Whoops ;D
I know what yours is so far this year!
It's interesting to see what, when, and how people utilize different techniques to catch fish in different parts of the country. For instance I haven't thrown a lipped crank since I started fishing and was in the stage where I threw everything Bill Dance endorsed. For other people it's their most important technique. I'm sure it's great, I just despise it.
I mostly fish in smaller lakes or ponds, and target big fish. So, I throw bottom contact, big fish baits most of the time. The Baby Craw was a surprise for me. Used correctly, it can catch some hawgs.
Honorable mentions go to a Zoom Trick Worm.
1. Spinnerbait
2. Frog
3. Jig
(4. 10" worm)
In no specific order
1.Jig and craw
2.shakeyhead with some kind of finesse worm
3.squarebill crank mostly rc 1.5,bandit 100, excalibur squarebills.
Honorable mention to a 5/16 oz War Eagle finesse spinnerbait.

T-Rigged Rage Craw
Right on Cliff. I lean toward a beaver style bait over an actual craw though. BTW, It's still snowing.

On different techniques, that was the surprise of the earlier thread. Of the 149 responses, there was just not a simple pattern. Here's a comment by RW to one of my comments:
QuoteQuoteOne thing for sure - we're proving that bass can be caught on just about everything! ;D ;DI'm actually kind of surprised. Silly me, I thought we would see a lot more commonality. I guess I need to print this thread or take some notes!

Sometimes on a shakyhead, but most of the time on a 2/0 or 3/0 EWG hook.
