I'm game.
It's funny you should say that, I just got done arranging my gear! I'm ready and this weeks weather is looking good. I'm off Friday....I'm game!
I'm down. Anybody know if "the new father who shan't be named" still fishes?

I live in palm beach county but I don't mind traveling. Lately I've been fishing broward and one spot in south palm beach. I've got some good private spots up in southern palm beach that for the past 3 weeks I've have been catching 10-20 fish in a couple hours averaging 2.5-3lbs and 5 or so of them have been over 5lbs. I'm just looking for some new people to fish with. The guy I usually fish with got a new job and can only fish a few hours every other Saturday and I like to go a few days a week. They haven't started the spawn up here but should soon. Let me know if you want to meet up and fish. Ive grown up here in palm beach fishing so I do know what I'm doing but always learing new tricks as I go along.

Im down. Im off all weekend.
RPK, I am off on Friday as well and I am available on Saturday after 12pm.
I moved recently, so lots of my gear is still packed and burried in the garage, I may need to make a trip to the store and buy some of the essentials.
I'm in Ashburn.
Regardless, let's pick a spot to fish!
lets get fishin

Sounds good to me, only problem is the forecast is rain Thur-Sat the last time I saw the news. I work in Loudoun and I'm off around 3:30-4:00....let me know! And Friday if not raining I'm off all day.

I hope its the firsttime out this year would like a good start
Hello all,
I'm a Canadian that spends some time down in the broward area a few weeks a year. It's been quite the long winter and I have the bass itch. I will be down from April 5th to April 11 and fishing in the early mornings. I would like to learn more about fishing this area, I have a car and have some of my essential gear. If your looking for some company and wouldn't mind sharing some of your honey holes I would be very great full. I typically fish holiday park, cb smith and vista view but open to some new challnenges,
I'm gonna bust em this Sunday morning!
Where're you headed?
I caught 5 good sized bass yesterday gonna get back out today ,nothing worth pics but still felt good to bring them in
Was out for the first time yesterday and literally got blown off the lake of Beaverdam. Was able to catch one in 2 hours but it was only 3 pounds shallow up on a point. What was crazy, the water was 46 degrees. Looking at my records, this is truly a different year than in times past.

Good job man. Ive been struggling in the Reservoir so far this season, been fishing the lower part near Lake Ridge Park and Sandy Run. Is the fishing better the further you go up lake?
it should be but it wasn't for me I fished up that way till about 4 on Saturday came back down to sandy run and caught all mine there ,sunday I caught more in sandy run and then a few in the fingers
Nice to see the bite is warming up. I would have gone out this weekend but had to be in St. Marys Co, MD for an early gig Saturday. Won't be able to fish until another week or so. Busy time of the year for me
Caught 8 on Sunday. Couple 4's and a solid 3.5 and 5 other keepers around 2! All above fountainhead. Very nice to have some fish interested in eating finally!!
BTW I'm in springfield/Burke off of OKM rd. Would love to get together and fish, but having a new 4 Month old baby really eats into my fishing time...

I was doing the same what worked was crankbaits fishing the shoreline in shallower water
Caught a 3lber this morning using a Strike King 3xd crank. Thanks for the help!!
anytime as close as we live we should meet for some beers sometime
hey guys, new to the forum but good to see a lot of nova people on here. I haven't been out nearly as much as I would like to be this year but I picked up a nice 3# from the pond is cascades burning a spinner bait. Kept getting bites about a foot and a half from the shore, and kept being reluctant to set the hook because if i missed it would have probably ended up in my face.
