Is this a sealed drag for saltwater?

Answer: Nope. The drag is shielded, but not fully sealed.

Answer: Yes, it is sealed! However, after using it in salt, I would rinse it well with freshwater, just like any reel.

Is it 89.95 or 109.99 for yhe 7/8/9 reel?

Is the 7/8/9 a different model than the 7/8/9 8 weight? And isn’t so, can I purchase extra spools for either of them?

Answer: Same reel. The 7/8/9 8 wt just comes prespooled with 8 wt line.

Does it come with the stickers?

Answer: The new ID Reel comes with one sticker that is a black background covered with small white silhouettes of various fish species.

Does it have a sealed drag?

How do I remove the spool from the reel? Would it be normal for set screw for the spool to be really tight right out of the box?

Answer: Good question! The spool is removed by simply unscrewing the attachment screw in the center of the spool. The spool can them be simply lifted off the reel frame. The screw can sometimes be quite tight right out of the box. If you still have any issues please feel free to give us a call at the fly shop. Answer: Removal should be pretty easy on that reel, all you need to do is loosen the screw on know and it should pop right off. It may be a bit snug right out of the package. If you have any other issues please reach out and lets us know.

Answer: The spool lock screw can be tight right out of the box, but you should be able to get it loose.

Is this a good reel for euro nymph set up ?

Answer: Redington makes a quality product. A reel is just glorified line holder unless your planning on catching monsters that tear thru your line and into backing where you'd need a super expensive and top notch drag system. Day to day this will do just fine for whatever you need

How may feet of backing and fly line does the 3/4 hold?

Answer: 3/4 holds 75 yards, most fly lines are about 90 ft. So about 105 yds/315 ft

How much drag does it have?

Answer: I have a 7/8 the drag is quite strong. Not as strong as the Behemoth, but as strong as you'll ever need for freshwater.

Does this reel have a clicker in it? No would be my ideal answer

Answer: There is both clicking going forward and reverse on the reel.
