Is this scale waterproof?

How well do the grippers work & how accurate is the scale? Looking to get answers from someone that has put theirs to use

Answer: Grippers work great. Used them again today to grab one and two catfish at a time. Scales seem to be pretty accurate from what I can tell. I tested them and the were within a couple of ounces. Who knows which one was off.

Answer: I’ve had this about a month and it works well. Grippers hold a 5lb feisty bass without letting go. Scale measures repeatably each time but I haven’t checked the accuracy against a known weight. I would recommend the purchase.

Answer: Grippers work good on smaller fish.. broke mine on an 80lb blue

Answer: My husband said it works great. He uses it every time he goes fishing.

So I bought this as a birthday present. It came quickly, and the amazon delivery person left it at the door with a picture. I open the package , and it seems as though this has been used! The box with the scale was open and the batteries removed. The dehooker also is not the same one as advertised. It’s much shorter. So disappointing!
