I've tried this for a couple of days now. After about a day or two some of the vacuumed sealed things because un-vacumed. Works pretty well ok the surface but kind of hard to operate. The bags tend to slip and slid and if you dpnt have them lined up perfectly with the machine it will not work right. Seems like this is not built to last but I will check back in a couple of months with an update.

I was tired of using a hand pump and the re-useable bags so I went and got a new automatic sealer. I love this one, it's very slim compared to some that I've seen at my friends houses. This one the bags are not stored inside of the unit and you can use any bag that has the ability to heat seal. It comes with an external hose for reusable suction. I've even used this for sous-vide and it works so much better than the hand pump. It comes with a roll of bags along with some flat ones. All big enough for most food uses.

This vacuum sealer is great. I am wondering why so waited so long to purchase one. It does a great job sealing my meats and veggies. I was able to season and seal quite a bit of different types of meat for storage in my freezer. My freezer is able to stack much more because of being able to remove from packages after purchase. I am now able to wait for sales on meat, buy in bulk and store. It is easy to use and easy to clean and store.

It is not louder or slower than those expensive machines and so far I have used it about 60 times and it worked just fine!! To accelerate to vacuuming, I have 2 and while one is working, I am fixing another bag for the other one. It works perfectly. I strongly recommend this! It is also small. I pile the two on top of each other.

I used this for a large purchase of meat and chicken. It is difficult to line the bag up in the tray area and close the lid and all be well. It sucks ok as long as you lined it up right. I prefer the food saver slip in area. I also tried to use our fresh seal bags I buy and the machine would not work at all with them which is important because those bags are much cheaper and what I use as replacements. Our Foodsaver machine had no issue with them. I am sending back and getting a Foodsaver. The extra $20.00 will pay for itself in replacement bags.

I should have researched this better but the description leads a person to believe that this is a FOOD SAVER brand, which it is not . If you have ever used the real food saver sealer, you will understand that this item does not compare to the real food saver sealer at all. My mistake for quickly ordering without looking more closely. This sealer works, but I have yet to see it completely vacuum out the air in the bags and I will continue to experiment with it. Hopefully it produces results and saves our food from freezer burn.
