Just click on ANY of the products and product descriptions on this guys sight, and compare them to the following sight.

Here is the scam artist.

It doesn't matter what bait you click on while on dzinelures.com. You will find the identical product, product description, and product picture claiming to be his own hand poured baits on the geocities site. This is serious infringement going on. I just don't want anyone to fall prey to this. I didn't shoot dzine baits an email telling them about this...maybe someone should.

This is the same guy that took alot of us for sympathy tackle, he got me for around $100 in cranks. He hassled me with PMs and emails about going fishing and needing help. I was giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, then all of a sudden, I can't get in touch with him. The moderators clued me in. He has visited a few local shops trying to make them "dealers". I got a picture of him off of his site. I made several copies and distributed them around the local shops with some background. One of his favorite haunts is the Madison County Public fishing lake, I plan to make a trip by there this weekend and let them in on a little information. On a different note, I am very surprised that most people around here(the ones in the tackle shops) have never heard of the BR.

Its happened to me more times than i can count, i guess i should consider it a compliment. You know what they say copying is the highest form of flattery or whatever

I actually knew when Brent went ahead and posted it that this was probably going to happen.

I know the owner of Designer Lures personally and he is a great guy. we used to talk all the time. i acutally tested many of his prototype lures. nice stuff. what i like the most is his value for the customer. there are so many options available to the customer. any of the scents, salts, and glitter for no extra charge. not sure if it says on his website but he will mix colors for you and everything. great guy.

my guess is that the second site is one of his distributors. www.dzinelures.com isn't even Designer Lures official "home site". the "home site" is www.designerlures.com the www.dzinelures.com website is just one of his distributors. he has several distributors, and the one in your original link is probably one of them. another one is www.nealstacklebox.com and several others.

but if that is not one of his distributors and this other guy is ripping off Steve (owner of Designer Lures) then that other guy is a real d**k.

i'm a 37 y/o disabled fishermen on s.s.i i cant afford alot and im trying to get set up on tackle that i can use for a tournament starting in january here in north alabama. ive been trying to save up around 15 dollars a month just for this one tournament its difficult to do so when it comes to bills. :-[ .

From the looks of his prices, he is buying them at no discount,....just marking them up like they were gold.

I too have sent him about 4-5 emails,....no replies. Brent, tell him if he wants to contact me to hit the REPLY button. Last letter he got was from my lawyer. Still,....No reply.

And he has yet to remove the copied material.
