We use it primarily for luggage. Solid case, good quality, good accuracy. Able to lift heavy bags with two hands, with fingers at corners, thanks to wide handle (the handle on our old luggage scale was too narrow so we bought this). We also like that it uses AAA and not small button cells like other smaller scales. Highly recommended.

I bought this scale over a year ago. First off, It’s still working, and it’s just as accurate as it was the very first day I used it. After countless drops from hanging the hook on my belt loop. Or leaving it in my car in Oklahoma’s hundred degree plus summer days. I also work in the produce delivery industry. So I use it all the time weighing stuff at work. I still also haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. So this scale has received more abuse, and use than any other fishing scale. I think it’s very easy and simple to use. The only negative I can really say about it is. The tape measure is pretty difficult to get out, and use. Some complain on here that the hook is hard to get “unhooked” from its place on the back of the scale. If you will put the hook it’s holding spot on the back, and remove it a few times. It gets a lot easier to remove after a few times of doing that. But other than the tape measure problem, I love it!!! I sure wish everything else in this world would work just as good as this scale works!!!!! I will be buying another one when this one does finally wear out.

Brought it out saltwater fishing. Saltwater killed it after 2 uses. Maybe its good on a calm day, where you are not catching a lot of fish, and can keep it in the wheelhouse and run in and out to get it, but DO NOT ALLOW 1 drop of saltwater on this thing or it goes kaput.

Needed a scale for fishing and as a bonus, it came with a tape measure. First time I took it with me fishing, I caught a 2lb and a 3lb bass! It was great to see the extra details of my catches and it was a decent price too!

Bought this scale to test the "peak" breaking strength of various knots of 50 lb mono to 50 lb braid. Is fairly accurate from what I can tell. Also, has two other modes "hold" and what I'll say is "live reading". Large handle is good and for the most part made of a non-slip material. Nice scale for this application.

I used this scale to weigh trout while still in my net before I release them (obviously subtracting the weight of the net). This way one is not guessing the size of his fish. I compared the readings on this scale with 2.5 and 5 pound weights. The scale was extremely accurate. My wife an I also use it to weigh suitcases before air travel.
Live Free : Quite accurate
I used this scale to calibrate a set of torque wrenches, after first checking it against a much more expensive Ohaus SD35 bench scale. I found that the two scales agreed within the precision of each of them over the full range of weights of which the fishing scale was capable. This scale functioned flawlessly and seems well made, given its low price. Of course, I have no way of knowing how well the scale will hold up with time, but at the moment I couldn't be happier with it. A great value!

Perfect!!!! Couldnt ask for a more great design beeps when weight locks in and hold easy storage and got an easy 140lbs on a read out.

My scale at work breaks down all the time so when I bought this one, it served the purpose for part time use. I verified the weights first and it was very accurate. I reccomend it for professional use.

This product is heavy duty, rugged, and built for the outdoorsman. I use this for freshwater fishing only so I cannot speak for saltwater applications. The built in ruler has come in handy for the slots and the batteries provided have lasted me for 5 months. I have it matched with a fish gripper to make it easier and less harmful on the fish.

This thing isn't waterproof and it's very heavy.. probably not the best choice for normal fishing... If your typical fish is less than #100 then you should go much lighter. -2 Stars for weight

I've owned quite a few fishing scales, both analog and digital, and this is, by far, the finest. It's accurate, repeatable, and well-constructed. Just using it inspires confidence that the reading you get can be trusted and that the scale is built for the long haul. If you want the cheapest digital scale you can buy, then keep looking. But if you want the best value for your money, this should be on your short list.
If I could change one thing about it, I'd get rid of the tape measure. The opening makes the scale more susceptible to water intrusion, and the 39" (1 meter) tape measure is of marginal quality and too short for a scale that goes to 110 pounds.

I bought this scale to measure extinguishers. The extinguishers weigh between 5lbs and 50lbs. So far I have been very pleased with the scale. It seems to be very robust and easy to read. The scale that I used to buy were 3 or 4 times the price and not as accurate. I would recommend this highly. Thank you for your prompt service.

I am an inventor who needed to accurately measure elastic loads (3lb~7lb) on an evolving prototype. This beautifully engineered high-quality dead accurate digital scale worked perfectly as-is for these tasks.
Luke : Good for compound bow. Holds peak weight.
Bought it to check the poundage of my compound bow. Works perfectly for this application. It holds peak weight and I’m able to hold it comfortably while drawing the bow back in the same fashion as using a release. I’m not worried about the hook slipping off the D loop. You have to go into the settings to set it up for holding peak weight (it’s easy, just read the manual).
