardware store.
Answer: This is a knife. If you need a sharpener I recommend asking the question on a sharpener listing. Good luck.
Answer: I use a 2000 grit stone. Great knife for the money.
Q:
How well does this hold a edge? Also after a couple sharpening does it still hold a edge like if it was new?
Answer: For those too young to remember great grandpa shaving with a straight razor, let me give you a quick education. RAZOR sharp knife means it will not hold an edge. The sharper the edge, the quicker it will dull. That's why great grandpa had a razor strop that he honed his beard cutting steel with every time he used it. A fine razor edge on a fillet knife is important, as is the knowledge that you must hone (not sharpen) the edge regularly to maintain it.
Answer: Gets real sharp when sharpened but Won't hold an edge for long. Even the guy at the knife sharpening store said it was a very soft blade. Not recommended for everyday use.
Answer: It does not....
Answer: Not for long.
Q:
What would be the best sharpening tool for this knife?
Answer: This is a large can of worms on this ask; I ask 10 folks, will get 10 answers. Since I was little, was taught to use an Arkansas stone, it's my comfort zone and haven't met a blade I couldn't hone yet. I've tried other methods, but for me, the stone is far superior. Technique and angle are critical no matter what your chosen poison for sharpening, practice, practice, practice.
Q:
Can a lefty use this knife or is the blade made for right handers?
Answer: I am also a lefty. It works well. Really solid knife for larger fish.
Q:
What is this knife's Rockwell Hardness? (please answer only if you know)
Q:
How does this knife do cutting through bones?
Answer: I wouldn't use it to cut through bones. That would ruin your knife. This is meant to cut meat away from the bone.
Answer: not sure any knife will cut bone
Answer: Went through rib & y bones in a salmon very easily.
Answer: It will cut through, but dull the blade after a few fish. It’s easy to sharpen after
Q:
Do the knives come sharpened out of the box? I see a number of complaints about dull blades.
Answer: I've always used the rapala's. I read the same as you but I still ordered. The knife has a nice non slip handle and mine came very sharp! Also in the box if you fill out a questionnaire you receive another knife or sharpener free of charge. Great deal now I have two!
Answer: It comes factory sharpened which is certainly adequate, but you’ll need to run it over with a sharpening steel to get a razors edge.
Answer: Hi Stewart,
Q:
Do these knives contain lead?
Answer: Hi Will,
Answer: Hi, it says it's made of stainless steel. however, when googling if stainless steel contains led it gives a varying of answers. Many of my Culinary friends use this product and we haven't head anything negatively from the teachers! I hope this helps..
Answer: The blade is lead impregnated. Cal Prop 65 approved! It holds a hella sharp edge.
Answer: No I don't believe they do. But what I will tell you is their built very well. Really sharp top. the only set back for me is .. Personally I like knife sheath that hang from the belt. And this one is designed for your belt to go þrough the body of the sheath. If you know what I mean. But ovèall I like it very much, and I feel like it's perfect for fishing, which is why I chose it. Made very well and definitely worth the price tag. thx
Q:
Is it dishwasher safe? Knife and sheath?
Q:
Does this knife really come sharpened?
Answer: It comes sharpened, but I touched it up before filleting fish. I like them sharp enough to shave and they are not quite that sharp. I cleaned a mess of catfish yesterday and they worked really well. I have 3 of these knives. The strong and the fillet in 9" and have the bait knife
Answer: My carving knife was “sharpened” but I’ve seen plenty of other sharper knives.
Answer: Hi Drew,
Q:
Would the 12’ slicing knife be good for carving a turkey?
Answer: Hi there,
Answer: I’ve only cut my brisket with it so far but plan to use it on my turkey this Thanksgiving. It does a great job on beef.
Answer: I believe so. It’s worked great for me on briskets, ribs, steak, chops and chicken.
Answer: Yea it would.
Answer: Absolutely !
Q:
How do you sharpen this knife?
Answer: with any standard knife sharpener. Amazon has plenty of options
Answer: Not sure. I usually take my knives to a professional knife sharpening service.
