There is nothing wrong with these, as such, and they serve their intended purpose. However, they are kind of thick and bulky, which I don't care for. They were also too long, wrapping around the rods more than needed and adding to the bulk, but I cut them down some.

My husband and I used these for a road trip to AL this past Summer and they worked great for what they are intended for. We drove my RAV4 and don't have a lot of room to take a fully assembled fishing pole so we had to break them down and transport them with this Velcro straps. We used this along with another Amazon buy and it was a little tricky trying to make sure they worked well together, but we got it to work great once we found the proper placement for the straps. Would recommend for someone who takes road trips in a vehicle that doesn't allow for a full length fishing pole.

These are perfect for 2 piece fishing rods! They keep the pieces together as firm as you strap them without budging. I hiked a trail for 20+ minutes with 2 rods strapped with these amd had no issues! Definitely recommend!

These are great, glad I bought two sets. I have an not cheap setup on a couple rods. Bought reel covers to protect them, and when I break them down to transport, using rubber bands. These also protect the rings with the cutout's. Not to mention looks more professional. I am also pleased with the seller.

They are exactly as prescribed, maybe better. I received them faster then expected. The packaging was excellent, maybe an overkill. But these aren't complaints, I'm totally impressed across the board.

The straps work great. The soft padding they're made out of protects my rods and secures them to the rings on the side of my fishing backpack. The straps are actually slightly longer than I was expecting, but that's better than them being too short. It was easy to just wrap the excess strap around itself on the rod, so no problem, and the velcro holds it all tightly. They seem sturdy enough, I've pulled and stretched them, and don't see any tearing on the stitching or anything. I don't believe having them fall apart will ever be an issue. Plus, it comes with a bunch of straps, which means I have extras. I'm pretty pleased with them overall, and would buy them again if I ever needed more.

If I weren’t so lazy & tired I would go downstairs and take a picture! I dosed this AM and (only) took 4 rods for a Blackfish trip. These rod holders are different than what I bought last year. They are shorter, thicker & have different colors. Well worth every penny that they cost. If you are a fisherman and take more than 2 rods..... BUY THEM you will not be disappointed.
