OK guys, that was so much fun last time, lets get this going at least one more time before the season is over on a lake that has some serious fish.
I'm thinking of Lake Massesecum in Bradford on August 27, 2010. Meet up at 7:30-8:00am and fish until around 2:00pm. All this is negotiable, so please feel free to speak up with alternitive lakes/times/dates.
Hope to see everyone there!
Yup I'm in that date and time is perfect for me!!

Where you all at?
Yeah, no kiddin'. We still doin' this?
Yeah, we will do it no matter how many or few people we have. I'm sure wagn will join in but I think he has been away for a bit.
We could move it to a Saturday if that would help more people be able to make it...
I sure hope we get a few more, but if not I'm in anyways. Would not be able to make it Saturday however.
As I told badcrawdad, I am VERY interested in coming, but me and the wife are moving around that time and I'm not sure if I'll be able to come. If I can, I will be more than likely bringing my brother in law and we'll fish out of my boat. But I'll keep you all posted.
Might be there with partner AND boat
Gotta talk to him as we are only licensed in Mass
I'm up in the air. I haven't been able to fish really at all lately. I'll let you guys know in a couple of day.
QuoteMight be there with partner AND boatGotta talk to him as we are only licensed in Mass
1 day non-resident NH fish license is $15
Hope you can make it

Sounds like all the more reason to go! Besides if you don't go who's gonna make the movie?
im not going to be able to make it. i only have 14 hours of vacation time left to last me the year and im gonna need it.

Bring on Anglers Inc!!!!!
Should be there with my son. Will know more later and will post.
I'm in.
Probably going to be fishing with my Dad. It's unlikely that I can get him to dress up as a corporate fisherman.....but it will be fun nonetheless
Now we're talkin'!
Won't make this one guys. Have fun.
I have to work that day, so I don't think I can make it. If things change, I'll let you guys know.
Just got home from vacation and saw this...not sure if I'm going to be able to make it or not. We'll see.
I'm working, but going my best to try to get it off. After all Saturday is my birthday so that means I'm entitled, right?

Not going to be able to make it unfortunately. Have fun guys! Would anyone be up for a get together in, say, early October or something? We'll have that good fall bite going on and the lakes wont be busy. Just a thought....
I'm down for another one in october as well
I'd be in. maybe make it on a Sat so more could make it.
Jay, Do you have an address for the launch?
QuoteJay, Do you have an address for the launch?
It's right on 114. You will see it on the right. You can't miss it after you get into Bradford. You have to park across the highway. Get there early also as it fills up quick. Have fun and good luck.
UNH is right on. I'll also post good directions with exact distances after I drive it one more time.
If people want to do this earlier, that's cool.. I'm going to get there at 6:00am anyway, so feel free to come early if you want. It does tend to get a little busy and windy there, so earlier might be better.

Windy's an understatement. We fished a tourney there about a month back (happened to be dead calm tourney day) and the three times we prefished it was a wind tunnel! The average size of the fish went down the day of the t when the wind dropped off. Good luck guys!

I've had the exact same experience there. It really can be a wind tunnel at that lake. The wind is forecast to be around 10mph first thing tomorrow.
OK. Of course I drove the route on my way home from work, and I managed to forget to measure the distances. It's pretty easy though.
Since everyone but wagn is coming from the Concord area, here are the directions. Wagn, I assume you know where it is?
Take 89 North to Exit 5. Follow Route 9/202 West towards Henniker/Keene. Take the Route 114 Henniker exit, and go right at the end of the exit. The Lake Massesecum launch is about 3-4 miles up 114 on your right. You'll see my grey Tacoma and trailer parked on the opposite side of the street from the launch, and it's really easy to spot. The launch is on the right hand side of the road. Launch, and drive across the road to park, or you can park on the right hand side of the road on right on 114 if it's full.
Ok, that's easy enough. See you around 6:00. Thanks.
Just checked clarks and it says 5.5 miles West on 114 from 9/114. That's a little further than I thought, but you can't miss the lake regardless.
GPS coordinates are N43 14.152/W71 54.556
Looking forward to it!
I'm up and having my coffee, then I gotta go uncover the boat, and I'll be meeting Badcrawdad at 5:30, and we should be there by 6:00. Looks like a great day to hook into some hawgs!
F^%K! I forgot :-/
To the guys that made it out today, it was good to see you again, and I look forward to the next time. Oct sounds good!
What was the big fish of the day?
Badcrawdad's 3 lb largemouth, caught within a few minutes of getting to our first spot. After that, it became very hard to fish any spots thoroughly, due to the crazy wind on that lake.
Hey guys I had a lot of fun as well. Good thing we started early as that wind was tough.
NHFroggin caught the most fish, and Badcradad caught the biggest. tough day overall withthe wind really pushing us around.
Lets do it ome more time in October or late September. We can do it on a weekend if that helps.
I had a great time as well. Fishing was deff. tough because of the wind. Im up for another get together, friday or weekends are good for me. thanks again jay for letting me fish out of your boat!
-matt-
Looking at Octobrer 8, 2010 for the next get together. Anyone have any ideas for lakes?
i might be able to make that one
assuming its 12 foot jon boat / trolling motor capable
Yeah, sounds good. Throw Northwood Lake into the mix of optional lakes for it.
Northwood lake has some nice small mouths, you just have to watch for large rocks at the launch. A buddy bent his prop up the last time I was there.
lake massabesic might be good, it does get fished very heavily though.
-matt-
I'm thinking of Northwood or maybe even Bow Lake? I'd also be game for putting Winnisquam and Sunapee on the list as well.
My co worker has lived on Bow lake all his life. He says there are some nice bass in there
I'm out for this one. Parents only let me skip school for saltwater fishing
Hogwash!
we'll dust some sea salt in the water
did any of you guys make it out ?
lots of boats this morning at the nashua river entrance behind stellos
atleast 7 trucks with trailers
3 or 4 more with no trailers