Q:
how well will the knife do against salt water? Will it rust, or corrode easy? I am an saltwater angler. Also how long is the whole knife
Answer: The knife appears to be quality made. It is described as "German Stainless Steel" so I would say with reasonable care it should hold up. No knife or any metal object for that matter will resist rust in salt water conditions without proper care.
Answer: It will rust like most steel in saltwater. This will be best avoided by rinsing off with fresh water and hit it with a little WD40 after every trip.
Answer: This knife is junk - period.
Q:
I'm confused on the differing reviews on this knife's ability to maintain its sharp edge. Does it stay sharp or not?
Answer: As with just about any knife you get, you’ll have to sharpen it after processing a few fish, especially if you are cutting through scales and/or bones. But you only need a few swipes across a sharpener, and it’s good to go! I found that it remained sharp through processing about 7-8 Alaskan Salmon (cutting scales and bones), before I needed to tune up the edge with a sharpener. Hope this helps!
Answer: It keeps its edge pretty good compared to other filet knives I’ve owned. It’s a good knife, but eventually it does need to be sharpened.
Q:
Does the sheath have a belt loop?
Answer: No it doesn’t
Answer: No it does not
Answer: No it does not
Q:
Is it full tang?
Answer: Hard to tell with soft handle, but it seems like metal runs through it
Q:
Could i debone a chicken with it?
Answer: You can debone anything with this awesome knife. I’ve only had it a bit but I’ve used it on deer and hogs and even fish
Answer: Not really it’s great to fillet a fish but too wide to debone a chicken...
Answer: While we advertise these knives for outdoors, we have had many people use them in the kitchen. They are great universal knives.
Q:
Does the size include the handle or the size of the blade?
Answer: Blade size.
Q:
Would the 12 inch slicing knife work well to cut through brisket and slice up ribs?
Answer: Yes it would work great for that
Q:
Can this knife cut hard organs?
Answer: Not sure what you mean by hard organs, but the knife does cut through, skin, muscle, tendons and other tissue very easily.
Q:
Would the 12’ slicing knife be good for carving a turkey?

Answer: I believe so. It’s worked great for me on briskets, ribs, steak, chops and chicken.

Q:
Which one is better this kastking g4116 or kastking white 8cr14

Hi there!!! do you guys ship them to europe? or just america?
Answer: Hi Fred,
Q:
What is the degree of the blade for Resharpening
Answer: 14 to 16 degree
Q:
How flexible or stiff is the 9 inch steaking knife?
Answer: Hard metal no flexibility .
Q:
What’s the angle of the edge?
Answer: The manufacture says it's 14 to 16 degree each side.
Q:
Is this made in garbage China?
Answer: Probably lol it’s a nice knife though, feels good in your hand awesome on 27inch drum and smaller fish
Answer: Probably half of what you think is made in America that you consider quality is made in China by American manufacturers that outsource parts. China has pretty good technology because they stole it from everyone else. Might as well take advantage of our own tech from time to time. If you find something comparable made here or in Europe, go for it.
Answer: I dont know if it is .. but I will tell you I dont think there is any way you could find a better knife for the price. We use it now on a regular basis on our boat in saltwater and had NO issues with it .. and its super sharp out of the box ... I think the key to most knives is to have them properly sharpened .. most people dont know how to and ruin the edge and then blame the knife ... I am buying a couple more as gifts .
Q:
Are these knifes Dishwasher safe?
Answer: Hi there,
Answer: Yes, but you shouldn’t run knives through the dishwasher. The heat softens the blade over time.
Answer: I'm not sure but I suspect they are since I've washed them (I have several) in hot, soapy water after letting them soak with no problem.
Q:
Does anyone have the offer code for the free item? Mine was thrown out when my wife was cleaning up. Thank you!
Answer: Nooe
Q:
Should I get the finesse version of the blade if for filleting fish usually 5 pounds or less? Finesse, regular, strong.
Q:
How's the backbone on this knife, stiff, flexible, or in between? I saw one review calling it in between I guess, do I have a second or a third?
Answer: Yeah In between is a good description for the knife. Great knife love it. Got to use it on some flounder and reds this fall and it did great
Q:
Will the 6 inch knife be good for trout up to 12 inches?
