Answer: They are small like the same as any other net you would use to net large fish. It won’t work for netting minnows. I would say 1 inch by 1 inch

Answer: Great question! They are different sizes - there are four available - so they have different shapes and nets on them. The one that I got is the 64" largest, which has a rubber net, gold handle and more of an oval head. I think the 54" has the silver handle and more rectangular head, and the round is one of the smaller ones. Click on each size option to see if it helps clarify the pictures and sizes. I'd also report it to Amazon that the description and pictures are confusing, so they can clean it up and make it easier to understand.

Answer: The nets are great and took lots of abuse from lots of kids under age 5 but they always got put away at the end of the day. They stood up to bullfrogs, lots of sand and a few toys. Might last outside around the clock, handles are pretty sturdy too. Good luck.

I was very surprised when I opened the package to find that the quality far exceeds the low price on Amazon. The rubber is well joined together and stretches evenly. It is also very smooth and soft - important for the fishes protection and safety for catch and release. The handle seems sturdy and durable and even collapses down for easy storage. I am well pleased.

I have had this net for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. The only negative I found is that out of the box, it doesn’t float. I fixed that by filling the entire handle with pool noodle material and sealing off the ends of the hoop with silicon. It floats just fine now, and I don’t have to worry about my kids loosing it. So far I have netted up to 15-20lb fish with it without issue, but it also doesn’t seem too big for small stocked trout. The rubber is great to avoid dealing with tangled treble hooks. That is now a problem of the past. Just get one of these inexpensive nets and don’t look back.

I have landed well over 200 fish with this net, a 14 lb northern being the biggest so far, with no problems. Its pretty lightweight for a rubber net and easy to maneuver in the water. The hooks are alwayseasy to remove and no sign of corrosion or rot.

This net works great for landing those big catches! The telescoping handle makes it fit great in our boat. The rubber netting prevents hooks from getting tangled, which is so important! The large sized net works great for bringing in those large fish with ease.

The shipping was fast, and net is better than what I was expecting. now, it is a less expensive net, but the netting is a thick rubber net. better than my previous net. its light weight, which is really what I wanted. hard to hold a rod in one hand and a heavy net in the other. Is this the best net out there? nope! but for the price, it is a great net. durable enough to last several years. tip: cut about 12" of a pool noodle and tape duct tape it to the handle. so when you kick it overboard, it will float. :)

Replaced an old style net that the lures would get severely tangled. The rubber net was a great improvement. Perfect size and price was low. First time using it, we had 4 walleye on at the same time. We landed them all and had no trouble getting the lures and fish out of the net. Would recommend to anyone who still has an nylon net in their boat.

I was to cheap to buy one of these but I regret not buying it a long time agom I wasted so many hours on the old green nets fighting the hooks getting stuck. With this net you don't have that issue. Do yourself a favor, if you don't have this already get it.

This net has been a great replacement for our wire out, much more expensive nets. It is a quality product, has plenty of reach and a good size bucket for grabbing fish on the side of our bass boat. Very nice net material, doesn’t hold fish slime or hooks like other net material. It is not super compact, nor does it have the ability to adjust handle length, but for the price, that is not a fair deterrent.

Love this net, especially for the price! Unit seems strong and the rubber netting is great. Neither the fish or lures get tangled in it at all like all the conventional landing nets I've used in the past. First time out we limited out on 18 walleyes with 3 guys and threw a lot back, so the net got plenty of use! Net is not super deep, but we never missed landing a fish. If I had any concerns it would be the 56" overall length (35" handle) which may not be long enough for some boats or anglers, but really worked great for us. Highly recommend!

This is a great fishing net. I got it because I often fish from a deep V boat and need some extra reach. This net works perfectly and doesn't harm the fish nearly as much as a normal net would. It works perfectly for medium sized fresh water fish (Bass, Walleye, Pike, etc.). I would NOT recommend this net for anything much bigger such as Lake Trout, Salmon, or anything bigger simply because its not nearly long enough and there's that chance that it could bend from too much weight. Use it for fish under about 15 pounds and you won't be disappointed!

Best net for the price - don't waste time or money getting ripped off at Academy - get this net - it doesn't float, due to design of holes in metal that allow water to penetrate, but it will give you a second or two to gather it back if it were to fall.
Emma : Wouldn't buy it again
Much heavier than I expected. When I got it, a fourth of one side of the net was not around the hoop frame. Took out the screws but couldn't get it apart so had to use wire ties to hook the net on right. Net seems durable enough but not able to hold larger fish. 3 months in the field and the frame is bent from a 25lb catfish.

Solid and sturdy but WAY heavier than it looks. Really not nimble enough to catch my chickens but the THREAT of the net is all mine need to do what I want. It's rock-solid though. Just build up your arms if you want to try swash-buckling with this beast!
Rutablavsky : 1 1/2 Years of Hard Use- Banged Around On Shore- Still Works Great
I ordered this net in October of 2019. I fish like 2 to 3 times a week. It has been banged around on rocky shores, netted countless hundreds of walleye, bass, wiper and and even a few catfish over 20 lbs. I am very pleased. I was actually trying to find this purchase to recommend this net to a friend, and found I had never written a review. It definitely deserves one! This is the ideal net for walleye if you are fishing jerkbaits or cranks and want to quickly and easily remove a lot of hooks from your net. I have found this net is not great with pike or musky that like to twist up in it. Absolutely perfect for walleye, though. And it works great for catfish up to 30 lbs. too.

Anyway it felt wicked cheap. I returned and bought a Bubba which will be the last net I buy. It’s unbelievably well made. So it’s a little pricey but its built incredible
