Does anyone know when BP has their spring fishing sale? Last year someone posted the digital flyer here before it came in the mail. That would be great if someone had it again for this year.
Starts March 12th.

As I feared last year's sale appears to be much better. I find it said when stores do what they did here with the Shimano stuff. Show what all they have in their huge sale flyer and the price is not lowered a single dime LOL

They just don't compete with Amazon or ebay...and at TW and others we know when their sales are rolling around. BPS and Cabela's are out pricing themselves imo.
And just for fun...

Well I guess the folks that usually wait around for the Pro Qualifier reels to be on a good sale won't be getting their wish this year!
Shoot, select Berkley baits 33% off doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I haven't lost either of the two Choppo 90s I bought last year and they've punched well above being a 6 dollar WP replacement. Time to have two more.
I also need to respool nearly everything, so the buy two get one free line deal should save me some dollars. Plus, my kid really likes to look at the fish tank.
Reel or Rod trade-in looks like it could help you out big time. Fishing Line deals also looks good.
Pretty good haul for me to go to a location. On-line pricing looks good if items are in stock.

I don't think any of the rod and reels I want are there or in the trade in program. I like the line deal.

Back some years ago I use to go and take the run on down to BPS for the Spring Classic. It was fun. Did make a good time of it. Tried to not impulse buy. Think I did pretty good in that regard. On the way down I would stop at a bass shop on Rt. 40 on the upper part of the bay. My main reason to go on down. Those boys were bass guys and rod builders. Felt more at home in their shop.
I keep somewhat of an ongoing short list of what I need to replenish or want to try a variation of. I just order from TW or another site and locals. I guess I really have more than I need anyway.
I’ve been trying different mono’s and Flouro’s the last season. Gonna try a few more this season. I’m growing to like McCoy and the Sunlines I’ve tried.
I’m not a big fan of the BPS Branded baits. Mostly not a desire to try them. But they (BPS) are not full line dealers of the name brands they carry. Oh well big business I guess.

BPS XPS Fluorocarbon is decent line. I haven't tried their braid. I'm sure their mono is fine.
Their branded baits, in my opinion, aren't great. I agree wholeheartedly. The only inhouse brand of bait I touch is H2O Xpress by Academy, and I touch them a lot.
Is the trade in program only applicable to what they have in stock or will they provide a voucher if an item isn’t on the shelves?

Great question. Can’t see putting in the drive time only to not get what you want.
Line is usually 50% off. Hopefully that’s the same this year.

this is last years ad (2019). The 2020 has not yet been released.
I asked BPS and they couldn't tell me when it would be posted either........

The one I am looking at with KVD on the front right section on the front page is the 2020 ad
then the staff at BPS need fired!
It was brought to my attention that the link said 2019 in it. I asked BPS, and they said that it hadn't been released yet and to be patient.
(screw you, I don't wanna be patient, it's time for Spring fishing!)

Look at page 3 or whatever. The front page just shows the sales dates with no year on it. Page 3 talking about buying boats does of 2020.
true enough............. ????

Add to that - the 'Saturday March 14' seminar. 2019 had March 14 on a Thursday.

I shouldn't have added all the extra links to past years after this current one. I just thought people would like to see that in the past there had been better deals.
And it was merely by chance I found it, I was changing numbers the in last years link and found that 19 into 20 (to my surprise) opened up. lol Then I tried going backwards and 18' & 17' worked.
And since it is probably not supposed to be found and view-able to the public yet, they could go in and change or add information to it (Like putting 2020 on the cover)
Thanks for the links! I actually don't think the rod trade in program is that good of a deal. If you get their emails, they give you 10% off on a random day of the week. The program is slightly more than 10% especially when you go up in price and you're out an old fishing rod. If you paid money for that rod it's a wash in the end.
For example, I bought a new St. Croix last month for $440 and with 10% off I saved $44, didn't have to drive an hour, got free shipping plus didn't have to give up a rod. With the trade in program I'd be saving $50, be out a rod and drive several hours.
If you want to look at the ad specific for your store, then go to bass pro website, go to your store, and click on the most current sales flyer, the get on the water flyer. Look at the website address at the top of your browser. It should read something like: https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/online-catalogs?catalogCode=BassPro/Mrn_20_47_tab The number after the 20, in this case 47 is your store number. Now go back to the link that BT Syndrome provided and delete the number after the 20 and replace it with your specific store number. Bam now you have the exact flyer for your store. I would agree that there aren't too many deals to be had. Maybe the line deal. That's it though.
There is also misinformation in the current ad, it may be a draft though.
On the ad for the G3 Helix 7 is says that it is Mega 360 compatible and that is not true.

Curious on this as well. My store doesn't stock the Curado DC model I want but they have it online.

They will price match

Can't speak to other Bass Pro stores but my local one will only price match a brick and mortor store within 50 miles. Won't do anything with online.
To find your store number, go the basspro.com Store Locator and click on your desired store to bring up the store-specific page. On that page, scroll down to "View current sales" and click on "View Now" for any of the current flyers. Now look at the new URL and it should end in something like "Mar1s_20_xx_tab" - where xx is your store number. Not all the links have that format but most do. Probably best to use the most recent flyer.

According to this they match websites.
I will be attending this spring sale mainly due to the reel trade in.
For those of you that buy Shimano, or know about any type of rebates during this sale...............Has anyone ever seen Shimano offer any rebates/offers if a reel or rod is purchased? I have never looked for Shimano specifically, but I don't ever recall seeing any. It's always been other brands.
I'm looking to get the NASCI 3000. (Rebate/offer or not). I'll be trading a reel in to make this purchase.
