I like trying new things to throw a shaky head since it's a deadly presentation that usually always works. I myself like roboworms and rage Craws. What's your go to?
Trickworm
Berkley Havoc Bottom Hopper and Zoom Trickworm. The Bottom Hopper is a high floater and comes in a 4.75in. version. Both are great for wacky rigging also.
Kickerfish Hightail Holeshots
Zoom Trick Worm- Motor Oil!
Zoom trick worm,Netbait Fin. worm.
Biospawn plasmatail 6.5"
trickworm or roboworm
Yum Sharpshooter and Havoc Bottom hopper
I can't really tell you why I choose one over the other........because there really is no reason.
I keep both worms around for totally different reasons...........the Sharpshooter is my go to nose hooked drop shot worm, and the Bottom Hopper is my go to wacky jig worm (when I am not wacky rigging a yum dinger) and my go to finesse texas and carolina rig worm. But both are fantastic shaky head worms as well. I probably use the bottom hopper more for shaky heads than the sharpshooter.
Both Zoom finesse and trick worm. Hard to beat 20 worms for a few bucks.
Robo 6" in red craw, my local lake this is magic. Best thing everyone throws green pumpkin. So I keep this color flow to the chest.
Trickworm or baby brush hog
My favorite worm is the ******** ****
Roboworm
Damiki Air Pocket Worm or Yamamoto Pro Senko
GYCB Kut Tail

those damiki air craws also work pretty well! they look like one mean crawdad!
I have caught more fish on a Netbait T-Mac or Finesse worm in Bama Craw. My all-time #1 favorite color.
Zoom Magnum Trickworm or the normal one
Bizzbaits Dizzy Diamond and Netbait finesse.
Whatever GP one I happen to grab out of the rod locker.

Kickerfish holeshot, Biospawn plasmatail, Havoc bottom hopper, Zoom trick or finesse, Grande baby rattlesnake, Roboworm. Any some others, I'm not a one or two or...bait guy lol. After reading this though I'm gonna try the Netbait, Damiki and Sharpshooter.
I like trick worms. I like the fatter "magnum" shaky worms compared to the regular ones. Various brands, bow & others. Early this spring I came across a BUNCH of Netbait baits at fifty cents per bag. Included in that stash are a bunch of colors in the Netbait version of the trick worm. That is what I'll probably be fishing most this year.
Hags Tornado the tail stands almost straight up plus it has some bulk and great colors
Excite baits 10.5" maximus worm

I have a bunch of those also, bought them cuz my local shop doesn't carry Grande. Haven't fished them much, well I have tons of plastics that have never even been opened. Including Berkley power works that are probably 20 yrs old, bad yea I know. I did give about 50 bags of them to my friends. Just always buying new plastics and I'm the idiot that thinks he needs every color.

Do you have any 4" straight or paddle tailed Berkley worms you want to get rid of?

edit that post man, don't let 'em find out about the netbaits!! but seriously though, the super t mac is my #1 worm from the time the water warms up until it starts to cool down.... green pumpkin, junebug or black and go to town on the fish!!
Rage Tail Menace is my go to bait.
Robo
All good choices here but whatever you do don't put a Z-man Hula Stix in The Deal color on a shakeyhead it won't work at all. ?

Came here to post this exact same thing. The Berkley Havoc worm lineup is my go to. Their tails have great action and as @papajoe222 said, the tail floats right on up.

Just bought a pack of Menace today. What shaky head are you using them on?
I am a trickworm or kut tail fan, but I have caught more fish on a watermelon red Zoom Finesse Worm than the other two over the last year or two.
I like the netbait super t mac because I can shorten it if needed. It really doesn't matter though cause they all do the same thing. On the rare occasion I throw a shakey head it's got a zoom ultravibe speed craw on the back but I'd rather throw a heavy finesse jig

I use a Dredge Football Shaky in 1/4 almost all the time.
Biospawn Plasma tail worm, Zoom Trick Worm or recently the Fishog Coon Tail worm has become my go to bait for shaky head. They are inexpensive and the different presentation it gives that other worms in my area do have had made them deadly.
PowerTeam Lures 7" Finicky Tickler and even the 5" version for when they are finicky and tight lipped.
If your on tackle wearhouse get some zoom magnum shaky head worms. ( there hard to find in stores around here) they are great an I also like to use regular trick worms. an i fish them on a 1/4 ounce shaky head for the most part.
At a local tackle shop event a Berkley rep was giving away some sample bags of plastics and he gave me a couple of bags of the new Shaky Snake. He said it was designed for a shaky head, and the way the back half of the worm is designed with "coils" it looks like it'll work really well.
Strike King KVD Fat Baby Finesse Worm. Also roboworm fats, and Reaction Innovations Flirt.
Zoom finesse and magnum finesse and my all time favorite a Reaction Innovations smallie beaver. I use a Siebert Outdoors Zenith Shakey head, 3/16.