Answer: I think this knife would be fine. The blade length doesn't need to equal the length of the fish if you only intend to use it to clean and gut trout. I've used a pocket knife in a pinch, but you won't want to put that back in your pocket.
Answer: After using this 6 inch blade on smaller trout. I will be getting a 4 inch blade.
Answer: I personally think yes, I prefer not to use knives with too long of a blade for better control. I use fillet knives as part of my arsenal for large game as well. Of course, like potato chips, you can't have just one...just saying.
Answer: I think the blade is too long. I use mine to fillet Large yellowtail. Over 40” fish. Just my opinion.
Q:
doe's kast king offer a decent sheath w/ belt attachment?
Answer: The knife comes with a hard plastic sheath that has openings down the flat length from hilt to almost the tip. There is a tang at the hilt to keep the knife secured. Unfortunately there is no belt type loop incorporated into it. Haven’t had a chance to filet with it yet but it has an interesting rubber like material covering the handle which gives it a nice grip feel in hand. Not sure if the blade is stainless ( may say in the description) as it has a mat black coating. Hope this helps.
Answer: The sheath is nice. It’s a hard plastic with slotted vents. I don’t recall seeing a belt loop. The knife of now at our home in Mexico so I can’t check that. Quality knife for sure.
Answer: Yes it does
Q:
Which length blade would you recommend for filleting Crappie or Walleye
Answer: 5"
Q:
how is it?Does it work well?
Answer: Works great . Best as a bait knife or gilling knife . I use fir both !
Answer: When I received mine the blade edge wasn't as sharp as they said and the handle looks cool but the material it was made of seemed like it absorb smells from fish over Time so I returned it.
Answer: My brother is a meat cutter by trade and he loves this knife. He says it does a great job.
Answer: It is a nice flexible sharp knife.
Q:
When will the 12” carving knife be available?
Q:
what is the best way to clean it?
Answer: Like most knives and utensils warm soapy water is the best method. I would not recommend the dishwasher. If you’re in the field and use the knife rinse with clean water until you can use dish soap.
Answer: Mine was so dull with no edge when I got it. Tried to sharpen many times. Threw in the trash. Would not recommend- hot soapy water and white vineger
Q:
Does this have a Full Tang?
Answer: No idea but works better than any filet knife we have ever used for large fish.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Where is made?
Answer: Mainland China....
Answer: China

Product reviews of KastKing Fillet Knife, Razor Sharp G4116 German Stainless-Steel Blade 5" - 9", Professional Level Knives for Filleting and Boning, Non-Slip Handles, Includes Protective Sheath.
BW : Not the best knife for me
I find that the plastic becomes slippery when handling the fish. Also the cutting edge did not completely extend to the point of the knife so when piercing the skin at the head, extra effort is required to puncture the skin. Knife was sharp out of the box and I value the scabbard. The shape of the handle would be fine if the plastic did not become slippery.
Sam Rich : Good knife, dangerous sheath.
The knife itself is great, so, based solely on the blade, it's a good buy.
It is, however, horribly unsafe. The sheath has a lot of wide holes in it, as a stylistic choice. But, within the first 3 minutes of having the knife out of the box I gouged my finger because, and this is the important part, *if you hold the sheath by the sides when you put this knife away you WILL cut yourself.*
Not only that, but it takes a good amount of force to get it in, so you have to hold it very carefully before you store the knife.
Amazon won't let me upload my bloody hand but you get the idea.
Cannot imagine why they didn't just go for a simple, safe sheath. Only buy this if you are the only person who will use it and you are extremely careful each and every time you put it away.
AutoExec : Great purchase
I am really impressed with this knife. This is a very flexible blade. Those of you who like a little more stiffness should stay away, but I have managed to clean quite a few fish and I get beautiful fillets. The flexibility is especially nice for taking the skin off. In fact, if I really push it, I can take the skin off while leaving most of the silver skin. That wasn't intentional, I just didn't realize how flexible the blade was when I started.
