How often do yo see a big bass caught by a guy crappie fishing or a huge musky caught by a guy walleye fishing. Stuff like this happens all the time. Not sure I get the meaning behind the academy awards comment.

So it's not the size of the rod it's the color of the rod. Do I need different colored rods now? Do all women have an advantage with pink tackle? Seeing this will the price go up now on pink tackle.

I been saying my smaller spots hold bigger bass because there unfished I didn't have a pink rod too.

Yes they do, the Avid Pearl, and yes it catches fish. I bought my wife one a few years back and she loves it. I'd be lying if I said I haven't used it a time or two. It's an Avid blank with a split grip, so it fishes great. It catches big fish too!
