Just purchased mine this past weekend. I got the "3 fer" Super Conservation deal. Its a General License,Trout Stamp and an Urban License(For fishing lakes within the more metropolitan areas,Tucson and Phoenix). It ran $53. If Purchased them separate it would have run me $58 and Id have to carry 2 different licenses(Urban and General) and have a separate Trout stamp on the back of the General License.
How does the cost of my state' license compare to yours?

Yeah well I went ahead and bit the bullet on the Trout Stamp this year, after I had a run in with a Warden that told me that even though I was Bass Fishing,I needed a Trout Stamp because the waters are stocked with Trout.
So according to the Warden,If there are Trout stocked in the water youre fishing, you need a Trout Stamp even though you are targeting a different species.
20.50 for non-tidal license in maryland.

It's what I do
I'm pretty sure TN still does a combo small game/fishing for around $25-30 a year. I've had a lifetime for about 10 years so not really sure any longer.
NC-$35 for Salt and Freshwater, not including Mountain Trout.
NC Freshwater-$15
SC Non-Resident Freshwater- $35 and it expires June 30, regardless of when you purchase it

Last year, 2010, you had to register with the NOAA and no fees were charged. This year you still need to register and I think it's $25.00. I can register thru MA marine fishery and I think it's $10.00 this year (that may have changed from what they were quoting last year) and that allowed me to fish in ME. I don't believe ME will be handling the registration process this year, but from the way I read it you can register thru MA and save yourself $15.00 and still fish in all coastal waters.
EDIT:
I have to apologize for posting the above information. It appears that the rules have been changed since last summer. MA as of February 11, 2011 has reciprocity agreements wih NH & RI only. The fees are $10.00 and you can use that recreational saltwater permit for the 3 states.
Again, my apologies for the confusion.
$20 Wisconsin resident. Great Lakes and inland trout stamps extra.
$13 for age 65 0r older.
In Missouri it costs $12 for the year as a resident. If you purchase the license online there is a $2 convenience fee added to it. Daily permit is $7 and a non-resident permit is $42. If you purchase the combined fishing and small game permits the price is $19.

California $43.46 for a general sportfishing license, and $13.53 .....so mine was $56.99
Which, I should add, is a substantial sum, for somebody who doesn't get out very much.
But for myself, it's probably the best money I will spend all year long.
Our license are good from Jan 1. to Dec 31. So I try to get mine sometime in Dec, a week or two before the new year starts.
Peace,
Fish

I never get any trout stamps or great lakes stamps.
Washington: Annual Freshwater is $26.00 and includes both warm and cold water species to include Steelehead, Salmon and sturgeon. A salt permit is extra as are clam permits. We have punch cards for the species named above and are " required " to submit our records to assist the Department of Fisheries which has ( last time I checked ) 20+ cold water biologists and 1 warm water biologist.
