So add says 2" wide ruler. Packaging says 3" and the description says 4.5".so what size is the width?

Answer: I have the 48 inch ruler and it is 4.5 inches wide. Great product . I have 3 of them on different boats and they look great and stick. Just make sure if you get blood on them the wash it off immediately. Hope this helps you.

Can you put this on a inflatable fly fishing raft?

Answer: Yes, you can. We utilize a proprietary 3m adhesive that is designed for the marine environment. We have also done a ton of rubber inflated boats.

I meed one 24" smae color as above , but my center box on my gheenoe LT25 isnt 36" and i dony want to cut it becauee of the beveled edge .. any help?

Do you have the cool gray / storm gray in embossed?

Answer: Yes, we can easily make them. Please contact us directly for more information.

Will it stick to non slip textured surface on the gunnel/gunwale?

Answer: Yes, it will stick nicely. Just understand, when it's time to remove, it will be a job getting it off of the non-skid. This backing tape is serious stuff.

Answer: As long as the surface isn't too rough it shouldn't have any issue adhering.

Have you created anything for a hobie pro angler kayak for measuring fish? given some of the space constraints in the cockpit area?

Answer: If you select the option that says cool gray over black that would be the one you're looking for.

How thick is the foam? Does it hold up well to cleaners with bleach? Color fade or foam degrade?

Answer: These rulers are 6mm thick which is right around 1/4" thick. It holds up well to cleaners with bleach, but best not to use straight bleach on the material. Although it doesn't hurt it immediately over time it can begin to degrade the material.

Answer: Thick enough. And nope doesn’t fade with bleach nor degrade. Great product and easier to clean than I would have thought

What's the difference between this $45 seadek and the $25 seadek also listed on amazon?

Answer: Our SeaDek rulers are 6mm thick and have routed inch marks as well as two-tone color options. The other SeaDek rulers are 3mm thick and single color options with lasered inch marks. Hope this helps and feel free to reach out to us directly if we can assist you further!

Is this permanently on boat or can it be easily removed?

Answer: It’s meant to stick but can be fairly easy to removed

How is ot with fading? Does the foam get dry and degrade? Does it get cut easily by the fins and scales? Does the tape stick well and hold?

Answer: I’ve had this on our boat for over 6 months now, no fading or cracking, foam still looks and feels as if we just got it, no cuts or anything from any of the fish we’ve put on it and the adhesive they use holds so well I don’t even think a grizzly bear could pull it apart

Answer: The pads are all CNC cut so they are accurate as long as the pad isn't stretched during installation.

Rocco : Would purchase again

The item is nice, and will do the job. Just a heads up though, the measurement lines aren't super accurate, but pretty close. If in doubt or its close, you better throw that fish back. Maybe carry a legit fish ruler. But this item will certainly give you a good idea without having to micromeasure. I would buy again.

When I saw these Seadeck foam rulers I knew that it was exactly what I needed for my flats boat. They are well made like all SeaDeck products and serves 2 functions. 1- measures fish (obvious), 2- tells me when I am nearing the edge of the top platform when fighting or netting a fish.
