Terrible.Line gets stuck between the spool and outer shill.Line snappers every cast.There is not upside.Will not ever buy again

Aside from their high quality, low cost motto they made some excellent upgrades with this reel. The first big improvement is the aluminum thumb bar. May seem petty to some but that's one of the parts of the reel that you touch the most, therefore, it needs to last. I've broken way too many plastic thumb bars in my life time. Secondly, the crank handle being longer than standard is HUGE. You wouldn't think that a longer handle would make a difference, but it really allows you to crank and winch fish out of deep cover and slop, especially since this reel is a 7.1 ratio with 18lbs of drag. Smooth is the name of the game with this bad boy, you would never know that you're dealing with a 6bb reel, I promise you that. This reel absolutely gets it done! I was sold on the first one

This reel is awsome!!! I paired with a 7ft daiwa harrier inshore Medium fast action rod and I can cast a 16th oz. Jig head and a soft plastic at least 35-40 yards with ease. This reel is awsome and at the price you can't beat it! I am definitely impressed. Thank you for a great product. I recently changed roto 2 stars because I had to return the reel, only used it 2 times before it crapped out.
