How much terminal tackle and plastics do you keep on hand? I keep a couple packs of the hooks and sinkers I like and a couple packs of the plastics I like to fish on hand. Some guys seem to have a tackle store at there house lol

50+ bags in a Berkeley soft bait binder the 1490 size.
More than I could ever possibly need.

Too much.
Total at home: 75#s of plastic
At the camp/in the truck: 10-12#s plastic
In the boat: 3-5#s of plastic

How much we talking ?
Probably enough for a season in my carry on. Maybe a "lifetime" in the Man Cave.
Then there's the new stuff I "need".

Are you fitting 50+ of the bags the plastics come in??

I'm not really selling.
Before my dad passed a few years ago, he looked at my plastics bag one day...laughed and said "I know where you spend your extra money". I think about that a lot when I pull it out. I've probably scaled back a little since then though. Of course I did just add robo worms and some dream shots this weekend.

I bought extra bags and organized according to my liking by brand or style. But yes. You can fit about 12-13 bags of gabler ugly otters into one bag. I can put 80 bags of plastics in if I really wanted to.
My plastics bag weighs probably 20#s...once i get the boat out they will go into a bin in the boat for the summer. I have them in 1 gallon ziplocks by style and color.
my hard baits bag weighs a ton lol
I could almost start a tackle store

You put them in plastic baggies? Not keeping them in their original package?
I use an old backpack. Its packed to the hilt with lures of every category. I try to stop buying stuff when it's filled and just use what I have. It could currently get me though an entire season of fishing, no problem.
Forgot to mention it holds 3 3750 Plano box's for all my hard baits aswell

No I kept them in orignal packages. There are larger bags that go into the binder like a clear page protector but they are a large bag for holding smaller bags.

How do all of the hole punches manage to fit in the binder rings? The bags stack up and you cant fit them it seems. Ive always been skeptical about buying one of these but im in dire need
Man I only keep a couple bags of each style and color I like and use lol. And a couple 6 packs of the hooks I use regularly. I mean I keep things pretty simple tackle and rigging wise. I'm amazed at what yall stock

The rigs are able to move around. Does what I need it to do.
About 50 bags of various stuff at any one time.
I am a sale junkie. With that said I tend to collect way more than I will ever use. Lol
Enough to go fishing
I have an entire backpack full of soft plastics, not to mention one of the rod lockers on my boat has various bags of soft plastics covering the entire floor. The thing is I hardly throw soft plastics any more unless the bite is tough. The only soft plastics I throw anymore on a regular basis are reapers, twin tail trailers, beavers, and I just started throwing the Missile baits D-bomb.
I'm not tellin'.
We won't even discuss jigs or crankbaits

Crankbaits for me are not so bad as of late. Jigs on the other hand, I have a three drawer see through plastic tote completely lined up with jigs in each row.
50-60 hooks. 20-30 sinkers. Four ziploc bags with 6-7 bait bags in them: one for worms, one for craws/creature baits, one for finesse baits like grubs and tube, and one for flukes/swimbaits.

Right!?
Last time ordered jigs i got 75 in one shot. That was 18months ago...i only have like 20 left
My backpack has 23lbs of stuff in it, that's downsized from 26lbs. I have two more backpacks full of plastics, one with plastic stick baits, and one with other types of plastic. One 3700 plano filled with terminal tackle. Realistically this should last me for quite some time, but the new Field and Stream grand opening is on the 26th, I'm gonna buy some more plastic, I just know it.
im a bank fisherman so i have a 3601 with all my hooks and a smaller box with only 6 compartments for all my weights and bobber stops
I don't know. This is a hard question. I'm not a big fan of hard questions so I will answer this hard question in the same manner that I answer many other hard questions in my life, i.e. by deferring thinking about it until "later".
Geeze . . . I feel better . . . . tackle dilemma over… . .
I refuse to respond to this post in fear of if I leave this site on and my wife sees what I might answer she'll stop believing me what I tell her what's in the bag every time I come home.
