Wow. For a brand I’ve never heard of, the expectations were low. But actually the reel is very nice quality. Smooth drag, big handle, well finished. Honestly I’ve had more expensive reels that weren’t this nice!

I haven't had the chance to use this since I received it from Amazon Vine. I didn't want to make the manufacturer wait for a review. I mounted it on a rod and went ahead and put some fresh monofilament. I did a static pull of the drag and it worked fine. I have no doubt when this is on the other end of a catfish it has it covered. I've been fishing for a long time and this is far from a cheap made reel. I've examined it eight ways from Sunday and I have no doubt it's not going to let me down.

Northern Lights : Well built, basic spinning reel.

This is a basic, but well built reel. I put this reel on an old rod, and after testing it in the driveway (fishing season opens in 3 weeks) I have decided this reel needs a new rod to go along with it. It's just way too nice for my old equipment.
This reel functions as well as any I've ever used, and better than some. It's extremely quiet and smooth, and I'm looking forward to using it soon.
I'm also hoping the big lake trout are out there are good and hungry.
