I have used this on several occasions to catch young chickens that I can’t reach in their large brooder. It’s safe and efficient and sturdy fir this purpose. Sometimes telescoping handle loosens but I just tighten it up.

This is a fantastic net for catching small critters. My kids and the neighbor kids have been using it to catch frogs and lizards for about a month now. We live in Florida, so they are very prevalent around our houses. Of course they always let them go after catching them. I am hoping to take this net to the local state park to catch sea life, to examine and feel, then let go. We really love this net and highly recommend it.

My 12 yr old son uses this net to catch frogs. He really likes it, especially that is deep enough to keep them from jumping out as easily and strong enough that it doesn’t bend with the weight or strain the net. It is also extremely light. The weave of the net is looser than a fine mesh. Some tiny creatures may be able to fit through it, but my son has easily scooped up tadpoles with no problem. It would be nice if the handle was able to extend to an overall longer length.
