This is for you guys that like the screw type holders rather than the spike- The 3/16 now has a 4/O Mustad Ultra Point Hook instead of the 3/O As for right now you have to call in the orders and only 3/16 and 1/4 oz are available- here are some pics 732-780-7383 Thanks Bobby@MegaStrike

Im not a huge fan of the screw locks, so if you want I'll take your old Shake2's of your hands.
Some fishermen like the screw locks some studs- I heard Dozer is a stud muffin
I picked up a pack this last weekend from Cabelas. 3/16 oz, grn pumpkin with the stud. Quality
I like both models depending on the bait I am using-
So how is it different from any of the other stand-up jigheads with screw-locks that have been out for years?
It will land upright and not on its side and the fulcrum will allow the bait to roll forward so the the tail or claw will be in the vertical position. Most heads with baits attached will fall over on its side.-Some of its concepts are in this video-go to www.megastrike.com then to the shak-e2 head and watch the video-that one on the video has the spike the Pro Model has the screw lock.
So they are no different then the Buckeye Pro Spot Remover or Picasso Shake Down head that have been around for years. With the exception of the second collar that allows you to rig the bait with the hook exposed, thus loosing more of them and being more expensive. :
Exactly- You hit on the head - the more expensive part especially.. I've got to pay for this Porche and Ranger somehow- To trick anglers into believeing that a product is better or different and then jacking the price up and take full advantage of them. Its the American Way. The real trick is to convince them to rig the bait exposed hook so they lose more of them and have to buy more. If Billy Mays was alive today he would create a "Pro Staff" with you as the Head Cheese. Its not even close to those two products in design.
I am not putting down either of those products or anyone elses. What I do is show you an option to what anglers are currently using. Weather they buy them or not is up to them. Like I said when alll of those listeners used to scream about Howard Stern -My answer was always if ya dont like it turn to another station.
Tin, did you even look at the picture? Spot Removers and Shakedown heads especially have a very small base for standing compared to this jighead. The Shakedown is a pretty standard ball head jig. Why did you even throw that one in the mix and compare it to a specialty stand-up head that's 3/4" long and meant to roll like a football jig?
I happen to like Spot Remover a lot, but comparing which will stand better, the SR and the E2? I think thats pretty clear.
One question for those who use these Evo jigs. Do you not fish rock?
QuoteOne question for those who use these Evo jigs. Do you not fish rock?
This is a good point. These jigheads are going to get into some rocky snags and you're going to lose a few, no doubt about it, even with good de-snagging techniques. But considering all the other expenses with tackle, boats, gas, maintenance, insurance, etc, I'm not going to lose sleep over a couple of dollars for lost jigheads. That is, if they catch fish, which I think they will.
It is a stand up jig head with a screw lock. Just like others, if they roll, you didn't rig it right. The only advantage I xan see is being able to rig a very big or vide bait. Even then on a Pro Spot a Double Wide Beaver won't make it roll though.
Watch and learn Danielson.I have watched the jigs and Shak-E2's underwater on different cover and in the rocks. The fulcrum actually acts like a skid plate and slides it over a lot of the different types of cover where normally any other jig or jig head gets wedged. On the rocks also.
I use two stand-up jig heads, the E2 being one of them. They behave as advertised. I do wish Bobby would give me a ride in that Porche though.
I was being sarcastic Steve- LOL I dont own a Porche nor a Ranger. It was in reference to the comment of anglers losing the heads and having to buy more.

Yup yup. The E2 will land, and stay, upright much more than the Spot Remover.
Although the Picasso is my favorite shaky head, I agree it has no place in this debate.
Oh Bobby... First you cut the thingy off your cute little jig, then you refuse to give me a ride in your porche, next you'll be telling me Dozer and Richard Simons aren't one in the same!
Dozer! I didnt say a thing -he found out all by himself. Dozer was in my boat at the Hudson in his 1970's basketball gym shorts- . I am minding my own business fishing and all the sudden I hear all this commotion -I thought he had a giant on- all I heard and saw was Dozer jumping around saying1 and 2 and 3. and 4 -stretch it out now He is banned . THE HORROR THE HORROR
I'm glad to see you come out with one that has the screwlock, I personally prefer it over the spike version which is the reason I haven't tried them yet. I plan on ordering some the next time I order tackle.
Like I stated all along -I just show fishermen options to what they currently use. I explain it in layman's terms/fishermen.Try to show it on video to demonstrate them and let you chose to use them or not. Most all shakey heads and other lures will help fishermen catch fish but if you can make them more advantageous -then thats where MegaStrike comes in.
when will they be out in stores i can't wait to buy them ? how much will they be price at ?
When you order the Shake2 Pro Model, pick up
a couple of Bobby's new jigs. Top end components
and a unique design. If you are not already fishing
the Cavitron Buzzbait, you should be. Complete the
order with a tube of MagaStrike and you're good
to go!
