Whats your favorite havoc bait???
Personally I like the bait created by skeet reese...but wanting to try more...Any one use the Sick Fish? Or just name a couple guy.
My buddy uses the Fatty Craws on his jigs, cleans up with them as the trailers.
Pit boss no doubt
I like the Federale worm. Seem to work really well for me.
Pit boss in bama bug and perfection green flake and sick fish in ghost shad and green penny
Pit Boss and Bottom Hopper
Did pick up some Sick Fish to try out this fall and a couple of other plastics from Havoc.
subwoofer
Pit Boss
Beat shad
Pit Boss in Big Texan color. And Craw Fatty in green pumpkin.
Pit Boss in Okeechobee Craw with some chart dye on the tips.
none of them. ha

X2
Pit boss and craw fatty.
number one trailer for me is the craw fatty.... I like pegging a bullet weight to a pit boss...
they are cheap a good bait that catches fish... oh yeah and there very durable imo
I have tried quite a few. Ones that didn't make the cut:
Rocket Craw.....never caught a thing on it
Bottom Hopper.... decent but I like Zoom finesse/trick worms better
Juice worm... decent but I like regular power worms better
Beat shad............Garbage IMHO, these things are so frail, if you pull one out of the bag with a little too much vigor it ruins it.
Smash tube......not a fan
Ones I would use if I was out of my "regular" stuff
Pit Boss....caught fish on it, it's decent, I just have more confidence in other stuff
Craw Fatty....same deal as the pit boss
Sick fish....pike love it........bass.........meh only caught a handful, I can't get over the obnoxious paint smell on them when you open the bag.
Ones that are still in my rotation
Grass Pig.....good quality, good action, let them sit in the sun on the dashboard of your truck and they soften up nice
The Jerk.....denser than a fluke, so it stays down, and has the nice "shimmy" on the fall like a GYCB D-shad, or SK Caffine shad and is much more durable then both of those.
Devil Spear....I like the smaller size better than the bigger, but it's a nice flipping bait that holds a big straight shank hook well, and they are a deadly as a jig trailer
Slop Craw....This ugly hunk of do nothing plastic just gets bit.
I use a lot of the havoc baits and do really well with them.
Craw fatty is my favorite. I use it t-rigged and as a jig trailer and for me it catches a lot of big fish. My next most used is either the subwoofer or pit boss.
pit boss in green haze
My favorites in order,
Pit Boss
Sick Fish
Flat Dawg
Juice Worm
Rocket Craw
Bottom Hopper
Beat Shad
No use for the Devil's spear. I've used it in lakes where they'll hit nearly anything and never had a bite. Didn't like the craw fatty but it did catch some fish.
Grass pig as a chatterbait or spinnerbait trailer
Flat Dawg. Caught my PB on it this year. 6 lb. +
Bottom hopper jr. On a drop shot

Since you used both, do you like or have you used the pit boss or pit boss chunk as a trailer
What do you like better about the fatty versus. I was just looking around and wondering, gonna be buying some jigs and trailers soon.

Yeah i use the pit boss as a trailer as well. Imo they are both great trailers.. the craw fatty has worked better in the summer and also in the in winter, theres not a whole lot of stuff on the fatty just your two craw pinchers.. they both are connected so you can just pull them apart or if the bite is slow and want something with less action just keep them together. As for t-rigging a craw fatty i dont like the bait by itself. so the pit boss is my go to for t-rigged in the havov line up..

Does the bait not look right to you if fished with a 1 ounce jig???
Papa Pit Boss
Havoc Pit Boss, great T-rigged and As a trailer. Terrific action.
Devil Spear, Subwoofer, and the new Backslide are the only ones I currently keep in my regular rotation.
I only T-rig the Devil Spear with a heavy weight. Thats what it was designed to do, punching. But even just hopping this thing, or "stroking" it has gotten me bit in open water.
Subwoofer I run on the back of a swim jig often, and had great results. But I do more often run a Swim Senko.
The Backslide, even though it has little to no action, has been getting me a LOT of bites at the docks with the very slooooow fall and the little legs vibrating.

The papa pit boss might be better for a big jig trailer.
it looks fine to me with a once jig on.. these aren't the only trailers i use.. i like using the craw fatties when im skippin under docks and over hangs
I picked up some Craw Fatties today, I meant to get 1 pack of Pit Boss 1 pack of Fattys, I screwed up. Anyhow, I bought 4/0 Gamaktsu EWG hooks, will these work on texas right for these guys?
Saw some posts/videos saying 3/0 was propper size...thanks
The havoc line of plastics are my favorite by far!
I'm really liking the fatty craw, and the sweet beavers
Meant to say rocket craw instead of sweet beaver, which are from a different line of plastics. Reaction innovations make those sweet beavers. I'd say they are my second fab line of platics

I always use a 4/0, and save my 3/0 for senkos.
I got to use the Havoc Craw Fattys this weekend. I wasn't having much luck fishing it slow...I started casting and reeeling back to boat a moderate speed and had one nail it. The swimming action of them is a great..only caught 1 bass on them but 1 is better than none. I will be trying the Pit Bosses this weekend.
Pitboss in Black/Blue.
A 3.5" Grass Pig in pearl white, on a 2/0 Mustad 1/16 weighted hook. It's like cheating.
I have not used the whole line of Havoc products, but I really enjoy throwing the Rocket Craw as a swimming jig trailer