Amazon Customer : Not sharp
Not sharp at all could barely fillet a fluke
javier torres : READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS, they're the real ones
DO NOT BUY!! TERRIBLE BLADE!! DULL!! Extremely dull and cheap blade!! Razor sharp? That's a complete lie. If you've ever felt a good blade it is extremely evident before even trying to cut something that this blade is cheap, very dull and will never be sharp no matter how much you try.
When steel is good you can feel it. This is also true when it's junk and you can feel it immediately. Just to be sure I tried to cut paper, see the video. An absolute joke. All the good reviews of this knife have to be paid or faked. Read the 1 star reviews. They are the real ones.
Niki : Kastking fillet knife
Kastking makes some awesome knives, I initially bought their bait knife and like it so much I decided to get their fillet knife. Blade is longer than I expected but well made and flexible also comes with a great grip on the handle and sheath. Would definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed.
Matthew Eanes : Fantastic Grip
I absolutely love the grip on this fillet knife. There are some that are way more expensive ($60+) that don't have a quality grip such as this one. Blade is very sharp right out of the package and I cut some fish with it today. I didn't need to touch it up at all, so time will tell on the quality of the steel, but I think it is a great buy at this price point.
Tohner Ville : Dull knife
Read the other 1 star reviews! It's true and the knife is very dull. I can't sharpen this knife and it's frustrating when you're trying to filet a fish.
I'm in the market now to get a new a new filet knife.

P.Wolf : First knife to break
I was out fishing on my boat I had this knife in the knife holder on my Magma Bait cutting station and went to take the knife out and it snapped in half. First time i ever seen a knife just break for no reason. This knife is over priced by 20x as it didn't even last 1 year.
Djacko83 : Fabric handle = terrible
This very flimsy blade has a soft fabric grip handle, that is porous and absorbent. Anyone looking to purchase this as a brisket knife, beware. The cleanability and quality of this item is trash. I returned and for the same price bought a food grade 12” slicer knife by dexter.. lesson learned.
Fsuleiman123 : Sharp! Great knife.
Love this knife. Good size, super sharp. Case helps keep it safe and put away. I only used it once but I hope it stays this consistent down the road.
PJM : Works Very Well
I bought this to seamlessly remove the skin from entire fish fillets from the grocery store and it works beautifully. It is razor sharp and the sheath is great for protecting the blade. It also seems like it would go through my electric knife sharpener well when the time comes.
Bookworm : Easy to hold but does not come sharp
This knife is a great size - easy to manage - good for both bigger lake fish and the smaller ones that you choose to keep. I love that the orange handle makes it easy to spot and that the cover clips on and doesn't just slide off. This came sharp enough to cut up an apple or pear... but not sharp enough o slice a very ripe tomato... which means it is not sharp enough to fillet a fish. The handle also seems to hold on to odors - which could be a problem in the long run when using for fish. This is advertised as a very flexible blade but I found it to be quite stiff.
Ty8541 : Almost perfect, but not quite
Love this bait knife. I’ve used it for everything from cut-bait, fish scaling, cleaning, and during an emergency to ave a pelican, line cutting. The lack of 5 stars is due to these improvements that need to be made. The little plastic tip, that hold the blade in the scabbard broke off almost instantly. There is also no way to really attach it a wader’s belt, or anything like. If it had a better scabbard, and a way to carry it, it would be an absolutely great all-purpose fishing knife
AMS : Sharp as a sword
Think I read a few reviews about it being dull...this sum bitch is sharp as a Samurai sword. Fits perfect, great size and it looks amazing. I don’t get the bad reviews, very sharp out the box. Great so far
Scott Geary : Razor Sharp? Awful
Was excited to use this fillet knife on a few fish I caught just days after it arrived. What a massacre! Besides the very point, the edge was completely dull. Impossible to cut with.
Happycamper : Winner-Winner!
So, like most folks during Covid, my Son-in-Law took up fishing. Didn’t have a fish knife, was using a big pocket knife. The fish filets...looked like it. Give him this one: hard to lose, due to bright orange; really great handle, says it really helps him guide the blade; and the fish filets look like an expert cleaned the fish. Winner-Winner, Chicken Dinner!
Throbbin Hood : Chuck Norris approved .
