Wanted to get some idea's on what your favorite Texas Rigged bait is. I know it depends on conditions but what is the Texas rig bait you have the most confidence in and turn to the most.
Right now it's the Rage Structure Bug.
Rage Craws, Powerbait Chiggers,
Mine used to be a watermelon tube, now I'm on a powerworm kick.
Craw Fatty - first cast Sun morning caught a nice spotted bass with it.... My new best friend!
Rage craw and zoom trick worm!
I´m really old school:
6-7" straight tail worm ( trickworm or jelly worm )
7.5" ribbon tail worm ( classic Culprit ribbontail worm )
I've been seeing a lot of skinks out so I have been throwing Zoom Lizards lately along with Yum Wooly Bugs. Although the Wooly Bugs are on a Flippin Hook.
A big worm by Zoom in watermelon or any number of creature baits.
Baby Rage Craws, and 10" Culprit Ribbon-tails.
Rage Craw, RI Beaver, Recon Worm, Trick Worm
I usually use a Brush Hog but I haven't been lately
netbait 9" t mac worm or missile d bomb
5in senkos
Rage Tail Cut R Worm, Rage Craw, Rage Chunk
Rage Lobster GYCB 6.5" cuttail worm I'll have those two rigged and ready at all times.

Big fan of both, but I fish the Kut Tail almost exclusively on a MegaStrike ShakE2 Professional Series.
Mine would have to be either a Culprit 10in. worm, Gambler 13in worm during the hot day's of summer when fishing deeper for big bass, and a Rage Craw.
I've been throwing a few lately.
Shell cracker
Structure Bug
Space Monkey

Ah! I just started using the cuttail worm a lot recently as well. I really like it on a 1/8-1/4oz sinker
Rage Craw
Skinny Dipper
Mike
Baby brush hog
10.5" Excite Maximus worm
Pit boss in green pumpkin purple flake!

I like the cuttail with a 1/16oz weight sometimes, but I almost always start with 1/8oz. Great minds think alike, eh?
I'll have to try out a 1/16th. I rarely ever go that low.On 9/4/2014 at 4:59 AM, .ghoti. said:I like the cuttail with a 1/16oz weight sometimes, but I almost always start with 1/8oz. Great minds think alike, eh?
Crazy legs chigger crawl or a roadkill 4" tube.
For some reason they are just not biting the worm right now. Most of my fish are coming on rage craws and chigger craws.
5" Senkos and Culprit fat max.
Missile Baits D-Bombs, and zoom u tales.
Lately it's been a Zoom G Tail Ringer
Either a Culprit ribbon tail or a NetBait Thumper and I never peg the sinker.
Zoom Ol' Monster, baby brush hog, or a Pit Boss.
berkley powerbait worm or zoom lizard
Recon, Zoom Ol ' Monster, baby Rage Craw
Berkley 7" Power Worm in Blue Fleck.
Zoom magnum finesse worm, Zoom utails, R.I. smallie and sweet beavers, and when things get tough I like a Zoom 4" dead ringer on a Siebert Zenith shakeyhead.
Zoom big dead ringers their 8" and the slower fall is killer on these texas rigged with a smaller weight.
MISSLE BAIT D-BOMBS , wave worm tiki craws, riot baits fuzzy beaver,
Swimtail flukes, devil spears and stik-o worked today. The list of things that didn't work was a mile long though...
It has changed 3 times already this year, all because the fish told me to.
Started with the 7" Berkley Gulp Turtleback (light pumpkin), then the 4" Zoom Dead Ringer (pumpkin with chartreuse tail), now it is the 6" Roboworm in Aarons Magic.
I'm not too loyal...
Right now it is a Mann's jelly worm.
Mine changes from day to day and week to week. Right now it's RI Sweet Beavers.
Hootie
Right now I have the most action with a Stick bait (senko) different colors for different lakes.
Senkos, Havoc Pit Boss, Zoom Trick
This summer the Rage Structure Bug, Zoom Brush Hog & the Big Bite Bait 10" Kriet tail worm have done well for me. For some reason the Kriet tail has been attracting bigger bites than the other big worms I've tried including my old stand -by 10" Powerworm .
I'm using he Gambler ugly otter right now.
I have done well with Rage Structure Bug, Tubes (especially Mizmo Roadkill) and D Bombs. Just picked up a few packs of Fuzzy Beaver for the heck of it.
Senko type of bait
Zoom trick worm or finesse worm... I peg my weights wity a bobber stop
Zoom brush hog regular or baby and Rage Craw.
Culprit IncrediCraw
brush hogs or speed craws
Chigger craws, any day of the week. green pumpkin in clear water, black n blue in dirty water. The only other bait that I use regularly is a 7.5" rage tail anaconda, either to try for a bigger bite or to help visibility in thick weeds.
