I bought this scale over a year ago. First off, It’s still working, and it’s just as accurate as it was the very first day I used it. After countless drops from hanging the hook on my belt loop. Or leaving it in my car in Oklahoma’s hundred degree plus summer days. I also work in the produce delivery industry. So I use it all the time weighing stuff at work. I still also haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. So this scale has received more abuse, and use than any other fishing scale. I think it’s very easy and simple to use. The only negative I can really say about it is. The tape measure is pretty difficult to get out, and use. Some complain on here that the hook is hard to get “unhooked” from its place on the back of the scale. If you will put the hook it’s holding spot on the back, and remove it a few times. It gets a lot easier to remove after a few times of doing that. But other than the tape measure problem, I love it!!! I sure wish everything else in this world would work just as good as this scale works!!!!! I will be buying another one when this one does finally wear out.

I have been using this to accurately measure my peak compound bow weight. Very nice and easy to use. Seems to be pretty tough and I don’t have to be afraid of it breaking and dry firing my bow even at 70lb draw.

A little tricky to get the sequence : turn on , then hook up to the fish (or in my case the lip grapper) to get a weight. But, the numbers are easy to read. I bought an extra for backup. I don't use the measuring tape. Fish won't hold still that long. The handle is strong and easy to grip with wet, sometimes slimy hands.

This thing is actually VERY ACCURATE. *Within a hundredth of an ounce* (from my math. Reads like 1.5lbs instead of saying pounds and ounces, but do the math, test it on dumbells and 3-5oz sinkers and you'll see. I used this scale to calibrate a set of torque wrenches, after first checking it against a much more expensive Ohaus SD35 bench scale. I found that the two scales agreed within the precision of each of them over the full range of weights of which the fishing scale was capable. This scale functioned flawlessly and seems well made, given its low price. Of course, I have no way of knowing how well the scale will hold up with time, but at the moment I couldn't be happier with it. A great value!

Please note that scale weighs in pounds and tenth of pounds as opposed to pounds and ounces. Also will weigh in Kilograms. Very fast locking in on accurate weight. Love this scale!

I am pleased with the quality and function of this scale. I don't catch big fish but will use it to weigh larger items like luggage, and to test the accuracy of my inexpensive (non-professional grade) torque wrench. I lashed two 25 lb dumbbells together and weighed them twice. Once the scale read 50.3 and the second time 50.4. I find this level of accuracy to be more than satisfactory since the rope I used would have bumped the measurement up just over 50 lbs. The display is well-lit and easy to read. Someone commented that you have to hold the weight up for too long before it will complete the measurement, but I found that by holding the scale steady, it reached a decision rather quickly. I'm happy with this purchase.

I use this to weigh my LP tanks to gauge how much gas is left. I have verified the accuracy with a digital bathroom scale and it seems spot on. I like the hold feature of the scale so I can set the tank down and then read the weight. The measuring tape is handy too.

The scale looks very good. I appreciate that the company showed the quality pieces that they use inside of their scale on their website. That sold me. The molded plastic body and the handle both look and feel very solid. The only drawback to the scale is the battery cover. It's thin and doesn't feel sturdy.
Yes, they even included a tiny screwdriver to open the battery cover! It's a nice touch. I wish there was a place on the scale to hold the mini-screwdriver. The cover screw attaches to a metal sleeve imbedded in the plastic. It's not just screwed into plastic. But when I opened it, the screw that holds the cover fell out. I was being careful, but not careful enough. I found it, but if I was changing batteries in a boat or in a cabin, it would have been lost for good, and I would be putting duct tape on the back of my scale to hold the cover on.
I wish the battery cover had a rim around the edge and had a water resistant silicon gasket. It would be stronger and maybe moisture resistant. The battery cover on my unit is flexed a bit and doesn't fit perfectly flush. I hope moisture doesn't get inside.
The display is very bright, backlit green. It looks great indoors, but I didn't try it outdoors in the sun. I lifted a 5 gallon bottle of water and it felt solid. It seemed to give a good reading. When it stabilizes, it beeps and holds the reading until you push the tare button.

I didn't see any instructions with the packaging but after looking at the FAQ on Amazon there was a question and answer on how to put the unit on PEAK Hold. I use this to set the draw weight of compound bows and it works great.

I've owned quite a few fishing scales, both analog and digital, and this is, by far, the finest. It's accurate, repeatable, and well-constructed. Just using it inspires confidence that the reading you get can be trusted and that the scale is built for the long haul. If you want the cheapest digital scale you can buy, then keep looking. But if you want the best value for your money, this should be on your short list.
If I could change one thing about it, I'd get rid of the tape measure. The opening makes the scale more susceptible to water intrusion, and the 39" (1 meter) tape measure is of marginal quality and too short for a scale that goes to 110 pounds.

Sturdy. Weighs a bit more than I expected, but not enough to be a problem for a bank angler to carry. Hook size is about 1/8" thick (I didn't mic it, so that's approximate) and the hook gap opening is 1 1/8". This is NOT balance beam accurate, but is good enough for my purposes: I weighed something that was 2.35lbs on a butchers scale and this unit called it 2.30lbs. 5/100ths of a pound on a 2+ pound object is good enough for me.
I haven't had it long enough to make a call on durability, but so far, so good.

Great fish scale. Seems to be very accurate. It is easy to hang a fish and the readout display is large and easy to read. I wish I had upgrades from my old spring-scale years ago. This is a must have in my tackle box when I head out for an afternoon on the water.

I bought this scale over a year ago. First off, It’s still working, and it’s just as accurate as it was the very first day I used it. After countless drops from hanging the hook on my belt loop. Or leaving it in my car in Oklahoma’s hundred degree plus summer days. I also work in the produce delivery industry. So I use it all the time weighing stuff at work. I still also haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. So this scale has received more abuse, and use than any other fishing scale. I think it’s very easy and simple to use. The only negative I can really say about it is. The tape measure is pretty difficult to get out, and use. Some complain on here that the hook is hard to get “unhooked” from its place on the back of the scale. If you will put the hook it’s holding spot on the back, and remove it a few times. It gets a lot easier to remove after a few times of doing that. But other than the tape measure problem, I love it!!! I sure wish everything else in this world would work just as good as this scale works!!!!! I will be buying another one when this one does finally wear out.

I just purchased a second one. The first one was involved in an unfortunate auto accident, and was submerged in water. So I had to replace it. Though no fault of the scale.

Its actually a good scale. Better in every aspect than my previous rapala 50 lb scale. Feels heavy and stirdy, its rubberized and not plastic, and has a handle and ruler. Last two were not available on my rappala which was more expensive. One annoying issue is the viewing angle of the screen. If u look it head on it looks super bright and clear. If u look vrom ever 30 degree angle, cant see nothing. Keep in mind if u take pics of the camera while weighing fish