This knife could double as a ninja sword . Need to cut a brisket in half or a piece of brick with minimal effort then look no further . The handle feels better than a good reach around during a dry spell . Go for it and buy this knife you’ll display it for all your guest to see . I have cut a car tire in half and it’s still sharp .
David A. Ente : A very good knife
I’ve been buying a lot of kastking stuff lately, so when I needed a new fillet knife for my Cape Hatteras trip, I decided to give this a try. The handle is great, and the knife performed well on both red drum and bluefish. I did need to give the edge a little touch up out of the box, but once I got it shaving hair on my arm, it held it’s edge well through a week’s fishing trip. I firmly recommend this for anyone, and the function to cost ratio is off the charts. Look no further!
vickster : Great to hold, doesn't stay sharp
I was soooo excited to use this knife and it worked wonders on the first few fish and after about the 5th one being cleaned, it seemed to become dull. Not a happy camper, also would not buy again. I will admit, this knife is comfortable to hold, but no Bueno for staying sharp.
YouTube Product Reviewers : Excellent knife.
While I haven't used it yet it does feel good in the hand. Good quality and arrived semi-sharp. While its not dull upon arrival, you will need to sharpen it more to get easy cuts. Expensive but very giftable as well. I am happy with the purchase. 4 1/2 Stars!
SeekDestruction : Best filet knife I've ever owned...trust the reviews!
I read a lot of different reviews for various filet knives after mine that I've had for 20+ years would no longer take an edge so it was time to find a new one. The reviews of this knife were very good and I decided to order the 7" version as most of the fishing I do is bass and walleye. This knife arrived in a nice box with nice knife sheath for protection. The knife is extremely sharp which I assume most arrive that way but the main thing that impressed me is the balance and handle...awesome! Lightweight, easy to maneuver and won't slip out of your hand. Plus the blade has some great flex which is key to filleting a fish properly. Great knife and I'd highly recommend...buy it!
Marcus : Dull
Knife came out if the box very dull. Took it to get sharpened and was told that it was a very soft blade. Not worth using over and over again. Cheap knife.
Brittney Hammons : Dull.
I can't believe the 9" filet knife has the reviews it does. Hard to believe those claiming it is sharp has ever held a knife. Incredibly dull out the box. I will sharpen it and give it a shot, but don't really like buying a misaevertised tool I have to fix to remotely use for the purpose for which it is designed.
high milk fat content : Feels great in the hand. Grippy and sharp. Perfect for all sizes of fish.
A really wonderful fillet knife. Not sure you can beat it for the price. It's sharp right out of the box, the blade is flexible, I dig the black color, and the orange handle is grippy so you won't slip accidentally. Handle size is nice to hold. And thankfully, a useful sheath. Sometimes you get knives and there are no sheathes or awful sheaths, so I really appreciate a good one. My 7" one is perfect for filleting all sizes of fish outside of the biggest of them all.
Priscilla Mortensen : Honestly surprised
I haven't used it yet to Fillet any fish but i did try it out on some beef. The handle is very well made and really comfortable to use. The guard isn't some flimsy plastic to go over the blade it actually stays on the knife. Over all i am very impressed with the quality and price.
Trevor B : I would look elsewhere
It seems like a great knife out of the box, and feels very sharp, but on my first use of it, I had to saw the fish. It is definitely not a filet knife. Filet knives should glide through the meat to give you clean and accurate cutting, and this just doesnt do that
GrimmRoper : High quality and sharp
This is a fantastic knife! I'm planning on buying the 6 inch soon. I like the sheath the knife comes with as it protects it in the drawer. The blade is well made and really holds an edge. My knife came razor sharp right out of the box.
This is an excellent purchase.
AMS : Sharp as a sword
Think I read a few reviews about it being dull...this sum bitch is sharp as a Samurai sword. Fits perfect, great size and it looks amazing. I don’t get the bad reviews, very sharp out the box. Great so far
Capt. Butch Rickey : Great design!
KastKing scores again. This is a beautiful knife with good finger guards and a beautiful case that is ventilated and when returning the knife to the case it locks in place, so you don't have to worry about it falling out when you lean over the side of the boat to land a fish. Wicked sharp. Use fillet gloves! Capt. Butch
Mariah Sanders : Must buy!
