Its actually a good scale. Better in every aspect than my previous rapala 50 lb scale. Feels heavy and stirdy, its rubberized and not plastic, and has a handle and ruler. Last two were not available on my rappala which was more expensive. One annoying issue is the viewing angle of the screen. If u look it head on it looks super bright and clear. If u look vrom ever 30 degree angle, cant see nothing. Keep in mind if u take pics of the camera while weighing fish

This has worked great compared to other scales I've used. Nice, lightweight, accurate and lights up which is great for night fishing. It has a power button to turn it on and off. Every now and then I'll notice it turned back on if its in my bag, so I try to keep it in a spot where nothing Is bumping against the power button. Highly recommend this!

Bought it to check the poundage of my compound bow. Works perfectly for this application. It holds peak weight and I’m able to hold it comfortably while drawing the bow back in the same fashion as using a release. I’m not worried about the hook slipping off the D loop. You have to go into the settings to set it up for holding peak weight (it’s easy, just read the manual).

Mark Crawford : Great item once I figured out how to set the peak hold.
I didn't see any instructions with the packaging but after looking at the FAQ on Amazon there was a question and answer on how to put the unit on PEAK Hold. I use this to set the draw weight of compound bows and it works great.

Very nice scale. Accuracy seems to be pretty good but haven't caught enough fish yet to determine any flaws or any inaccuracies. Bright screen and easy to read. I really like the built in tape measure and wish it was about 12 inches longer as I bought this primarily to use for stripers.

I am an inventor who needed to accurately measure elastic loads (3lb~7lb) on an evolving prototype. This beautifully engineered high-quality dead accurate digital scale worked perfectly as-is for these tasks.
Live Free : Quite accurate
I used this scale to calibrate a set of torque wrenches, after first checking it against a much more expensive Ohaus SD35 bench scale. I found that the two scales agreed within the precision of each of them over the full range of weights of which the fishing scale was capable. This scale functioned flawlessly and seems well made, given its low price. Of course, I have no way of knowing how well the scale will hold up with time, but at the moment I couldn't be happier with it. A great value!

I have been using this to accurately measure my peak compound bow weight. Very nice and easy to use. Seems to be pretty tough and I don’t have to be afraid of it breaking and dry firing my bow even at 70lb draw.

DAH : Works with Luggage
After being in Auckland NZ and having to open my overweight suitcase at the ticket counter to remove items for a flight to Sydney, I decided needed something to keep a repeat affair from happening. Easy to use, and its measurement matched the airline the next time I hit the Delta counter. Exactly what is needed to keep you from over packing. I know it says "Fish" in the title, but it works on anything that you can place the hook on.

The scale will work up to 110 pounds. The tape measure functions well. My only complaint is that the hook, which has a place on the back of the unit for storing to keep it from getting caught on things, can be a little hard to release. But all in all, a very good product.

Great fish scale. Seems to be very accurate. It is easy to hang a fish and the readout display is large and easy to read. I wish I had upgrades from my old spring-scale years ago. This is a must have in my tackle box when I head out for an afternoon on the water.

Needed a scale for fishing and as a bonus, it came with a tape measure. First time I took it with me fishing, I caught a 2lb and a 3lb bass! It was great to see the extra details of my catches and it was a decent price too!

Please note that scale weighs in pounds and tenth of pounds as opposed to pounds and ounces. Also will weigh in Kilograms. Very fast locking in on accurate weight. Love this scale!

First I bought a highly rated here scale, and also all over the interned in reviews that say AD, hmmm. It was disappointing it was cheaply made and did not work well for me. It had to be perfectly steady to lock function and would lock before full weight was measured having to be reset.. This Fish fun scale has several settings for locking or not locking weight that I like for dynamic use. I like using the max load lock or lock off. It is well made accurate ( I tested it with weights). Worth a few more bucks. Caveat you want a cheap scale that does not work or a bit more expensive one that works... LOL.

Well, y'all probably would use this gizmo for weighing you fish but I don't. I use it for weighing goats. Kid goats that is. Right after they are born. I get the tare weight of my bucket and plop the little critters in there and sing to 'em so they stays still long enough for me to record the pounds and ounces but i could also weigh them in KILOGRAMS and such if I knew what that stuff meant. That info is recorded onto its birth certificate for posterity. WORKS REALLY SWELL for weighing goats! If you sang to a fish would it stop flopping around?

Haven't used the tape measure cuz there isn't much to measure on little kidlins but THE TAPE MEASURE LOOKS STURDY ENOUGH to hang a dead chicken on without having to worry about it breaking and falling on an ant hill.

I don't use the measuring tape. Fish won't hold still that long. The handle is strong and easy to grip with wet, sometimes slimy hands.

I use this to weigh my LP tanks to gauge how much gas is left. I have verified the accuracy with a digital bathroom scale and it seems spot on. I like the hold feature of the scale so I can set the tank down and then read the weight. The measuring tape is handy too.

I bought this scale to measure extinguishers. The extinguishers weigh between 5lbs and 50lbs. So far I have been very pleased with the scale. It seems to be very robust and easy to read. This is just what we needed. We use it to calibrate our fertilizer output before using our strip till machine. We set our monitor to output 25 pounds of product and use this scale to measure the product until we're right on. Carry it in the tractor all the time. Very accurate and simple to use.
