So whats in everyone's line up? What do you take out on the water and what are they used for? Any left in the bullpen at home? I'm sure most of these posts will be long, but its always nice to see that we are not alone in our rod and reel addiction.

I bank fish most of the time so i can't manage a lot of combos. I have 4 rods i always take and sometimes up to 6 depending on where im going

7'2" shimano clarus mh/xf and citica g (worms and jigs over 1/4 oz

These are the 4 i always bring but sometimes depending on where im fishing i bring these
Shakespeare ugly stick 7' mh spinninf(catfish and live bait)
Shakespeare ultralight combo(panfish and trout)
Okuma swimbait 7'6" mh(for swimbaits lol so mh throws 1/2 oz up to 4 oz for me) and daiwa tatula r (swimbaits, a rigs, big 1 oz jigs and spinnerbaits in deep water)
Pinnacle composite 6'6" m/mf and cabelas fish eagle 2(made by daiwa)(smaller 1/4 and up reaction baits when i need to hit a target)
I buy and sell equipment a lot so many of these may change soon. Im hoping to get another combo or two by spring
What Bluebasser said.
My freshwater fishing these days is all from shore, I take 1 rod with me. Fishing a high banked canal I'll have a 7' med spinning rod, 15# braid. For ponds I mostly use a light power spinning rod and 10# braid. Lately I've been on the UL kick with top water for my pond fishing, been a game changer from the fun aspect.
I haven't been on the water in a month. Let me see if I can remember what all I have on what right now.
Dobyns Champion 765CB w/ Diawa Zillion 4.9:1 (large, deep cranking)
SC Avid X 7' MH-M w/ Shimano Chronarch 201e 5:1 (medium-large cranks)
Shimano Crucial 7' M-M w/ Shimano Chronarch ci4 6:1 (small-medium cranks and squarebills)
GLoomis TWR 6'5 MH-F w/ Shimano Chronarch ci4 7:1 (jerkbaits and topwater)
Shimano Crucial 6'10" MH-F w/ Shimano Chronarch ci4 6:1 (all around rod)
BPS Extreme 6'10" MH-XF w/ Shimano Curado I 6:1 (plastics)
Dobyns Savy 6'9" ML-F w/ Diawa Ballistic 2000 (crappie and walleye jigging, finesse bass)
Fenwick HMG 7' MH-F w/ Shimano Saros 3000 (salmon fishing, and larger bass presentations)
BPS Extreme 6'6" M-F w/ Shimano Symetre 2500 (bass fishing lures that are too light for baitcasting)
Bullpen at home:
SC Musky Mojo 7'6" H-F w/ Abu Garcia 6601 c4 (musky setup obviously)
Fenwick HMG 7'2" M-MF w/ Shimano Curado B (I like this for small jerkbaits and lipless cranks)
BPS Extreme 6'6" MH-F casting (all around rod)
BPS Extreme 7' H-F casting (mainly used for trolling for walleye, also a good Frog rod)
SC Premier Crankbait 7' M-M casting (small/light crankbaits)
Shimano Sahara 2000 (backup, was my first higher end spinning reel 15 years ago)
6'6 MH Casting for lures over 3/8
6'5 M Spinning for lures under 3/8
A stack of rods from Dropshotting to fishing swimbaits. All go and adjust my plan of attack on my observations and conditions of what I see.
If I'm in my boat, they all go. What's more interesting is what's left on the deck at the end of the day. Guess what I caught all my fish on this day.....

They do use them here, usually bait fishing but sometimes with spoons. Thought this was cool, guy using one with a surgical tube.

That's the coolest thing I've seen in ages.
I use it once in while, usually Fridays when I'm feeling a little silly.
I got a good chuckle outta that!
6'6" Medium Berkley Lightning Rod Custom w/a 4.9:1 Cabela's Tournament ZX
6'6" Medium Berkley Cherrywood w/a 6.3:1 BPS ProLite Special
7' Medium Heavy Berkley Lightning Rod Shock w/a 7.1:1 Lew's Tournament
6'6" Medium Heavy Berkley Lightning Rod w/a 7.5:1 Lew's Tournament MB
6'6" Medium Heavy Quantum Torsion w/a 6.4:1 Lew's Laser MG
6'6" Berkley Amp Spinning w/a 5.1:1 Quantum Accurist PT
I guess I'm in the minority because I fish with wild shiners. I travel light without a tackle box, fishing out of my 17.5 Special Edition Bass Tracker. I'm using a 7' cherry wood Berkley MH rod. The reel is an Abu Garcia Pro Max, 8 bearings, 7.1:1, bait caster with Power Pro #40 braided line. I tie on a 3/0 Kahle hook with the Palomar knot. I carry two spare rods and reels and I carry about 6 spare hooks and floats.
Sounds to me like the ticket to some monster Florida bass!

My kinda guy!
I always have two pistol grip rods with custom built Ambassadeur 4500's rigged with 12# mono. One with a super spook jr. one with a Lil' Richard. Rarely do I ever bother with anything else.
I find the guys I fish with bring along these huge tackle boxes and we stumble over them while fishing. And I know another guy who keeps a plastic zip-loc bag containing hooks in his pocket. He says that's his tackle boxOn 12/6/2014 at 8:48 AM, 119 said:My kinda guy!

I don't use bait and floats (they don't call them bobbers any more?), my tackle box is a Rapala package with an extra lure in it.
I usually bring one MF spinning rod although since getting a Smallmouth M-XF it will be coming along more often, occasionally a HF baitcast rod. The rest will be baitcast rods and normally a mixture of MHF, MF with at least one MLF thrown in the mix for lighter lures. I never carry more than 2 when fishing from shore, but there will always be more in the car (with a M-XF a possibility).
Been fishing from shore the past 3 years and leave the tackle boxes in the car. If I carry any extra lures with me, they will be in shirt pockets. Once in a blue moon I will carry a tray with me.
Like Raul (and no doubt a few others), I'm not going to list every rod/reel. I've been putting together an arsenal since Feb. '09. I can't say I have "enough" (could that ever be a true statement? ), but can say I have "too many". Especially for a guy in my position.
EDIT: I had to invest in a few bobbers....oops, floats....this year because a grandson wanted to fish with some worms. BTW, fished with them a lot in my youth, but many times off the bottom. Only used bobbers when after panfish.
