Is Tackle warehouse * reliable with their reels? I was just wondering since I ordered a revo sx from them.
you done goofed up!!!!!!!
j/k they are great, but you should have asked this 1st
Yes, they are, I won't order rods online anywhere else. I've found reels to be cheaper on amazon however for the handful of new in box reels I have ordered online.

I bet you scared him half to death lol. And yes TWH is great with our items we purchase.
I ordered from them, week later stuff came in the mail, that reliable enough?
I'v only ordered lures from there I always get them within a few days the one time they screwed up they called me like an hour after I had placed the online order and asked how I wanted to handle it and it was fixed and I got my order in like 2 days.
While I've not ordered reels, I've ordered other stuff and been quite satisfied. No reason to see why rods/reels would be different.
TW is 100% reliable. They have a spotless reputation and rightfully so.
I've bought rods, reels, line and lures from them. Never a problem.

Yep. I really like that when you call them, you will talk to someone who actually knows what they sell and can offer suggestions on similar products and better prices. I am a fan.
Great customer service. They replaced a damaged NRX no questions asked.
Just bought my third rod from them tonight, and a number of other product orders.
I LOVE TW.
The only problem I've ever had with TW is they sent me an extra pack of RI Skinny Dippers last time.
TW has some of the best shipping there is. I always pay for the $5 2nd day shipping. I buy most of my tackle from the tackletrap if they dont have what I need I go to TW.
I've unfortunately ordered thousands of dollars of gear from them the past 3 years (since I found out about them), and I have never needed/wanted to return anything. They get everything to me next day, so I struggle to buy from anywhere else.
3 words- They are great!
One of the Best company's online!!!
I've used em twice now with no issues. Shipping is longer than 3-4 days as advertised, but weather could have played a factor n
Great company, they kill me with the free and $5 2 day shipping on orders over $50. I turn $10-15 orders into $50+ just because I think its a good deal.
So far I like TW. Ordered my rod and now my reel. Cant beat the shipping prices. I only wish that they had a "wishlist" like Basspro does on their site.
I thought it was nice that I only had to pay 10 dollars for 1 day shipping, that way I can fish on Monday!

Boy do I know that feeling!
I got a rod in the mail a month ago, the bottom guide had the insert missing, I called and they told me a new one was in the mail along with a return label, pack the rod up and when the new one comes just slap the return label over the old one and send it back....Just that easy, the best customer service and shipping is fast too. you may find it cheaper but you'll never have the piece of mind that you get from TW.
Not that I'm really adding any new info but, yes they are great. Never had a problem with any of the many rods and reels Ive ordered. Even when it comes to baits I feel like it would be easy to screw up a color every now and the but they never have.
The Best online bass tackle retailer IMO.
I have not bought any reels from them, but I have bought several fishing rods and various tackle. They are great and their customer service is excellent.
Excellent place to do business with. Never had any problems with them.
I wish my friend never told me about them, lol. I spend way toooo much money there... I love the $10 one day shipping, whenever im stocking up on lures my order is always $50 to get the one day shipping, lol. Definitely my favorite online place to order from.
I just want to add 1 more thing everyone else over looked. If you find an item cheaper somewhere else tackle warehouse will match there price. They have gotten thousands from me and will probally get many more.

This really is just crazy cheap. I wanted to overnight a reel to pure fishing once and it would have cost me over $50 to do so with ups. I'm sure they must have some kind of contract with them but I still don't know how they do it.
Very reliable company with great customer service. The couple of times I have had problems concerning an order (mostly due to the factors beyond their control), all I needed to do was pick up the phone and call them.
I have been using them for probably close to 3 years. I have spent LOTS of $ with them and probably own every type of free shirt they have given for larger orders over that's time. They price match, the selection is by far the largest, the sales are good, and I have nothing but positive feedback for their customer service and shipping processes. I have never had a messed up order from them. Overall a great company to buy from.
Over 3 years dealing with them and my order was only mishandled one time. Thats good considering i order a couple times a month. And the one order that was mishandled was when i purchases over 500 bucks worth and 6 packs of soft plastics werent sent out. I called them and they confirmed that they already caught the mistake and had already sent them out. And in couple days i received them. This was during the christmas sale, so i completely understood that they were busy and that there is a human element to it. Other than that i havent had an issue...and to be honest, i wasnt that upset, seems that they were on top of it. Customer service has been very polite and informative everytime ive called with questions.
I have bought several rods from them and all of them arrived in good condition.

i feel sorry for you...i live in california and, when i place an order with TW before noon, my order is on my doorstep before 10am the next morning...many times even before 8am. this is with their standard free shipping. i estimate i spend at least $1,000 annually at TW...i think they're the best.

That's ok, I lived in cali once, being on the other side of the country and waiting 5 days is more heaven for me

Hey now!!!
Cali does have some major problems, so that on the doorstep by 10 am the next morning is a nice "free" surprise. However, I'd prefer that they were in Arizona or Nevada so I didn't have to pay all of that CA sales tax.

Taxes kill, when my wife and I left it was like getting a raise with all the less taxes. You got some messed up looking rabbits too
I've ordered many times from them and they have always been reliable and on time.
They are the best! I've ordered everything from baits to rods/reels to Trolling motors and electronics, I've never had a problem with them. They ship same day and it always shows up in good condition.
I've only odered once and all was right except for a substituted color on a spro popper frog, but the color was close enough, I imagine.

Just went thru the price guarantee with them this week. I ordered a reel from them(among other things). On a fluke, I was on Ardents website a couple days later and found the reel on sale $60 cheaper. Placed a call, they verified pricing, and although they didn't give me a refund, they emailed me an electronic gift card for the difference.
Ordered my first Rod online from them right before Christmas. Didn't know about them till i read good reviews about them on this site. I will only order rods from them online from now on because they were fast and don't charge an extra $6 like BPS does.
Order some rods and reels, never had an issue.
However, they could pack the rods better then they do. Bubble wrap on the tips isnt going to cut it, I work at UPS I know how the packages get handled, and trust me, these tubes get launched like footballs.

Tell me about it, I don't do this, and the guys In-House are not normally the culprits, but the drivers......they have done some stuff to packages that makes me scared to order stuff and get it shipped.
TBH, a fragile sticker is like a bullseye to a lot of the guys that work for them.
Most of the guys make 8.50-9.50 an hour and are not usually upstanding citizens if you know what I mean.
I know how I want my things treated
Maybe I'm fortunate I have a Cabelas and 2 BPS' within a 45 minute drive from me. I'd never buy a rod without feeling the action first. To find a broken rod when opening the shipping tube would upset me.
I had a 1st gen Phenix Recon snap at the tip the first time out last year. They replaced it no questions asked. Just ship it back... that's good customer service. I ordered another $75 worth of baits just yesterday from them. They're top knotch.

I have ordered close to a dozen rods from them and have never had a problem. What I noticed they do on the rods is attach the handle end of the rod to the outside of the tube with a piece of tape so the rod cant slide forward in the tube and break the tip.
Man, TW is certainly getting a boat load of Free Press and High Praise here.
And deservedly so - they know what we need and routinely work hard to keep us happy.
Why aren't they a BR sponsor again ?

TW is awesome.
I will only buy rods online that I have handled in the store. Usually the online price us cheaper than the store even with shipping...
