Thought this would be interesting. I'd like to hear what your ONE lure would be if you could only have one. You have to travel around and use it, multiple waters... no X lure for X place and Y lure for Y place. This is the only lure you can have with you. Which lure would you choose?
Myself... I'd choose a white spinnerbait.
2 inch white grub
I know a lot of people are gonna say a jig but I've personally never had any success with them. I've got the most confidence with a kvd square bill so I'll go with that. The 1.5 in bluegill pattern.
Insanity North Star 1/2oz jig with a Hard Candy Rage craw.
I would choose a magnum finess trick worm just because you can rig it so many ways, fish it so many ways, and its a bait that can catch fish in any season.
Zoom ol monster worm in black
Stanley hollow body frog black with red flake
Bobby garland scent wiggl'r In white/silver. You will catch something with it anywhere.
My discontinued BPS topnocker.
Bring back the BPS XPS TOPNOCKER it the best topwater lure ever made.
1/4oz finesse jig
7inch powerbait worm in pumpkinseed, 3/8th weight and 4/0 hook.
100 count bags save lives!
3/8 oz swim jig bluegill color
GYCB senko 5 inch wacky rigged on a 2/0 finesse wide gap hook. Color would be green pumpkin with black flake.
texas rigged rage craw
jig w/ craw
6" worm, texas rigged, Red bloodline, 3/16 oz. weight. I've literally caught 100's of bass on this bait.
Chartreuse Spinnerbait, just seems to catch fish any where.
3/8oz black and blue jig
Chartreuse White Spinnerbait with Indiana blades and a red hook.
Rat L Trap.
Multiple waters mean different species as well, a bucktail jig catches any predatory fish in any body of water.
pearl white zoom fluke...
Blue/Black Jig with a craw trailer in 3/8 ounce.
A lipless crank bait....I prefer Xcalibur real gill either longear or pumpkin seed but any brand would do.
Black Senko
Similar threads come up almost weekly. I always have the same answer. One lure? Jig.
5'' Watermelon/Black fleck Senko worm
Would have to be some kind of jig.
Can't decide between
1. texas rigged worm
2. jig with craw trailer or worm trailer (recently tried out of curiousity with the end of a ribbontail worm and its awesome)
3. chatterbait with swimbait on it
A 4" hand poured finesse worm. That's always my go to bait if nothing else works, but that's a rare occasion that nothing else will work
Zoom finesse worm in baby bass
Green pumpkin zoom ol' monster, Texas rigged with a 1/4 ounce bullet weight, and a 5/0 red ewg gammie.
4.8 " Keitech Swing Impact Fat with a 4/0 screw lock 3/16 oz hook. Swim, crawl and flip it.
Lipless crank, chrome w/ blue back.
If I were fishing strictly for LMB, 7" ribbon-tail worm in tequila shad, t-rigged.
Tom
Senko 5" on 2/0 Owner weedless wacky hook
3/8 ounce green pumpkin jig with matching color rage craw, with this deal I would always catch fish..
3.5" BPS tender tube in any green/brown color variation.
White 1/2oz booyah spinnerbait
Hornytoad or buzzbait, tough choice....
If you mean for just for bass, a 5" Senko in Junebug or Watermelon. If you mean all fish, probably a Rapala Shad Rap
3/8 jigs with Rage bama craw.
Space Monkey

That is a versatile bait. T-rig, C-rig, Rage Rig, jig trailer, shaky head, unweighted like a toad....
1/2 ounce black and blue jig. Simply cant go wrong with it.
pearl white Zoom fluke with 3/0 gamakatsu EWG hook
3/8oz brush jig in blue craw /w rage craw matching trailer.
Motor oil/ chartreuse tail 7in. zoom trick worm, salt-less
I would choose a crankbait, because if you are traveling to different lakes and then there are going to be different species. You can catch bass, pike, muskie, and walleye on a crank.
Or I would choose a jerkbait for the same reason.
jig with double tail grub trailer
Senko. Easily. You can always catch a fish on a Senko. Lol
Always been a black mister twister 3" curly tail grub. BUT, chartruese salt and peper 4" Kalin's Lunkers are quicky becoming my most used.
