is this reel the z3 left hand 30 + lb max drag? I ask why I order from Italy and I would not like to receive the reel that does not match

Answer: It looks the same but you got to be careful they make the same real Z6.6 with a 22 pound drag for 200$ So make sure you double check the specs before you purchase

Biggest fish can you catch with this reel?

Answer: With 30 pounds of drag yellowtail, Dorado , salmon are all easy. Really depends on how long you want to fight the fish. I fish mine with 50# braid with 30# fluorocarbon top shot.

Answer: Just got back from Kodiak Alaska. Caught Pacific Halibut to 45 pounds with my "orange reel". Spooled with 30 lb test braided spectra line. I would estimate based on this experience a 60 pound fish would be possible. The people I fish with on Kodiak think my use of the small bait caster is almost a stunt of some kind, I think its the orange color. I enjoy the reel, mainly for coho salmon fishing in the salt water.

Can i use this reel for snakehead fishing?

Answer: Not into snake head fish. But I have caught

Does the spool disengage when casting or does it turn?

Answer: It turns.

What the real made of ?

Answer: Aluminum/Metal alloy with a three coat paint, similar to how a vehicle would be painted.

I could not see a right hand baitcaster z3. right hand stock arriving anytime soon?

Difference between concept z and concept z3? Is it just the drag?

Answer: Yes, the drag on the z is 23# I believe and the z3 is 30 pounds. I fish the Kenai with it last year boy was it sweet????

Answer: Maybe that as well. But also cranking ratio is greater with the z3. Bigger reel, more line capacity. Heavier built reel. I use mine for muskie

Does this come wih the power handle like the A3?

Answer: FWIW: I called 13Fishing and they said the power handle from the A3 will actually fit the Z3. Problem is that they don't sell it with the Z3 or separately AFAIK. What I am wondering is if there are other brand/aftermarket power handles that will fit the Z3

Answer: The Z3 reels do not have an extra handle like the A3. The Z3 reels have the double paddle as shown. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Answer: UPDATE: I found an awesome handle that fits the Z3 - search for "Gomexus Power Handle For Shimano Calcttta 200 Curado 70 - 200 7x4mm Spindle 75mm" using your favorite search engine and you should see some results for the item where can purchase off a popular auction site for around $20. LOL. The handle has been working out well.

Answer: Yes, the Z3 reels are out with limited availability right now. We received a handful of the Z3 reels when they were first released a while back. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Any idea if and when you'll get left hand models in stock?

Can i put 15 to 20 lb flouro on thia looking for a reel that can?

Answer: Yes you can, I have 200 yards of 50# braid on mine with 150 yards of 20# Fluor on top. This way you only need to change the top shot (Fluor) the braid will stay in good shape. Another thing is if you want another pound test you only need to change the top shot.

Loving this reel! Zero complaints so far! Took it out for the first time and this was my first catch. Pulled this Scamp Grouper off the bottom with Zero Problems! Super tough reel and great for making long casts!

I had my doubts about this reel, but I couldn’t stay away from it. I use Abu Revos and Shimano Calcutta’s for my swimbaits, but when I cast this the first time, I couldn’t believe it. Anyone who complains about it has to be looking for something bad to say. Outcasts any reel I’ve tried and I’ve tried a bunch. I am in no way disappointed with this reel. If you fish big baits and want more distance and a buttery smooth reel, grab one.
