Is this scale waterproof?

How well do the grippers work & how accurate is the scale? Looking to get answers from someone that has put theirs to use

Answer: Grippers work great. Used them again today to grab one and two catfish at a time. Scales seem to be pretty accurate from what I can tell. I tested them and the were within a couple of ounces. Who knows which one was off.

Answer: I’ve had this about a month and it works well. Grippers hold a 5lb feisty bass without letting go. Scale measures repeatably each time but I haven’t checked the accuracy against a known weight. I would recommend the purchase.

Answer: Grippers work good on smaller fish.. broke mine on an 80lb blue

The box had a spot for two AAA batteries which were not there!! The instructions were crumpled into a ball of paper!! The scale was used and returned but Amazon re sold it to me! I go fishing this Friday so I DON’T have time to return it and get a new one? This has been happening more & more lately? Don’t mind if they would actually have a look at what there reselling ? This made me very unhappy! Especially after just buying the Lew’s most expensive Rod & Reel set they sell??

Not the most well made items out there. The lanyard will be likely useless for it's to short and flimsy. The hook gripper is very short as well, and the scales are cheaply made. Don't let the 100# weight limit fool you. They wouldn't allow for that much weight if you wanted them to. not worth the money I paid for them. Disappointed to say the least.

What can I say but that everything works as expected. I was at first concerned that the grippers might not hold the fish well but they do, from small to larger bass. The scale is accurate and the hook remover works well, too. I consider this a good purchase!
