Good fishing net for our lake house. We don’t have muskies or anything so this works well for our bluegills and occasional Northern. The folding option is actually a nice touch for storage under the boat seats.

I purchased this net and three others for my grandchildren, who are new to fishing. Guessing that the possibility of one of them dropping the net in the river is pretty good a floating net made the most sense. Also the net is light weight so they shouldn't have any trouble toting it. Likewise as they're pretty young being sturdy doesn't hurt too.

I received this folding and expandable fishing net through the Amazon Vine Voice program. It is made well. Solid and sturdy design with a pole handle that extends easily and feels durable. The netting is rubberized feeling, and the metal frame for the net seems pretty sturdy, too. I also like the fabric reinforced around the edges of the net frame plus it is padded to keep the frame from getting beat up. I won't get to use this right away, but I feel it is a quality piece of equipment. Cheers!

It seems to be well made and the handle folds down in easy push of the latch. Basket is made of rubber so shouldn’t get snagged to much on hooks or brush while moving around on streams

My husband and son often walk to the small lake near our house to throw a line in and until now, never brought a net since we only had the larger one we keep in our boat. I ordered this net so they would have one on hand just in case they caught something of decent size and it has been great. The padded handle folds down and also extends to a longer length. It's not a huge net (11x15) but it's a good size for most fishing. The net itself is rubber coated and feels like it will hold up well. If you're looking for a travel net, this one should fit the bill!

This net folds up nicely for transport and is nice and deep when extended for catching, but is a bit bulky for wade fishing (like fly fishing). The foam handle extends to give you a reach of approximately 16" to 23". The rubberized texture is good for 'slimier' fish, like carp, catfish, and trout. The included clip and carabiner is an added bonus!
The only problem is the pin. It slips in and out... thus, allowing the net to fall out. Obviously, this only happens now and again... but you certainly wouldn't want this to happen while netting your big one!! So, I needed to replace the pin to something sturdier.
But, overall, it's a good travel net, especially if using in a small boat.
