What lb line does it hold?

Answer: I'm not sure what line it came with, but I respooled it with trilene 4 lb test. It holds almost as much as my old Shimano ax uls.

How much 8 lb braid and 4lb mono? would thinner braids damage it or no?

Answer: I have 10lb. Braid on mine which is equal to about 4lb. Mono diameter

can you buy an extra spool for the reel?

Answer: Don't buy this reel if you really want a working fishing reel.

I wanted to like this but I can't after one use. The line gets caught up in the parts, the bale closes too often when you cast it.
