Whats your favorite?
Probably carolina rig or drop shot to keep the bait above the weeds.
I like to fish a Texas rigged worm with my weight pegged so it isn't sliding all over the place.
Texas rigged pegged or weightless. Lift and drop or "yo yo" works well. And if there is a snag, just give it a slight rip and let it fall much like you would with a lipless crank. Thats pretty effective for me...we have a bunch of hydrilla and milfoil here.
Thanks! I was thinking about getting a few 10 inch rage tail anaconda, anybody have any experience with them and any tips you are willing to share?

I have heard of pegs but I'm not totally sure what they are and how they are used...

Easily my favorite "curly tail" worm out there, I like the 10 inch version over the 7 inch too. Some people say that you will not catch as many fish with the bigger one but I would have to disagree I have seen no difference, small fish will eat the bigger worm too.
I'd fish a T-rigged Senko silver black with no weight letting it fall down into the grass.WAHMMO!

There are lots of ways to "peg" your weight. It simply means keeping the slip sinker held to the head of your worm so it doesn't slide up your line. You can use bobber stops, tooth picks and specialty stops made to peg a sinker.
I've thrown a bunch of different worm rigs in grass, be it wacky, weighted wacky, TX, pegged TX, split and drop shots.
Best of those are probably wacky (weightless), and TX rigs in my experience.
Wacky rigged on this. It's as weedless as you can get. Gamakatsu Wacky Jig Hook. They aren't cheat at just over two bucks per hook in a three pack, but they are well worth the price.
Available in 1/16 ounce, 3/32 ounce and 1/8 ounce. There is a titanium wire on each side of the hook and the eye is located where it easily sheds or slips through vegetation.
If you want something a bit different I've rigged it with grubs and best of all, the Rage Tail Menace. The pic below has a Jackall hook. A drop of super glue between the jig head and the bait hold it in place better than jig heads with the standard barbed shank. You can see how the vertical shank to the eye can snag vegetation.
T-Rigged weightless or weighted
http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/11664-warning-you-might-get-your-arm-broke/
I use two methods
1) t-rig pegged curly tail worm or Senkos
2) split shot rig with a finesse worm
Im shocked to see more people don't use the bullets weights with the grip coil (florida style I think) I use those all the time in 3/16- 1/4oz and peg larger.
t-rig senko weightless
The reason I don't use those weights is because they tend to "core" the end out of the worms. It pulls the center right
out of them.
Once that happens there is nothing left for the weight to dig in to.
Rage Rig... Weighted hook is by far my fav way to fish worms on or over grass. Fish it SLOW like a Tx rig. Lift or slide it forward a ft or so at a time with pauses in between
Ck this video link and watch the Anaconda action.... all action is Rage Rigged, and notice the fall action is basically horizontal which will allow any worm to settle in the grass with the nose of it pointed toward you which keeps it from fouling in the grass so easily. It's BIG WORM MAGIC

What weight and size hook do you recommend?
Depends on conditions... depth and type of grass, size of the worm, amount of wind etc. 1/4 oz would be a standard. For example, 10" worm 5 to 6/0 hook and 8 inch 4 to 5/0. I use Moaner weighted hooks because they were designed around the Rage Rigging technique. The weight sits further back toward the bend of the hook for a more horizontal fall and doesn't reduce the hook bite gap. Also sheds grass more easily with the narrow weight nose and more hydro dynamic than many others.
On shorter baits 2 to 4/0 are my choice... Hope that helps
Wacky with a weedless hook and a light weight or no weight.
For shallow grass, it's very hard to beat a Rage-Rigged Anaconda or Recon Worm. 1/4oz 5/0 Moaner Stroker for me, too.
For me it has to be a Netbait C-Mac 7 to 15 in. worm or a Trick worm! Both weight-less or pegged with a rubber bobber stop! I have 4 rods set up with weight's and they are set with a 1/8 oz. 1/4oz. 1/2 oz and a 3/4 or 1 oz. to punch down into the thick weeds.and for different fall rates.

Rhino,Try the Buckeye Flick-It jig alot less $$$$$$ about half the cost and they fish the same!
Texas Rig.

I used them in place of the Jackall. The football head seems to work better in the rocks. The problem is the weed guard. In my opinion it's the main problem. It bends easily, and after a few fish, and straightening it, it breaks off.
The eye arrangement is definitely better than the Jackall, but because the eye is totally exposed, fine grasses can get hung.
It's all a moot point for me. Since they have banned lead in Mass, I'm back to the Jackall. One of my buddies has some jig heads that aren't lead, look good, and are priced right. I'll give them a shot when my Jackall supply is about gone.
The Jackalls are about the same price as the Gamakatsu. I've fished all three quite a bit, and though the Gamakatsu is lead, and comparatively expensive, and the Gamakatsu wins hands down.
Spring for a three pack of the Gamakatsu Wacky Jig Heads. I think you'll find they are better in any vegetation than the Buckeye Flick It.
As an aside, I've used the Flick It in three colors, pumpkin, june bug, and black. I ended up using just black. They are a nice hook, with a nice footall, but the twisted weed guard leaves much to be desired.

That sucks with ban on lead but I do understand why they do it to a point! Yes the weed guard on the Flik-It are not too good. But what I did to help it was to put super glue on the weed guard and get it good and wet and where the weed guard goes into the head and the wire also and get it good and wet with the super glue and just let it dry and the weed guard is alot more stiff.

try them rage rigged on a swimbait 1/8 oz hook or a luckestrike perfect worm hook 5/0 hook an slow roll it just off the grass or weeds or hop it back and don't be surprised to catch a lot of bass i had tons of luck on them last summer from 9" bass to 6+ lbers
Texas or Carolina rig for me but I'm learning some good stuff on here.

I rigged them t-rigged. I caught a 3 1/2 lb Largemouth bass on one in 10 feet of water in the middle summer. They do catch bass.
I throw a T Rig using a bobber stopper to peg the weight. I like the 10" Anaconda because most bites you get are big, however I have caught a fish no longer than the 10" Anaconda on it. I have also caught a fish and found that it had managed to tie the tail in an overhand knot.
When I look at bobber stoppers and things to peg the weight online I can't see how they work... If I purchase them are they easy to figure out, from the pictures on BPS and what not I have no idea how to use them or what they are supposed to look like...

You stick your line through the little wire loop then slide the rubber bobber stop on to your line then continue to slide the bobber stop onto your line till the tag end comes out. There is a hole in the center of the bobber stop and without the wire loop you would never be able to get the bobber stop onto the line.
Here is a video the good stuff starts a 1:25

Thanks, exactly what I needed...
Mojo Rig, experimented for the first time with it; did the job!
