Answer: I did not take the frisbee off. I saw instructions on youtube how to cast with one hand. It work perfect. I cast from a boat with one hand, frisbee on, and it open full spread every time. I love it.

Does not advertise that it’s supposed to be a frisbee type net. The frisbee sucks. I took the frisbee off and it works a lot better. I’m using it once and returning the net because it’s another bait n switch by typical Amazon seller

It didn't take long for the zinc weights to rust and stain the surfaces of our boat. Find a cast net that uses lead to prevent this from running your boat's decking too!

We used this about 10 times and it worked well until the metal ring fell off and it no longer sinched properly. Awaiting a response from the seller about how to rectify this. I would spend a little more money and get a better product.

What is this baloney : Not the net in the main photo

I opened the box, saw the ring and sent it straight back, I did not even bother to test it. Go with the super spreader brand if you want a traditional style cast net. I hope this review helps by preventing anyone making an impulse purchase of this product based on a photo that does not represent the actual product.

Important to read the description and look at all the photos. I didn't realize that there was a metal ring. Item doesn't come with instructions and there is no information on how to throw the net, except for the 4' net. If you don't know how to use the 8' net with the ring it is easily removable but the quality of the net isn't very good either. Just spend a little more and get a better quality standard net.

this was the best choice there was and you should definitely get this casting net, it is very reliable and even though its $25 it is for sure the best option. i got it and went to the beach and wanted to go fishing off a pier and deep sea and needed bait but other than buying the net itself it cost me nothing to get bait. the sinkers/weights are very helpful. if you do get this net a great way o use it is to go to the beach in the morning and look for schools and catch tons of bait.

I realize now that buried in the 163 character title are the words "aluminum frisbee" but the net in the pictures is NOT the net they sent me. If I'd realized ahead of time that it had the frisbee I never would have purchased this.

On top of that, the quality is pure garbage. After only 3 throws the net was tangled beyond usability, thanks to the aforementioned aluminum frisbee. Never again.

I know how to throw a traditional cast net. When this product popped up in my cast net search, the main image does NOT show that it has a weird aluminum frisbee at the top of the net. Supposedly, it's to make it easier to throw. However, this is not the case.