To be honest I don't know a whole lot about what goes into making a good knife but I can tell you that this is far more then a good knife. It's solid, has good weight to it and and the handle is super comfortable. Most importantly though it is stupid sharp. I have purchased other products from these guys and all of them have passed my expectations. They definitely make high quality stuff and will for sure be purchasing the other sizes to the set.

Taylor : Surprised......unfortunately, disappointed
Bought the knife for use as a bait knife. Been using it 2x a week for the past 2 months or so. The knife sits in the slot on the bait cutting station on the boat. My son walked past it yesterday and brushed by the handle. Snapped the knife blade right off! Thus our disappointment. I can't justify buying another one with the risk that will happen again.
Fsuleiman123 : Sharp! Great knife.
Love this knife. Good size, super sharp. Case helps keep it safe and put away. I only used it once but I hope it stays this consistent down the road.
Eddie B. : Handles become discolored and begin to break apart
The knives out of the box were amazing. I own the 9, 7 and 6 inch. Each have great performance and great resharpening performance but, these handles need to go back to the lab. All of my handles became discolored, kinda moldy and breakage of whatever kind of latex ish material they used to cover them The don't hold up well to a lot of use and lots of washing in my experience. I would love an explanation as to why this is happening with these handles.
PrynceAl : Its all in the knife fa real!!
Never buy the walmart brand filet knives and u dont have to buy a Bubba...KK is the truth...I have been fishing for 35yrs and I just started cleaning my own fish like 2 weeks ago, this knife made me look like a pro.
Update 9/19/2021: On 2nd thought I still give this knife 5 stars but I found myself really questioning this knife when my friend let me use his Bubba...yea I returned the KK and ordered a Bubba. I had to do sharpening already on the KK only after 3 fish, I also didnt like the cutting action I had to do with the KK ....using the Bubba all I had to do was slide the knife thru the fillet....SOLD.
Osiris Infante : Really sharp* amazing feel
I added this to my collection of kitchen knives and can't be more pleased. I bought the 6" one, thought it would be smaller but size is just right. Design is pristine and feels like you're holding a quality knife on your hands. Needless to say. Cuts paper like it's butter.
Chris : Very sharp and very easy to grip
I love this knife! Even with wet messy hands, it was easy to hold. The Blade is extremely sharp and after a couple of uses, I have not noticed any change to that sharpness. I have the 9" and I am going to order the 6 or 7-inch knife to go with it for the smaller catches. I am very critical on these types of products and I was pleasantly surprised at how well this work at the price point. Great value and great product!
Amazon Customer : Worst knife ever!
This is the worst knife that I have ever purchased. Right out of the box it would not slice printer paper without tearing the paper. It would take a lot of work to put a sharp edge on this knife. Do yourself a favor and purchase a name brand name knife and stay away from this junk.
PJM : Works Very Well
I bought this to seamlessly remove the skin from entire fish fillets from the grocery store and it works beautifully. It is razor sharp and the sheath is great for protecting the blade. It also seems like it would go through my electric knife sharpener well when the time comes.
Kevin Vest : Great value in a filet knife
For the cost of the knife you can't beat the construction and characteristics of the blade. I'm a Texas saltwater guy so my knife as used on a variety of fish species in a tough environment. Flexible enough for the delicate fish with enough backbone for some of the tougher species. Holds an edge very well and is easy to sharpen with just a few passes over a straight edge. Proper care after use is important to keep the rust from the blade but there have been a couple time where I didn't follow through with my process and the blade has help up admirably to the treatment without showing any signs of rust. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this knife.

Leo Harrison : Must have! Incredible quality at a more than fair price
Must have for any serious outdoorsman. Great price and quality! This knife is not only great looking, but it feels incredible in my hand. Nice cover is a great bonus. The handle has a great wrapping on it that makes it feel like it won't slip when wet. This bad boy is RAZOR sharp out of the box. Excellent flex to the blade. Makes my old fillet knife feel like a piece of junk. I will definitely be buying more of these knives in different sizes. I am totally sold on KastKings products. Super fast shipping too.
