It folds out to its extended position easily and then folds back with just a touch on the plastic sleeve on the end of the handle nearest to the net. The telescoping function works with similar ease. I wish it securely 'locked' into its doubled-up mode.

Like the idea that it floats dropped it in the water retrieved back no problem hooks don"t seem to get caught in the net easy to remove fish from net, very nice!!

I went with the olive green one because it matched my boat. It works fine however it could be better by making the net lock in place when folded. It currently swings around when folded, but for the price it’s better than some of the other nets that I looked at. I do like that you can open it with 1 hand, comes in handy when fighting a fish with the other.

I received this folding and expandable fishing net through the Amazon Vine Voice program. It is made well. Solid and sturdy design with a pole handle that extends easily and feels durable. The netting is rubberized feeling, and the metal frame for the net seems pretty sturdy, too. I also like the fabric reinforced around the edges of the net frame plus it is padded to keep the frame from getting beat up. I won't get to use this right away, but I feel it is a quality piece of equipment. Cheers!

Ok for trout Not good for snook or reds! Net is far smaller than I expected. Nice quality but small. Also the adjustable handle doesn’t work as well as it should. Very stiff.
