What are your favorite spinner baits to use? Im just starting to use them and want to know some nice ones to try out. Thanks 8-)
Spro Superstar for slow rolling and dirty water
S.O.B. Mini Me for burning and clean water
Two of our sponsors, *** and MegaStrike, have recently
introduced new spinnerbaits. These are as close as you get to
"custom" lures. I suggest picking up a couple from both companies.

I am just now starting to get into Spinnerbaits. War Eagle is the best I have tried so far. I have also had some success with Terminator.
I do plan on picking up one of the new Megastrike Spinnerbaits.
I have been using terminator, but would give megastrike a try.
I only use spinnerbaits in murky water and/or during significant wave action.
For this reason, I ordered a bunch of custom-built spinners with a large, dark, single Colorado blade
with a black & red skirt (red turns black in low light).
Unfortunately, "Heavy Cover Spinnerbaits" had to close its doors due to health reasons.
IF and when my spinnerbait stash runs low, I'm sure that Russ *** can fill the bill.

War Eagle is my number one. Revenge is a close number two. Terminator Custom Tungsten comes in at my number three.
Strike King
+1 for War Eagle.
Strike King KVD model.
BPS Lazereye Premier.
I like terminator because I have had success with them and I picked up a bunch of them really cheap.
Terminator .
Secret Weapon Assassinator Clacker

I have a lot of Terminator because they go on sale all the time. With spinnerbaits I don't stress on brands too much. As long as it has a good hook and a good swivel I'm happy. Anything else can and will be changed as conditions change.
Stanley wedge, minnowhead, vibra shaft, and compact series for my big lakes. And ol school H&H's for ponds

The Wedge Plus and Icon have been working very well for me lately. In the past year I've bought a bunch of different brands/models, but the Stanley Wedge Plus in "Golden Bream" outperforms all of them on my local pond.
War Eagle are my go to spinner baits.
Knuckle Down Lures makes some great spinnerbaits. They have some awesome paint jobs on the heads and skirt colors that you wont find anywhere else....you really should see the sexy shad he makes.
War Eagle get my vote.
S.O.B Mini Me is my favorite, Dee the owner will also customize it to your specifications. In my opinion most spinnerbaits are sold with blades that are too big so I have to cutomize it, with S.O.B it is exactly the way I want it.
BPS =X
War Eagle
I have caught more on my Booyah Mini Shad spinnerbait than any other spinnerbaits I have. Strike King Rocket shad gets second place, I think there is something to the smaller sized spinnerbaits that just produce for me. In general I have been using smaller lures and soft plastics and that has been paying off as well.
Used Strike king, Booyha, and some cheapies..2 weeks ago I went to my local tackle shop and picked up a double willow 1/2 oz spinnerbait made by Northland. I'd never heard of them, I took a chance on one, cost was 4.99....after catching a few fish on it..I'm sold. Although I'd really like to try some of ***'s spinners.

Northland and Lindy Tackle go all the way back to the Fishing Facts magazine (1960s), followed by the In-Fisherman (1970s).
Basically so-so tackle, but like you said, now and then a real winner.
During their heyday, Ron & Al conducted their so-called "Magic Act".
They'd go to the right place at the right time, and document the success of ANY lure (as if we didn't know).
They came clean after launching their highly successful In-Fisherman magazine.

I'm currently trying out some of the new megastrike spinnerbaits, they are pretty good so far.
Before these my go to spinnerbaits were always River2Sea.
For many years I've use the Fleck spinnerbaits, both the tandem models and their "drop" baits. They've been making spinnerbaits for over 40 years and have not changed their design significantly. Not a "trendy" bait, but certainly one that catches a lot of fish and that most "pros" have in their tackle boxes.
War Eagle for me. But I am going to try out some Megastrikes and the new *** spinner baits.
Later,
Hildibrand "Go-Getter" 5/8 oz, #7 gold Colorado blade, chartreuse skirt. An especially good bottom bouncer in 30' but good at any depth.
BPS Tornado
Blue Fox Big Bass (if they still make them)
X2 on the Fleck (weed wader)
Nichols Pulsator
BB
Hildebrandts when they were made locally..........now its Stan Sloan.
War Eagle makes a nice custom style lure.
I like the strike king premier pro model plus. (is the name long enough?)
I don't know why, but the SK premier pro models have caught far more fish for me than the other brands I've used.
My go to spinnerbait was always Terminator T-1, however recently I've had problems with poor quality hooks on them.
I've been using Rattle Head spinnerbaits, with very good results. I really think the rattle chamber makes a difference. Dow uses all top quality components on his baits.
Falcon
Terminator T1
I use revenge...! 8-)
boo-yah!!!
Picasso
Rattlehead
Strike King Premier Pro Model Plus
XCiter (no longer in production)
We like either brand that makes 4-bladed spinnerbaits, Strike King's Quad Shad (if you can find them), or Booyah's Super Shad.
Strike King Red Eye with the fish pattern painted on the blade in white.
Terminator T-1. War eagle is my 2nd favorite.
My spinner box is filled with War Eagle.
strike king, hands down.
terminator t-1's, i just dont like how the paint chips off on the heads....
QuoteStrike King Red Eye with the fish pattern painted on the blade in white.
One of the local Walmarts had a bunch of these in the clearance section along with Mann's "Classic" spinnerbaits. I bought all they had, 10 of the Red Eye in white, 1 in firetiger, and 15 of the Classic in white for about $25.

The Red Eye were only $.90 each. If they'd had more, I would've bought them all. I'm not a big fan of painted blades, but I have enough nickel, gold, and brass blades to change them out when/if I get around to using them.
