Wacky Rig by far

fishing user avatarQUAKEnSHAKE reply :

2.8" Keitech swing impact fat with 1/8 jighead. If smaller is wanted go to 2" s-i-f with 1/32 jighead.

fishing user avatarMIbassyaker reply :

4" power worm

1/8oz owner finesse bullet ultrahead

fishing user avatarDens228 reply :

I would say unweighted plastics are about as finesse as I go........wacky, t-rig, etc........either worms, senkos, or rage craw types.

fishing user avatarRealtreeByGod reply :

Ned Rig and weightless flukes account for like 80% of my bass.

I suck at power fishing.

fishing user avatarDorado reply :

Weightless trick worm

Bitsy Tubes on 1/8oz tube jigs

Ned Rig

Wacky Rig GP w/ Black Flake Senko

Roadrunners paired with Sassy Shad or Grubs

I could finesse fish for bass the rest of my life with those top 5 baits and be one happy angler

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

The one that's working is my favorite. A wacky rig, ned rig, shakyhead, or micro jig are all fun but I don't think one is my favorite.

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

Around vegetation I like a 4" or 6" plastic worm weighted with a 1/16 or 1/8 ounce weight.  If there is no vegetation around I like a speed craw weighted the same way.

The wacky, Ned rig, and a light finesse or micro jig are my mainstays. Like Bluebasser86 said, I don't consider any a favorite but the micro jig is the one I like to use most.

fishing user avatarMobasser reply :

4" worm Texas rig

fishing user avatarscaleface reply :

I dont do finesse very well , nor the big stuff . I sort of stick in the middle  . I guess if you define finesse as going light , my most productive techniques are small spinnerbaits , and crankbaits .

fishing user avatarCatt reply :

Depends on the body of water ????

Our Southwest Louisiana marshes average 2-4' maximum depth, while on Toledo Bend's main lake 15' is shallow.

In the marshes I'll throw Texas Rigs from weightless to 1/8 oz, plastics maybe straight tail worms, Baby Brush Hogs, Ultra Vibe Speed Worms & Speed Craw.

Lakes/Reservoirs; Wacky Rigs, Texas Rigs worm with a nail in the tail, Texas Rigs 1/16-1/8 oz, 1/8 oz buzzbaits, & small cranks, & jerkbaits (soft or hard).

Catt, I like to be versatile too, but the Texas rig is hard to beat for me. I'm dealing with milfoil weeds, and it comes through cover better than any baits I've tried. This year I'm bringing back the Beetle Spin. A smaller spinner can work well too. As you know milfoil is tough to fish. But, that's where the bass are

1/4oz Rico popper.

very similar to a slider, but better quality light hook.

fishing user avatarFCPhil reply :

Weightless stickworm. If you don’t count that as fitness try the Berkley Flat Dawg, it is an excellent stickbait with a flattened shape that gives it a lot of action. It nearly as long as other stickbaits but it is a noticeably smaller lure overall.

Also, does a popper count as finesse? It’s my favorite “finesse bait” because I love topwater.

fishing user avatarchattooga_ basser reply :

Throwing a Senko as a walk the dog style topwater.

fishing user avatarJ.Vincent reply :

Split Shot Rig with a Zoom Centipede or French Fry on the business end

fishing user avatarThe Fisher reply :

Ned Rig, Bitsy Bug 1/16 with Paca Chunk, Weightless 4” Senko, Swing Impact (not a fat)  3.5” on a 1/16 1/0 Keitech Super Round Tungsten Jig Head

fishing user avatarMr. Aquarium reply :
