I was surprised to see how nice this net actually was when opening the package. I wasn't expecting such a nice net for what I paid for it. It seems to be well built and a sturdy little net. It is also a nice size. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving but not this time. The only thing I worry about is the metal bending where it expands if someone were to lean against it. I have kids so our stuff goes through a lot of wear and tear.

The flat bottom of the new makes it easier to see critters we catch and to release them back to nature.
