I have been using this to accurately measure my peak compound bow weight. Very nice and easy to use. Seems to be pretty tough and I don’t have to be afraid of it breaking and dry firing my bow even at 70lb draw.

I used this scale to calibrate a set of torque wrenches, after first checking it against a much more expensive Ohaus SD35 bench scale. I found that the two scales agreed within the precision of each of them over the full range of weights of which the fishing scale was capable. This scale functioned flawlessly and seems well made, given its low price. Of course, I have no way of knowing how well the scale will hold up with time, but at the moment I couldn't be happier with it. A great value!

Well, y'all probably would use this gizmo for weighing you fish but I don't. I use it for weighing goats. Kid goats that is. Right after they are born. I get the tare weight of my bucket and plop the little critters in there and sing to 'em so they stays still long enough for me to record the pounds and ounces but i could also weigh them in KILOGRAMS and such if I knew what that stuff meant. That info is recorded onto its birth certificate for posterity. WORKS REALLY SWELL for weighing goats! If you sang to a fish would it stop flopping around?

Sturdy. Weighs a bit more than I expected, but not enough to be a problem for a bank angler to carry. Hook size is about 1/8" thick (I didn't mic it, so that's approximate) and the hook gap opening is 1 1/8". This is NOT balance beam accurate, but is good enough for my purposes: I weighed something that was 2.35lbs on a butchers scale and this unit called it 2.30lbs. 5/100ths of a pound on a 2+ pound object is good enough for me.

I use this to weigh my LP tanks to gauge how much gas is left. I have verified the accuracy with a digital bathroom scale and it seems spot on. I like the hold feature of the scale so I can set the tank down and then read the weight. The measuring tape is handy too.

Brought it out saltwater fishing. Saltwater killed it after 2 uses. Maybe its good on a calm day, where you are not catching a lot of fish, and can keep it in the wheelhouse and run in and out to get it, but DO NOT ALLOW 1 drop of saltwater on this thing or it goes kaput.

Just got this digital scale, so the jury is out. Plan to use this to weigh my fish catches. But I can say about my initial impressions, I am happy with the green screen backlit readability, the rubber coated case and handle, and the compact storability. Strong and just the right practical size.

it can be calibrated. you would need a certified weight, which means paying a scale tech. but most fish scales don't even have the capability. works perfect. very accurate, has settled several size arguments.

This thing isn't waterproof and it's very heavy.. probably not the best choice for normal fishing... If your typical fish is less than #100 then you should go much lighter. -2 Stars for weight

Accuracy is good, but Just over a year after I bought it the scale failed. I thought it just needed new batteries, but when I opened it the terminals were rusty. I used a wire brush to remove as much rust as I could, lubricated the terminals with dielectric grease and inserted new batteries. No joy. The thing is dead.

Sturdy. Weighs a bit more than I expected, but not enough to be a problem for a bank angler to carry. Hook size is about 1/8" thick (I didn't mic it, so that's approximate) and the hook gap opening is 1 1/8". This is NOT balance beam accurate, but is good enough for my purposes: I weighed something that was 2.35lbs on a butchers scale and this unit called it 2.30lbs. 5/100ths of a pound on a 2+ pound object is good enough for me.
I haven't had it long enough to make a call on durability, but so far, so good.

I like that it has a little more weight in it ass as compared to the other well known names. Weighs heavy enough to check your baggage so to not get dinged when flying. We thing it will be great for weighing our six and eight lb crappies here in The Great Fishing Holes of Missouri ( if we can catch em) Really it does seem to a better quality of a less expensive scale

This is just what we needed. We use it to calibrate our fertilizer output before using our strip till machine. We set our monitor to output 25 pounds of product and use this scale to measure the product until we're right on. Carry it in the tractor all the time. Very accurate and simple to use.

I like the multiple function it comes with especially with the back light. The scale was quite accurate from the factory. I calibrated the scale by hanging a 5lb weight to the scale and it read 5.20 with the chain.
I was able to get a very close estimate of my bow's draw weight. I it set to peak and pulled back my compound bow. The reading was very close to what I had it set at the bow shop.
