Started off using rubber bands to keep my rods together and then I came across these rod savers. They work perfectly and make for easier transport. Highly recommended.

Don't waste your money on these. They fit terribly around the pole and in the event they actually hold together like they are supposed to, they are so bulky they cause more problems than they fix. Problem is more easily solved with a simple rubber band instead of wasting money on these.
