We bought two of these to replace our thin-meshed nets that only best at getting tangled in our hooks.
Thus far we have used them to net rainbow trout, flounder, redfish, and speckled trout and they have worked great. I except if you hook something really big the size might be a problem but I suppose that's a good problem, right?

I liked the price. Goes to show, you get what you pay for. Am tired of having nylon mesh net get hooks caught up in and fighting getting them out. Saw this and it has all the things you want with magnet and latching system, cord, and Rubber clear net. The wood around the rim and handle is cheap and thin which is why when i opened the box upon delivery, i was surprised and then not surprised to find wood split at the handle. not even out of the bag.

This is a nice fishing net. It feels sturdy and it extends. I got it to play with the guppies and stuff in my creek in my backyard. You could also use this to fish trash out of your pons and creeks. The net feels solid and it is easy to use.

I got this for my son, and wasn't sure what to expect - I'm impressed.
The handle is made of wood - nicely done as a nice tennis racket would have been made years go.
The net itself is made of a white-translucent rubber, with smooth connections (no knots).
It's really nice.
We gave it for Christmas, so he has to wait 'til the water is liquid again, but I'm sure he'll be knee deep with it, come spring. Glad to have it!

Off the bat, the materials look great and feel strong enough. This is my first rubberized net so I don't have anything to compare it to with regards to the net material itself. The one concern I have, although not a reflection on the product, is how well these rubber nets hold up to be snagged on trees and bushes as I push my way up or downstream along the banks. I guess I'll know as soon as I get out there and will report back should I have any issues.
The wood frame looks nice but obviously, time will be the judge of how well it was made and how good the varnish holds up. It feels decently strong enough for the size fish I generally catch and is lightweight and feels good in the hand with the eased edges.
The brass hardware at the handle looks a bit dainty but that doesn't mean it won't hold up. We shall see. The chrome clasp and black elastic shock cord are very standard issue, so nothing too exciting there. I do appreciate that the carabiner and the magnetic keeper are included - definitely nice to have.
Fit & Finish:
Fit and finish are fine but not great. I see drips of dried varnish and what looks like a piece of debris dried into the varnish along the edge of the hoop. There's a clear chip in the varnish at the base of the handle near the brass hardware piece. None of which are a big deal but it does feel as these are rushed out with little or no quality control.
The stitching looks decent and appears to be made of nylon. The rubber net is attached to the wood frame with the stitching approximately every one-inch or so. Hopefully, that is sufficient.
Overall, it's a solid-looking net. I hope to get out to the water in the next weeks and will report back with any issues.

I haven't gotten to use this on the stream yet, but overall I was impressed with it. I compared this with a fairly expensive Phantom net that I've been using for several years now. This one is considerably smaller, and as a result the weight is a bit less. It will make for a very good trout net (at least in Iowa). I really like that this net came with the magnetic clasp. That's something that we added to my Phantom after the fact, and it's great to have the net on your back and out of the way. The provided magnetic seems to be about the same strength as my current one so it seems to work well. To attach the magnet FunVZU used a velcro strap that's fairly loose. I'm not sure I trust that, so I'll be replacing it with a heavy duty cable tie (aka zip tie) like we did on my Phantom net.
It the pictures my Phantom is the golden brown colored, larger net. You'll notice that the FunVZU net has more attachment points distributed around the handle for the net. This is a good thing. However, I had to knock a star off my rating because of the attachment string. First, they missed one hole on the net for attaching. Can't tell if the string ended up being short or the person stringing it just messed up. It's not a big deal though because the next attachment was pretty close. Second, the attachment string appears to just be some sort of twisted string. It doesn't appear to be a synthetic material, but I could be wrong. As a result, I question how long the string will last getting repeatedly wet. The Phantom appears to use some sort of coated or filament string and it's never had an issue. And finally, the method for securing the ends of the string isn't very pretty/polished. They basically just tied a single overhand knot and called it a day... Would have been nice to see the ends of the string tucked into the handle or welded together in some fashion.
One other nit-picky thing about this net is that I wish the bungee cord on the end of the handle were just a little longer.
